Blue Jeans software is the greatest

Used occasionally for 1-2 years

The software is pretty easy to adopt due to the ease of use, it is the only software I am aware of that can connect to hardware based video conferencing

Pros
This is the video conferencing software that is able to connect to the greatest variety of endpoints

Cons
It is pretty expensive and the pricing model is kind of confusing. It is tough for an individual to buy the software in comparison to a company that can afford it

Great experience and easy implementation. It is fairly priced and has packages that fit any sized business. I would highly suggest for companies that have offices across long distances.

Pros
We have 21 warehouses across the company with 150 full-time salaried employees we need to stay connected to. I knew this would help with collaboration but what I didn't foresee was the since of connectivity it creates amongst teams that do no work in close proximity together. All in all, it was one of the best decisions we have made bringing on this technology.

Cons
The equipment needed for in-office video conferencing isn't cheap, but it is of great quality. We have had ours for over a year now and have had no issue. However, you don't have to have the equipment, just a computer or cell phone to get the benefits the system provides.

My experience with this tool has been when communicating with my clients or suppliers. Since many of the people we negotiate with are foreigners.

Pros
What I like most about this tool is its stability in calls, whether it's just audio or audio and video. Never in what I have used the tool has given me problems at the time of having conferences. I am very satisfied with the performance of BlueJeans.

Cons
The only thing that I would not be very happy with is the price of the license to use the software. For my criteria it could be a bit cheaper. But I think that for the quality of the product and its performance, it's worth the investment.

Pros

Cons
Nothing, it works as advertised and is a decent value for the price. We have no complaints about it.

Great as a webinar participant. We also consider using the paid version in the future.

Pros
I have personally only used it as a participant twice- and did a course on it as part of a Linkedin Learning bundle on webinar software. What I really like is the whiteboard function (great for interactive webinars), their event broadcast offer, and the fact that it streamed without malfunctions (unlike gotowebinar or zoom). I am on their mailing list, and also witness their efforts at constant improvement and innovation.

Cons
Well it is expensive, but that price also guarantees more safety (unlike zoom) and better streaming quality.

Pros
I think that overall blue jeans is relatively easy to use and offers decent integrations to your calendar to make things easy.

Cons
what it compensates on the ease of use it lacks in features (compared with the other alternatives) and session quality. I had found too many times that i had glitches, double booking of the same calendar meeting with 2 different links from bluejeans.

Interested Client disappointed with pricing

The Pros are that this product seems to do everything an expensive hardware based unified conferencing bridge will do. It will Interconnect with various types of video sessions and augment the existing investment companies have in existing Video Conferencing rooms. The biggest negative is the final pricing is something that is withheld until you actually get a salesperson to speak with you. Then you discover that it is not the cost savings that would warrant taking that final leap into purchasing it. Simply because you can setup a small computer in your existing Video Conference room and invest in other solution like Join.me or ClearSlide or WebEx etc etc and use the PIP features of existing A/V equipment to still keep your initial investment and have another screen sharing option available is needed. The existing bridging solution already out in the world like Providea or Interconnect is priced competitively on a per use basis cheaper than a Bleujeans annual contract . Which for the business segment Bluejeans is targeting, SMB's, is probably a better option since the amount of time they will actually use a video conference that requires pulling outside clients in is very rare. If Bluejeans really wants to compete in a market where other offerings are doing almost all of the same things with the exception of video bridging...for the moment... then they need to be aggressively competitive on pricing which means the $10 to $50 per user per month range is what they need to actually target and they need to announce it on their website instead of requiring a call to get prices in a way where the client walks away thinking "did I actually get the best deal possible". This is like actually walking into a car dealership where everyone has to haggle and no one gets the same price.

From my perspective, this is one of my favorite software I have used to reach people and talk about business matters in the most comfortable way possible, thanks to both the visual and audio outstanding quality. I do recommend.

Pros
What I am amazed about is the quality of the image, which has a great dynamic range, and also the quality of the sound when using BlueJeans Video Communications for our business conferencing. I have used it for more than a hundred of online business meetings to talk to investors, partners and staffs and a really very satisfied. Highly user-friendly user interface!

Cons
There are many video conferencing providers and many offer much better pricing than BlueJeans. From this standpoint, I find BlueJeans Video Communications a little expensive.

Overall Bluejeans is a good alternatives to the other popular Video Conference brands. Price is decent and the Sales are extremely helpful to assist setup

Pros
Overall, I find Bluejeans has a very clear audio compare with other solution like WebEx. However, I do not think the video quality is very good, although it is decent. I also like the fact that it can integrate with our current Cisco meeting room setup without issue Also, the mobile app is extremely light weight and easy for our client to dial in without issue. Reasonable cost and it also has different price plan for different business size

Cons
The host of the meeting will always have to start from a full size Desktop version which I find a bit trouble. Also, a big problem is that Bluejeans is not a well known name in this business and hence not all callers has it installed on their phone/computer and that is a bit an issue (unlike popular choices like WebEx)

My overall experience is excellent. It is highly recommended to all the organization who remains on excessive travel and those who work from home. Even education institutes can get much benefit from this. It has very reasonable price, which depends on the number of users, so everyone can afford it.

Pros
BlueJeans is a wide platform that provides video communication services. I have conducted many meeting sessions and even participant can join us in already running session, with causing any disturbance, it is very easy to login, no coding or tough steps are involved. By the end of meeting sessions we can send the recording to our team members, in this way if some team members are not present at the spot, they can listen to the recording.

Cons
While using BlueJeans Two times I have faced the issue of connectivity while giving the command of screen sharing. Also I feel it should provide clear insight of the outlook, so that better scheduling of the meetings could take place. Otherwise I am getting great services.

I have never had an issue during an of these meetings with BlueJeans and typically find that participants access the system with ease. Overall, if price is not an issue, I would recommend BlueJeans to businesses who video conference on a semi-regular to regular basis.

Pros
BlueJeans, overall, has an incredibly professional looking interface. This includes e-mails sent to participants, as well as what participants see when they join. BlueJeans sound, in my experience, has always been extremely clear. Another major pro is that it is fairly easy to setup, and to use on the go (although I found Zoom easier to use on cell phones). Monitoring meetings is also incredibly easy, with admin being able to monitor meetings from their own computer, even if they’re not part of the meeting itself.

Cons
BlueJeans is rather expensive. In addition, the video is sometimes not as clear as Zoom. This could be due to participant connectivity, not BlueJeans, but I think it’s worth noting to potential consumers.

Pros

It has superb video and audio call quality and the best part is that service is always up and running, there are very few disconnections. The feature i fancy the most is that 150+ people can join a call, so we can add our entire department as well as remote teams in a meeting.

Cons

Advertised Pricing is very Misleading

Reviewed 2014-08-01

Whilst this might be a great product with lots of appeal, the pricing structure is not readily available and what is available of the pricing structure gives the impression that it is obtainable at $10 per user per month. However after you waste a whole lot of time and finally get a sales person on the line only to be told that the minimum price is $990 per month it gets to leave a very sour taste in your mouth having wasted a bunch of time researching a service that is way out of the price range of most SMB's . Thanks Heaps Blue Jeans for your Misleading sales practise.

Response from BlueJeans

Sorry you had a confusing experience with our pricing. But thanks for the high marks on the product itself. As you have probably surmised, the BJN service is not designed to be a budget or no frills consumer solution. It is intended for businesses in need of the combination of high quality video, high reliability, broad reach to participants all over the world, and unmatched interoperability to connect any combination of mobile, desktop, and conference room systems from multiple vendors. For customers in need of a mission critical business collaboration tool it provides tremendous value, but it is not designed for everyone. We hope you find an adequate solution for your needs and thank you for considering Blue Jeans.
