Invoices aren't always accurate because product will be entered in as weight, but sold by piece, however we are working coming up with a way to fix that. The system is pretty straight forward and functional. There's a lot we still don't know much about or use. We plan to expand our current knowledge to get the FULL effect of ScrapRight's software options.
After learning the system there are some features that are useful and easier to use than our last software we used. Tracking inventory is much easier with ScrapRight.
There are certain kinks that occasionally pop up, such as entering a "Finished Good" in as a package and commit it to our inventory, but then can not locate the Package # when it comes time to ship it out. As well as getting the FULL potential of contracts and invoicing. Things we still are working on. However, when going through and making a correction on a BOL for weight or for pricing, it's quite cumbersome because once you make a change to one thing, it always brings you up to the first entry, it doesn't just allow you to adjust one after another. You have to always scroll back to where you were then adjust the next item.

Streamlined inventory cost and analysis.
It is user friendly once you understand the system. Provides inventory and record keeping details. That enables me to maintain accurate cost analysis as well as keeping historical analysis.
At times the system runs slow. Other times part of the system just stops functioning and needs to reboot.
Jacob, thank you for taking out time of a crazy schedule to give us a 10 out of 10 recommendation! We appreciate it more than you can know! Regarding the slow or reboot, just a note, you have been with us I believe for 6 or 7 years, I am pretty confident that we could eliminate these issues altogether with a newer better up to date server that would also come with a 3yr NBD Onsite Warranty. Call me for options!

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are very good at what they do and their attention to customer needs is top notch. Good customer service is hard to find and they sure do deliver on that!
Our team has embraces the transition to ScrapRight very well considering we were using a different software system for 12 years. The set up and integration was very smooth with the onsite help and the ability to integrate existing hardware kept costs and disruptions low. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are dedicated to make sure this is a good fit and help resolve any issues right away.
We are a little anxious about the system being completely cloud based. So far it seems to be working well but Internet outages are inevitable and we are bracing ourselves for how that will work.

I have been able to expand my business, and ability to service others.
The software is easy to understand and use. It helped me to be able to track easily what was purchased, sold, the profit, and what remained in storage. Without this software, I definitely would not have made it through the rough times when scrap prices reached its recent low point. Instead, I have been able to expand.

It helps with daily business activities/tracking
Being able to access it from anywhere at anytime. You can be on vacation and adjust pricing or pull up a report during a meeting.

Its easy to train people on scrapright
It takes pictures of products, customers getting paid, place to store information.
The receivables is very time consuming. When your receiving payment from one company, I could have 15 bill of ladings on one check, you have to go into each bill of lading, correct the price, put the amount paid, check number. it would be nice to have the option to select multiple bill of ladings to one check payment entry. container tracking has a lot of issues, we allocate one, then pick it up,...

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the product...I threw away, at a cost of $25K, my initial scrap software system; 21st Century after 2 years of use. Because of the horrendous lack of support they offered and the time they took to resolve issues.
Ease of use and having access to Randy/Andrew and Shon when needed.
New tech hires that are afraid to get their supervisors involved when dealing with an issue they've never dealt with before...

for the price I wish the program did more. I also wish that when you call tech support to fix a problem it could be done right then, that is when the customer is here-loss of customers
It makes filing reports easy. would be better if when it messes up you could fix problems to resubmit the reports. example if license was expired be able to update after the transaction.
can not fix problems. we are just stuck. the program is slow. the program is redundant, it does not do everything we need to be compliant. ie cash cards the program forces us to type and retype customer info to stay complaint.

We only use Scrapright to generate outbound loads. It's good to get the BOL, Packing List, and photo of the pallet all at once. The photos have saved us on a few pallets.
I would like the software to be able to include the prices of the individual pallets we send out. It seems like we should be able to put our material prices/lb. into the system and have the value calculated by the weight of the material, and be able to print this out as well. Didn't get a satisfactory answer about this from tech support. It would save us a big step and allow us to actually us this software for other tasks around here.

We were recently with a company that we literally had issues with DAILY. I don’t mean like one or two, I mean like we hardly even got to use the system we paid for each month! Since getting with ScrapRight, it’s been SUCH A BLESSING, & the customer service has been exceptionally AMAZING!!! I’d recommend them to EVERYONE that wanted a low cost, AFFECTIVE way to run their business simple, professional, EXTREMELY great customer service, and never have to worry after hours what the day will bring come tomorrow!
It’s extremely easy to learn, use as well as to teach our employees! Even those not so efficient in English comprehends this!

Good POS system for the price and run specials.
Doesn't interface well with Quickbooks, and staff isn't helpful navigating the pitfalls of your product.
With no name I have to make an assumption that you are an iScrapRight subscriber? Our iScrapRight product is not intended to integrate with QuickBooks, nor will this be an offering in the future on this product. I switched to ScrapRight from one of their competitors, and unfortunately because of the new tools that ScrapRight provided we found out that my niece and daughter had stolen over $72000 from our company. I hated that this happened, but I am ever grateful to the tools provided by ScrapRight that help me know exactly what is going on in my business. The other software basically helped them to accomplish this. Thank you ScrapRight! I don't believe I will ever be stolen from again
This was a very painful lesson or me to learn that the right company is worth so much more than what I am paying, it cost a lot of money to figure that out. If you are reading my review, please choose these guys, they literally could save your business!

Its easy to use and effective. It gets the job done when needed. Its simple. Things are easy to fix.
Sometimes things stop working and its hard to fix. And you have to stay up on the price change. But usually if i call its fixed right away.
