Awesome For Remote Designers

2019-10-17

This literally allows people to globally connect in real-time for conference calls.

Pros

This software we used primarily on the design team to collaborate with photographers and/or other vendors while working from home or remotely.

Cons

Ours was not included with the Adobe Creative Suite package that we subscribed to, so there was an additional cost for this.

Decent Conference Software

2018-06-18

Pros

We use Adobe Connect to organize our video conference calls and it's one of the better software programs we've tried.

Cons

Setting up the software on everyone's computers and getting the settings worked out took a little bit longer than we would've liked or had anticipated. Sharing powerpoints sometimes looked a little odd but it could have been one of the settings we never really got worked out. A little pricy but it worked.

Great Conferencing Tool For Teams

2017-06-07

Pros

Screen sharing and recording is done easily and you can download the recordings in high quality.

Cons

Since it runs on flash, there can be issues on Chrome, and sometimes just won't run at all. I have to open it in another browser instead.

Adobe Connect for Web Conferencing

2020-03-19

Great web collaboration tool for large meetings and virtual conference calls to share content live.

Pros

The on-demand recordings work great and having only been on a couple webinars and worked with on-demand recordings as assets to embed in email campaigns, the look-and-feel was really solid.

Cons

I don't have anything I disliked about this because the old look and feel was improved upon with the new UI layout to navigate enhancing the UX.

Love Adobe Connect

2018-03-29

Pros

We use it exclusively in several offices for all our conferencing.

Cons

While VOIP only is a little annoying, we have not had any issues with the calls. People have continually rated the call quality high and the connection process is simple on both ends.

Solid Conferencing Tool

2020-08-23

A great tool for organizational conferencing. Still trying to gauge if we'll use it for the longterm, but have no reason to not recommend it those who have frequent need fore conferencing.

Pros

It's quite robust in terms of features it provides—video, audio, screen-sharing, polls, chat, Q&A, document transfers, custom presentations, training materials, and learning modules. Recording and playback seems to be quite seamless.

Cons

It's great that you can use it on mobile and iPad.

Video Conferencing Solution For Group Meeting Needs

2019-07-09

Adobe Connect helped us to set up large web conferences and meetings where participants from multiple areas were able to call in and listen to a speaker.

Pros

The meeting room offered options to share files and create interactive activities to increase engagement.

Cons

Video quality wavered, and it showed during a recording of the session.

Great for video conferencing

2018-12-04

Pros

I really like the fact that before creating a video call, Adobe Connect checks all the necessary settings on its own, and it is possible to connect an unlimited number of users.

Cons

The disadvantage is the constant need to update the flash player, so I don’t like it that this takes place a few minutes before an important video conference.

2020-03-22

Pros

While "handraising" is more common among other video conferencing technology, additional features such as voting and polls are great for controlling and engaging a large group.

Robust webinar platform

2018-12-18

This platform saves us a ton of money vs. in-person meetings. It's good enough to provide an experience that can substitute for most in-person meetings. We also do numerous training sessions with this platform, record them, and make them available to our partners.

Pros

We record most of our sessions, and Adobe offers good tools for editing the recordings, which can then be shared right from Adobe's platform.

Cons

My biggest gripe with Adobe Connect is the necessity of engaging a third party in order to achieve integrated telephony.

Adobe Connect's effectiveness

2018-03-13

Overall, Adobe connect is a good tool to possess for a company if a platform for virtual meetings does not exist but before getting too much into Adobe connect new organizations should definitely explore the competitor software as it does lack in flexibility and customization.

Pros

Its very simple to use and relatively user-friendly, it offers almost all features that its competitors offer like recording meetings or sending chats.

Cons

One of the major disadvantages of using Adobe Connect is that compared to it's competitor it does not have as many options to establish various levels of controls that you need in the meeting. It has a few general settings that may not be applicable to all scenarios and all organizations and therefore can sometimes lead to inconvenience.

Pros

Powerful web conferencing platform focused for organizations, it allows you audio and video conferences, and customize your meeting with polls, real time chatting and collaborate through document and screen sharing.

Excellent program for interactive conferences

2019-05-23

Pros

I like that the program does not need to be installed on the computer. Video calls can be made directly from the browser.

Cons

A license to use is expensive. I advise you to acquire it only if you plan to conduct more than 10 seminars per month., Otherwise you risk to spend money in vain.
