Pros

Having the ability to customize reports, information/data that you'd like to collect combined with great customer service has been a win for our organization.
They are knowledgeable, friendly, patient and professional. It's so reassuring to know that if you need help, there is a live person available to walk you through what you need.
He was extremely patient and pleasant during the training process, which made it fun and easy.

Pros

The other fantastic thing, is they are constantly improving their software. They release frequent updates, and are always taking feedback about things they can add in to improve their program.
The design is also very clean and appealing looking on both the admin and volunteer end. Customer support at Better Impact is top notch.
The customer service is outstanding. Of course the application is in the cloud and has easy to use access for volunteers.

Cons

Files have to be meticulously formatted within a certain file type, and the set of steps from data gathering to completion is sometimes frustrating and unforgiving of minor errors.
As an aside, I recently had a problem with my database when an update was installed on the Sumac software.
I also don't like that online membership purchases require a log in before purchasing, which is a barrier to getting more people.

Cons

I struggle to generate reports, there are no many options, it is confusing.
I'll go in to make a simple report and get overwhelmed with the options to choose from, and I cannot remember which boxes to check to get just the right data.
I was having an issue with an activity and could not determine why certain volunteers were unable to view the listing.
