Almost perfect texting app!

Pros

I love the ease of use of the interface, importing mass contacts, and the ability to export bounced messages.

Cons

I wish the platform made it a little more intuitive to add a new solo contact with additional information while composing a message. For example, when I type a new phone number, I'd like it to prompt me for the person's name and other information right from within the compose window.

The drip messages and auto scheduler has really been the best part.

There is a tiny learning curve but customer support is always there to help you and the live chat feature is great!

Beware: Your Unused Credits Expire!

So say for example, you own more than one restaurant and you need more than one account to sent out messages- you would have to have two separate accounts with this platform.

Pros

It's relatively easy to learn how to use and the customer service chat works very quickly.

Cons

When I called to try and figure out where all of my missing credits were, they offered to add the equivalent of $25 back to my account.

Cons

EZ Texting is a very straight-forward, intuitive tool for sending SMS text messages. I would like to see it allow more texts to be sent on a monthly basis for free, but love using the tool.

Capable but currently limited in functionality

Had high hopes for use of platform but with continued testing it just wasn't fully functional as presented. Long code texting is misrepresented in their presentation; it's not available platform wide and can't be used where it counts most; in campaigns. Be careful and fully test during the free trial period. I got charged and tested the software beyond the trial period. And requested a refund after experiencing the limited functionality but EZ Texting would not refund. Skipio is much better.

Pros

Learning curve for software use was rather easy

Cons

Short code is less personable. 3)Long code messaging only available for 1 on 1 communication. 4) Feature to include a video in text message is laughable - allowed video file size is too limited for the feature to be useful.

Pros

You can set it up, populate contacts and send a message to your contacts in fewer than 15 minutes.

Cons

Some people's phones or carriers won't allow them to receive the texts.

The interface is easy to use and the features are good. Their mobile iOS app is great to use alongside the web interface.

Cons

Even on the PAID plan, there are still some things that are not unlocked without paying even more. Some of the documentation about the BASIC PAID plan was misleading.

Account Manager & Support are VERY responsive. Called back on a Saturday when our cap # texts was exceeded.

Overall great; I feel I have simplified a process that I was spending way too much time on and I love that I can use QR codes and a cod word to sign folks up for updates.

Pros

Integration-uploading all my customers accounts from an excel file was easy.

Cons

My only complaint is that when I got to start a new message (1 on 1), and I start typing the contacts name it will pull up everyone but that contact whether I capitalize their name or not.

It serves the purpose that we need it to serve. We needed software that could send our texts from our internal system and this software can do that.

Pros

We can use this software to schedule our text sends to a large number of people at once. Our sends are based on automation that we have internally. This software give us the ability to do that.
