Setting up audio and video conference calls with multiple people easily.

Pros

The settings are easy to review as well in case you want to use different audio or camera for different type of meetings.

Cons

I haven't really come across any cons. One time with an update there was a couple of bugs but they were resolved shortly.

Pros

There is the usual features: voice, video, chat, etc.

Cons

You need to download the software before you can join a video chat or conference call. The download is over in 1-2 minutes, so this isn't really a con I guess.

Interesting communication tool

Pros

One thing I really like about BlueJean is its support for large number of people on a single voice/video conference.

Cons

Only the initiator of the call can record the call which is not inclusive enough.

A good communication tool

Pros

Blue jeans makes it very easy to communicate with colleagues who are remote or for conference calls.

Cons

I have experienced calls dropping some of the times I have used it. Both parties cannot record the call which can be frustrating for the other party who didn't initiate the call.

A fully functional video conferencing product that helps remote teams communicate better

So much communication can be missed on a phone call and definitely through emails. Video conferencing helps you capture the nuance of the conversation that you may miss otherwise and connect you to the people you are working with.

Pros

My favorite feature is that you do not need a moderate to join before the meeting starts as long as two or more participants join.

Cons

Like all video conferencing, the technology is getting better, but there can be lots of awkward bumps in the conversation due to people talking over one another, echoes, choppy audio and frozen video.

A Bit of a Learning Curve, but VERY Useful Web Conferencing Software

- Plug-in with Chrome allows easy integration to Google Calendar - Simple URL to give others access to your meeting - Ability to remotely control other participants' desktops through the application - Moderator can mute or remove any participant - Each meeting can have a unique dial-in to prevent cross-over

Cons

- Their low-bandwith mode can result in calls getting dropped - The application on Mac will often freeze and need to be restarted between calls - Some users have a difficult time when first needing to use the application

Cons

Almost every other time I've used this program for calls (independant of person) I would experience lag or even people being dropped from a call altogether The interface wasn't laid out very well, so it wasn't that easy to find what I was looking for

As communicated earlier, it made connecting with team members evenly spread out around the globe easier. We can also record vital communications and training made thru bluejeans.

Pros

You can dial-in using its US phone or connect by clicking the conference bridge details.

Cons

There are only two things I don't like about this app: First, when recording a training discussion or a vital communication, the recording doesn't save real-time. It sometimes takes a few hours for you to see it saved in the recordings.

It has eased the communication gap which naturally exists because of distance between full time developers and the offshore team.

Cons

Bluejeans consumes a lot more bandwidth than usual.Although there is little complaint about this because it has been so efficient in terms of the quality of video and audio calls.

Pros

While UberConference is my goto conferencing solution, I have BlueJeans on standby when needed.

Cons

Perhaps the install is required for quality (which is great), but it would be easier without it.

It makes it super easy to get into whatever meeting you're supposed to be in at any given time.

Cons

I work from home 2-3 times a week, and even though the office is only 1 mile away, we frequently have to turn off video and just chat via audio. But then what's the point of BlueJeans?

Good tool for conferences, it has audio, video, chat, in general terms, I think it's a dead letter!!

Cons

Slow downloading of the plug in when it does not exist in any computer, sometimes the audio is not all good, as well as the quality of the video.
