Vagaro is a web-based solution for salon and spa owners to promote their services and connect with customers through ‘Vagaro.Com’ website and Vagaro’s mobile app. It is a B2C platform wherein salons can register and create a profile, advertise their brand, promote new events and book appointments with customers.

With Vagaro, salon owners can create a customized website with complete information about their venue, staff bios, services they offer and their working hours. Salons can display which booking slots are available for the day, week or month and allow customers to book an appointment at a time that's convenient to them. Vagaro allows users to send text and email notifications to customers, confirming the appointment, then send alerts and reminders for appointments booked.

Users can build a customer database by importing contacts from an excel or .csv file or pulling contacts directly from their mobile. Customers can post feedback on a Salon's Vagaoro page, for them to view. Salon owners can also manage internal activities such as generating sales & service reports, monitoring business progress with real time analytics, clock-in & clock-out, staff attendance, and map with payroll service.

Vagaro solution offers an integrated point of sale (POS) feature to sell gift certificates, products or packages to customers online and via mobile. Currently, Vagaro offers its services across Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and USA.

Pros

Reports are user friendly. Clients have ease of access to website. Company owned merchant is a perk.

Cons

Uploading pictures is not easy due to pixel limitation. Not quickbook drop ready. Could use new back drops on building the web page.

I like how easy it is to navigate this software. I also have had great customer service each time I have called. Wonderful staff to work with!

Cons

I would like to see the notifications clients receive to come up as our salon name instead of a number.

Easiest and user friendly out of all I have tried

Pros

I love the tracking of Reports. Super easy for the eyes, and easy for users. Seems other systems are so busy and distracting to the eye. This is so easy and to the point

Cons

Just a few bugs need to be worked out on the apple app. But as we go along, I notice when I have an update notice, that improvements are coming.

It helps me run my business smoothly!

Pros

I love how it texts my clients their appointments. That everything is stored in the cloud. I like the new way to check customers out.

Cons

The online booking is hard for clients. I also with there was automated emails like reviews and thank you's to the customers as well as email marketing that is automated.

i like how the new updated version is user friendly, it keeps track of new clients, returning clients and current clients, it makes my tax time easier by having the reports there at a click of a button.

Pros

i can use it on my Mac, iPad and iPone.. records all purchases and running reports are so easy to use and keep track of clientele

Cons

doesn't have a bank transfer/direct deposit as a payment option in the check out.. its mainly based in america but it still works in Australia.

Vagaro is very easy to use and has everything!

We like that is keeps track of clients, reminds them of their appointment, email tracking, the website and many other things!

Pros

I really like the way it tracks emails I send to clients. The custom website is a great bonus and we recently added the merchant services. It keeps track of everything!!

Cons

I do not like the credit card swiper attached to the computer. It doesn't capture all the information and flips the month and year on the credit card. We just use the iPad to check out clients.

It keeps track of my income for me and breaks it done but what the paid with. Was kinda hard to learn but I'm getting there. i switch from another system and they are very different so it is taken a little bit to get used to

Ease of booking and confirming clients appointments!

Pros

I love that it sends out reminder texts to my clients and allows me to pick how often I went them to send. I also like that you can allow customers to book online.

Cons

I would like if it kept me logged in for a longer period of time. It takes awhile for it to log me back in everytime!
