We love using this product because it has created some huge efficiencies for the admissions teams we work with.
The most helpful feature of this product for us is the SUPER SIMPLE integration with our automations in ActiveCampaign.
I would say the biggest area of improvement is the reporting. I would like to see a few more reporting capabilities. Also, I have wanted to download our recorded messages to send for approval, and the system was giving me an error, however, I reached out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] over chat and he is always EXTREMELY quick to respond and help me out.

Its a great tool to keep everyone in the loop. Especially when team members aren't always at their email.
Its like email so its easy to communicate and make sure everything is clear but it is a separate application. You can in a way pin things so that they are accessible to all.
There is a bit of a learning curve but if you are comfortable using other applications we're talking like 5 minutes or so.

Using software to keep all discussion and files on a project in one place, eliminating many emails and confusion on file versions or status on projects.
Reduces volume of emails and file locations to one single place for all shared information. Improves collaboration among team members by allowing users to stay in the loop with less effort.
Layout isn’t always conducive to organized discussion, but flexible enough to overcome this.

Good for everything except video call. Other software/ computer efficiency suffers when call in on.
Easy and widely used in big organisations
Video calls, with camera on, the sound and video are really bad. Affects computer efficiency badly when on video call.

My role is very client-focused so I am often on a call with either co-workers or speaking to clients. I appreciate Teams for having all-in-one features but do feel that it can be more seamless and intuitive as it pertains to where buttons are located and how easily accessible they are.
I appreciate that the software includes chat, calls, and video meetings in one place. It's easy to stay on track with conversations and meetings.
The call feature can be confusing. in order to make a call, I have to press a few buttons before being able to make the call. I think the call button should always be accessible by one-click.

During the COVID period, it was a fast setup experience when one of the customer we support insisted we have to use Microsoft teams, I signed up real quick and in 5 minutes all was set for the meeting.
Teams provides a one stop shop for work collaborations that easily helps keeping people in the loop and informed through integration to mails. The compatibility with mobile devices makes it possible to work virtually from anywhere
The integration with one note for taking meeting notes hasn't been well integrated with teams hence slowing down the uptake when compares to its counter part skype

Teams has helped us organize committees, get quick answers via chat, and stay up-to-date with file sharing. It has been an invaluable tool in organization and was easy to implement in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This product is easy to set up, maintain, and use. Anyone with a Microsoft 365 account can be added to Teams. Our team has been using it throughout the Covid-19 shutdown as our primary source of communication.
This product lacks free telephony or call-in features. Call-in features can be added, but for a cost. Other products allow call-in without an additional charge.

Another channel to communicate with my team, but more quickly than email or walking over to their desk.
Microsoft Teams allows you to stay connected to work (when needed) from the computer OR mobile device. My office will sometimes have group webcam meetings to include employees that are remote, which is helpful to keep them in the loop.
Microsoft Teams is your average IMing system. It works to message people, but there's not anything particularly special about it. One of the things I don't like about it is sending files. You can be sent a file, but then trying to get it to actually download and finding that file will take you another 5 minutes. Sometimes I'll go to send a file and I'll check back later to see it was never actually...

I love how easy it is use. I started a new job, sharing screens to train was a life saver! Working remotely and all from home—Microsoft teams was our way of communication for meetings, training and communication.
I really have no complaints. Sometimes I wouldn’t receive a call but, get a notification for a missed call.

I have found this useful in communicating with colleagues. I enjoy that you have the ability to create a folder where you can share files with a group. This has been helpful for my team and I to share notes or collaborate on a file. I also enjoy that there is a section where you can search for gifs to add to a conversation. I enjoy this more than the previous software we were using for communicating and would highly recommend.
I like that there are different ways to use this software such as for instant messaging, phone call, or video call.
I don't like that it is not easy to figure out how to delete a chat that you no longer need saved in your recent section.

I love using this software daily and I think it makes it extremely easy to talk to anyone within the company
I love being able to send gifs and reactions to messages in a group as well as being able to have individual chats, calls and group messages going on at the same time
Sometimes the call quality can deteriorate once a big group is on a call and someone tries sharing a screen

Overall I feel that Microsoft Teams is a software that has potential, however there are too many flaws at the moment. I am not too satisfied when using Microsoft Teams and sometimes it gets frustrating. Ease of use definitely has to be improved first, before it can compete with other similar products in the market.
The best part of this software is the ability to store files under a separate tab, and we can switch between the chat and the documents tabs. This allows us to find related documents easily, such as the presentation slides.
It is not user-friendly. When I am in a call, and I navigate to the chat or document tab, the video call just disappears and it takes me significant time to find out how to switch back to the call. Moreover, the solution to switch back to the call is by "joining" the call again, which does not make sense to the user.

this is very user friendly and love that i can set up meetings.
love that I can set up meetings with other co-workers. Have an option to have a voice call or video call.
Sometimes the voice feed can be echoed and sometimes we will have to disconnect and connect back in order to have better reception.

Since we are working from home now it is harder to stay in touch throughout the day but with Teams it helps us stay connected throughout the day.
Each day my team gets on a call and Teams it makes it easy to get everyone on the call without any hassle.
I don't have any cons about the product to report so far. It's easy to use and make calls to team members or multiple team members.

Currently we have migrated some of our teams at work from a sharepoint team site to Teams - which has a lot more increased functionality.
We already use the office suite at my company and I like that this software integrates well with existing programs - for example sharepoint. It's really easy to organise teams at work and keep everyone in the loop regarding updates, files, to-do lists.
Some of the add-on tabs are not that intuitive to set up and use therefore they are not useful to me.

I have thoroughly enjoy the use of this, as well as the ease of it
The fact that you are able to step into a virtual meeting with so much ease. During the SA Lock down, this has been phenomenal.
The sound of the call or video call can be slightly distorted at times, slight delays with a video call as well but i am using that is related to the internet connection being used at the time

We have built "On-Call Teams" so users from around the world can use their mobile devices and call the "On-Call Team" and whichever member of the team is online at work can answer the call. We have built multiple project boards to maintain large IT projects. Team members are now working 100% remote and are more productive thanks to MS Teams.
Project boards, tasks, chats, and multiple meeting options have changed the way we do business. We are better able to manage our teams that are spread out around the world and keep up with when items are due and what items may need more attention.
The integration with Outlook Calendar can be a bit buggy at times if meetings are moved, especially if they have to be moved multiple times. Also the fact that users can click "join" on a meeting that is days away and notify all attendees of the meeting that it has been started can be confusing.
