We can calculate various parameters like stress, safety margin,total deformation and also helps in finding out how good mesh is.
Being able to integrate existing SolidWorks files seamlessly was a great feature that saved the team a lot of time creating new models.
It is easy to use and the Ansys customer support is very helpful and responsive.

That makes user have to resort to other design software such as Solidworks etc. When I get an error, I can hardly find the reason for this error.
You can design a part, analyze it for fatigue, heat&fluid, modal, displacements, stress values whatever you want. I suggest every mechanical engineer to use this program for your problems.
Difficult to entegrate it with a PLM program. Ergo, file management is bad.
