The main draw for me is the customer support-- we have the BEST account manager (shout out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]!). He is always available and will readily bend over backwards if there's something he can do to help. He makes a point to reach out and check in. He is ALWAYS considerate of my time, which is SO appreciated.
Vitus Vet is very user friendly. We especially love the 2-way connect (texting platform), as it integrates with our practice management software. I had to send out a lot of email "blasts" during the initial days of the pandemic, as we updated our protocols and what not... super easy to make nice looking emails for mass communications as well.
On the app side of things, they used to have capability for clients to be able to pull up x-rays which was very cool but I'm sure REALLY bogged down the system and slowed things down. I really don't have any complaints. Vitus Vet is innovative and always coming up with new things... I really like that they ask for our input as well, when making these improvements.

We have been pleased with VitusVet as a company and with their software. Their staff is always responsive and helpful. The expansion of services they offered throughout the past few years, have made our job a little easier. Our clients enjoy being able to text us and receiving pictures from us of their pets post-surgery.
I have been with VitusVet for a few years. What I like about the software is the easy of use for my staff. When I initially signed on with them, I was impressed with ways they were looking to expand services to better assist the veterinary clinics.
Integration into practice management software could be better but the solution VitusVet has works well

The setup went flawlessly but support afterwards was not good. We still use it but I don’t have a super strong tie if something better came at better price
We use Vitus for our prescription requests, payments, reminders and texting and love the functionality
The support is definitely not where it should be. You have to email and wait, sometimes days for a response. It would be nice to have more local control of features

Overall, I'm sad we didn't partner with VitusVet sooner. It has eased the workload and phone calls a ton, allowing for more things to get done in the hospital over on the phone.
The texting ability is absolutely amazing! While doing everything curbside, we've utilized the texting more than we thought we ever would! Appointment and med requests are easy to read and follow up on, the UI is fantastic.
The only thing I can say that is a legitimate con to Vitus Vet is that I can't go back to "archived" appointment requests.

Customer Service is Second to none! Our practice went from average to a very bussy one.
You will never going to loose or miss a client or an appointment.
I can't find any cons on it. It is easy to use. They will take care of everything and will guide you trough the software integration process.

Wonderful team and support, our staff is really happy with the software so far
It has all the features we need ( appt reminders, appt requests, an app for clients, refill requests and reminders, 2 way text) and it is vey use friendly
A few kinks needed to be worked out with integrating the software into evet, but customer support is very helpful in assisting with our needs

I have had a great experience with Vitus Vet. I was previously using Vetscene and their texting feature was not great. We did not get notified when a client wrote to us. It was really important that when switching over there was a way we would get notified when a text came through and Vitus Vet assured me there was. It has been working out great, there is a pop up at the bottom right hand that tells you who is messaging and what is is regarding. Every time I need customer service they respond quickly and are really helpful.
The texting feature is what I liked the most about this software. I love how easy it is to use and you can copy the messages and import or paste them into patient files. The other feature I like is the campaign. You can send a mass email to clients.
There is no way to to send a mass text to clients. The appointment requests do not correspond with what appointments slots are taken.

Vitus vet support has always been prompt and kind. The company always takes what we have to say into consideration and is always making improvements where necessary.
Ease of client communication and how it copies directly to the patient record.
Creating email and text campaigns is very clunky and the save/draft process makes it take longer than it should. I would like to see this improve.

We hope to streamline our payment system to allow payment via text and email which will cut down on phone calls and CCS time on the phone. The app helps clients have their pets medical info with them at all times which is especially useful if they are at the ER and we are closed. The refills via VV also help with the phone calls for both CCS and technicians filling them.
The dashboard is easy to navigate and has all of the information you need.
I am sure I will have more feedback once we start using Vitus Pay and Connect. So far so good!

Overall, we are very happy with Vitus Vet. The software is so much more robust than what we use it for, but the features we use are great. The customer service is exceptional.
We use Vitus Vet for automated appointment reminders and payment processing. The customizable automated reminders really helped us keep our clients up to date on current covid policies without much extra effort/phone calls/communications on our part. Additionally, it saves us a lot of time when confirming appointments for the next day. The payment processing and reporting is intuitive and easy to use.
We have 2 payment terminals from Vitus Vet and they always connected and disconnected from the wifi at random times. It was rare that both terminals were connected to the wifi at the same time.

I am sad that Vitusvet dropped the upload of x-ray images for the clients to view on their phone.
I am an "older" generation, but always try to keep up. I have come to realize that 50% of clients do not read my emails or listen to my phone messages I leave when I want to communicate with them regarding diagnostics results about their pet. However, they respond within minutes if I text them. This is the world today.
What I disliked the most initially is that the Android phone was not equally supported like the iPhone, but this has greatly improved.

I am an original user of the system and have about 600 clients using the system.
The ease of use, client satisfaction, reminder system and response rate and the new 2 way texting that integrates into the communication section of the client record.
At this time I do not find any cons with the system. the company responds to my requests and questions fast and has resolved problems quickly.

I am truly happy that we found a service that 1. can confirm our scheduled appointments and 2. can allow our staff to easily text clients updates and picture regarding their pets.
One of the most utilized features is the vitusvet connect feature. This is truly a godsend to us because it allows our staff to communicate with clients throughout the day. Our staff is able to send patient updates to pet parents during their appointments/procedures sometime even pictures. Its a great tool that keeps the flow of communication going.
There is nothing I dislike. I have not had the opportunity or the need to explore the other available options provide by Vitus Vet. Perhaps in the future I will have a reason to explore these additional options.

It's been great! A huge help to our front desk personnel...wish we had it during the height of COVID when clients were not allowed in the building. We also have our credit card processing included in the package, which is competitive and allowed us to upgrade our credit card machines.
VitusVet takes care of all types of reminders for us, including daily confirmation/reminders of appointments. Clients are able to request appointments through VitusVet. It also reaches to our clients for refills on medications. If clients want to access their pet records, they can do so through the VitusVet app, which is great!
It asks clients about ALL medications, even ones that should not be refilled.

VitusVet is consistently changing and trying to improved their product. They have an excellent support team. The software is still working to be more - I would like it to do more, but for what it does, it is a great product.
VitusVet is our third reminder system. I find it fairly easy to use and our clients who use it, like it. The customer service team is very friendly and eager to help - which says a lot about a company.
I do wish there was more customization and more reports accessible. We have had some issues with the reliability of their reminders.

Our overall experience is great! We recommend the app to all our clients and encourage them to use it daily. We stress that they will have their records on hand if they are out of town and have an emergency. I personally use the app and love it !
The features that most impact our clinic is the ease of clients making appointments for large and small animals. Being a mixed practice with 6 doctors, our phones are always ringing, so being able to schedule from the computer helps greatly. We are trying out the texting feature and we love it so far !!
If I could ask for something to be improved it would be that clients would see their appointments on their phone even if they did not schedule it from the app.

Overall was fine. Honestly not impressed towards the end. We switched services since being told that our bill was going up like $200 and I had 6 hours to call back and decide if I wanted to renew before they shut us out of the program. Therefore, we switched programs
Ease of use was fine. Lay out was alright to find everything.
Needed updating. Very old looking compared to other software programs

VitusVet provided us with an effective tool to communicate with our clients over many different modes. It integrates with our PIM (Cornerstone) and greatly reduces the amount of work we need to do to maintain constant communication with our clients so that we can focus more on patient care.
Occasionally the data won't update if they have issues connecting with our database.

Great experience, love the new innovative solutions.
The two way texting feature between client and our vet hospital's fixed land line phone. The software translates into a chat app. Starting to integrate this with telemedicine where clients can text pet pictures with questions. It is also a great appointment reminder tool. Clients can easily view their pet's medical records on VitusVet app, and share them with others caretakers and third parties such as goomers or other veterinarians.
The medical records are available for viewing too soon. Not flexible appointment request options. Does not fully integrate with AVImark like Rapport.

Overall it is a good program and the tech support is awesome and gets back to you right away. I would recommend them.
I like that it has the app for our clients convenience. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but very easy to use. I have had 3 similar programs in the past and VitusVet has brought on the most users I've seen with an app. It makes any contact with our clients quick and easy. Clients are also able to see their pet's records and lab work in the app which is not a feature we've had before.
The fact that our clients cannot see their scheduled appointments unless made through the app. If a client does request a medication refill or appointment through the app, the confirmations from us are sent push notification within the app, text AND email all at once which is a bit of overkill. Early on we have a few glitchy things happen such as our surveys not being turned on and if an alternate appointment time is proposed to the client via the app, they don't receive that notification.

Overall we are very pleased with VitusVet. Our clients love being able to request appointments online and access their pets' records at any time
The app makes it easy for clients to access and share their pets' medical records, book appointments, and see when their pets are due for a checkup. The customer support team is phenomenal and always attentive to any concerns or suggestions
The dashboard is a bit minimal, and there are a few features that are currently lacking a bit, but the company takes suggestions very seriously and is continuously working to improve their product. Overall we are very pleased!
