I was trying to get a better way to communicate with our teams and streamline invoicing and payment plans.  So far this program has done nothing but take hours out of my day responding to emails from my customers that they can't access their TeamSnap account.  

Very Disappointed - Overpromised and Underdelivered

Allows our small volunteer lead youth softball organization to operate way above our capabilities from an information technology perspective. It has made our ability to manage registrations and the associated $$ Much more smooth than I ever anticipated. Even in the challenging spring of 2020 when we had to cancel our program because of the Covid pandemic, our ability to offer and process refunds was so simple!

Keeps making a positive difference to our youth sports program. 

Overall, the mobile and desktop functionality is what sold me on this tool and why I renew with them every year!

TeamSnap Review

I've used it for a long time and it's fairly simple and universal for parents and coaches. I'll continue to use it, but would be nice to have a few more options included without additional charges

I loved the fact that you can share the schedule and update/changes to the schedule are real-time and you can choose who to send notifications to.
I like the fact that you can send notifications using text or email.

Was ok until there's a glitch.  Then there is no responsiveness at all.  I think this is not a very vertical company and someone needs a real programmer on their team.

Team Snap App

 I decided to  switch our lacrosse club with multiple teams & clinics from another management software after reading positive reviews of Teamsnap.  I now realize most of the reviews are from experiences on a single team level, not organizational level.  We’ve been using Teamsnap for 2.5  years for registration/payment processing, rostering multiple teams, contact management/communications, and team management, and availability tracking.  The software and app are simple to use at the team level, but for organization management some phone support is necessary.  The price is low but you pay in hours of frustration.

As a youth sports organization administrator I have spent countless hours learning and using Teamsnap.  It is tough understanding “best practices” for setting up organizational levels  (divisions, teams, and seasons etc).  I have  read through FAQ’s, watched training videos and how to’s that don’t address some of my specific questions.  The biggest problem with Teamsnap for a sports club is the lack of support.  There is no phone support at all.  Which means I had to spend time and frustrating amounts of brainpower trying to type out explanations of my issue in emails and responses are anywhere from several hours up to 2 days to receive an answer back.  Usually first response will link to the how-to guides I have read and do not pertain to my question so it goes back and forth to get an answer.  As a parent volunteer this is too frustrating and consuming.

Almost Great But………Frustrating for Organization Management W/ Multiple Teams or Divisions

Good team management tool but needs improvement

Team Snap has helped with keeping things organized with my four teams that I coach.   It makes it extremely easy to keep in touch with parents and players on everything having to do with the team.

This software has become a 'no brainer' for operations of our association. Managers are give access to their team accounts and the rest is history.

Before I used TeamSnap, I had to remember to send email reminders to the team before each game and practice. I had to manage multiple email addresses from some players (parents, grandparents, etc.). I had to check our snack lineup each week and remind the parent who was supposed to bring the halftime and postgame snacks. Now, I can do all that through TeamSnap, and it automates a lot of those functions. All my parents downloaded the mobile app. I no longer have to worry if a player's demail address dropped off the email chain.

Great app for sports management and athletic families.

Thanks for the feedback. We have a few things we are working on to make the mobile apps even faster.  We recognize that cellular networks out on the field can be hit or miss and we have some things coming to help.

Great Team Management Software

I have uses it for years.  It is my go to app for team management.  I used it seasons with one team and seasons with 15.  Its been smooth sailing ans I have no trouble.  I use this for communication features as well 

Excellent team manager tool

Love the shared game day pictures comments and conversations, but it can get a little annoying on my Apple watch as notifications can ding endlessly if the whole team gets chatting about a topic

Stay in touch with your team

Overall, the app helps keep the team organized and keeps a record of things that have occurred which can be helpful as well. Just too many notifications on my phone which left me annoyed at times with the app and the frequency of it buzzing.

Overall a good deal for a free app. If you pay for more features I am sure things get easier.

Thanks for the feedback.  If you happen to have your roster in a spreadsheet, we can import them in bulk That can make things easier.  Just look for the import button.

Allows you to keep track of attendance and availability. For small teams this would work well and is an easy solution. There are other apps out there I would consider before TeamSnap.
