Easy and Reliable Phone Conferencing Solution

All complaints about UI aside, the best part of FreeConferenceCall.com is its simplicity. It's quick and easy for anyone with basic phone experience (i.e. almost everyone)—we call in, we enter a PIN, and then we're conferencing). What's more, it's reliable. We haven't experienced a single instance of needing to use the service and it not being available. While other conferencing solutions offered more features, FreeConferenceCall.com won out for us due to its ease-of-use, pricing structure, and consistency/reliability.

Pros

FreeConferenceCall.com's consistency and reliability are the most important aspects of its offerings. Our team has used FreeConferenceCall.com every Wednesday morning for the last three years. After an initial account setup that took maybe 10 minutes, we have been able to use the service without fail week over week. We call in to the same number every week, enter the same PIN code, and we get to enjoy free, clear communications with our entire team no matter where they are. There are many conferencing solutions out there, but FreeConferenceCall.com has been the most reliable, easiest-to-use platform we've ever experienced.

Cons

The user interface isn't great, if I'm being honest. We actually just learned that there are several really great features (video conferencing, recording features, etc) that would have been awesome to know about a year or two ago, but the platform doesn't do a great job of messaging those options clearly. It seems like a non-answer to say the thing I like least is the fact that they have more features than I realized, but this really is a negative for me. There have been many times since we started using FreeConferenceCall.com when a video and recording solution would have made our lives better, and instead we had to find other, more expensive alternatives simply because the extent of FreeConferenceCall.com's feature offerings weren't clear.

Great Software at a good price

It was positive - we used it for a few years until we needed more functionality that FCC did not offer.

Pros

The two things that I loved most about FreeConferenceCall is the great pricing and the ease of use functionality. It was great for the small business and it worked great.

Cons

What I liked least was that it did not have some of the features the other major competitors offered.

Great conference solution for small businesses

With spotty cell phone service, I needed a web-based solution that would allow me to easily schedule meetings that could accommodate multiple attendees through Outlook and freeconferencecall.com has been the perfect solution for those needs.

Pros

Free Conference Call is a great solution for small businesses wanting an easy, affordable option for web based conference calling. The Outlook add-in makes scheduling a conference call quick and easy. It even offers a mobile app to schedule and join calls on the go.

Cons

Some larger organizations' firewalls occasionally block the freeconferencecall.com plug-in from working correctly. Other than this snag, I have not had any issues with the conference call software.

A functional and noble software.

There is a lot goodabout this software that can be explored to give the best online meeting experience.

Pros

Free Conference Call both a web and phone application is the most functional virtual conferencing platform with a great host of features accessible at no cost. I have used it multiple times to host long duration meetings with close to 1000 users. As a giveback to all its functionalities, one can opt to make some donations that go to charities. I find this quite noble.

Cons

There is little to complain about. However, the looped jazzy music that plays before any other persons joins the meeting can be irritating. To stop it, I play back some audio via the broadcaster.

I Wish It Really Was FREE

The biggest value of using FreeConferenceCall is everyone can collaborate at the same on ideas even though we are spread apart by several miles. It is convenient, easy, and accessible to everyone on our team.

Pros

FreeConferenceCall.com is quite user-friendly and many of the participants have no issues with the service. The service provides substantial participation for up to 100. The screen sharing functionality is top notch and participants have stated that the service is easy to use.

Cons

The biggest con I have with this service is that it is NOT free for everyone. I have many participants who join remotely and even though the number is supposed to be free, their mobile service does not allow them to call the number. Many times they are charged an additional fee to call.

Pros

It's FREE! This is my favorite conference call/screen sharing software. It is always free and just works.

Cons

If I have to have a con, I think having the word "free" in the company name sounds a little off-putting. I don't want my customers to think I'm cheap, but this software really does work!

It works great and I use it as my back-up system

I have used it for 12+ years. Initially, I used it a lot and in the last years, I have reduced to only using it in emergency situations.

Pros

It's free, and it is very easy to set up. They have a very simple platform and it is great that you can have multiple conference call numbers.

Cons

I actually stopped using this regularly because I did not want my clients to think that I was too cheap to have a paid service.

Overall, FreeConferenceCall.com is software that I would highly recommend. It's an extremely easy feature to use, and all those years ago, it was very simple, quick and easy to set up and begin using. I like that you just retain the conference call code, and provide it and the number to call to the other people that will be attending the conference call. It gives a great platform for all parties to come together in a reliable, straight forward platform. Good pricing packages as well.

Pros

I really like FreeConferenceCall.com. I've used it for years. I like that it keeps your phone number confidential, so if you use your personal phone number for conference calls if you're on the go, etc. you are secured and your privacy is kept in tact. Super simple to use and set up the conference call sessions.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything that is bad about this software. I've been able to use this software for years and have never had a technical problem, and have never had to contact customer support.

Cost effective and offers an advantage in communication! We depend on it and it has never let us down!

Pros

This service is so easy to use! Never any down time, it's secure and extremely affordable! We use it on a daily basis and sometimes multiple times per day. In healthcare, communication is of the essence and this service helps connect staff which assists with keeping everyone on the same page and update with the needs of our patients.

Cons

What's not to like! There is a limitation the number of users but our organization has never surpassed the limits.

Pros

The ease of use and quality of sound is amazing. We have paid for products that didn't give us the same quality as we are getting from this service. And although we are not using if for anything other than the simply phone conferencing capabilities, we are more than please with the service that we are being provided with. It a bigger plus that we know that we don't have ever switch products when we are ready to expand.

Cons

We are totally in love with this software. As I said earlier, the quality, service, and value are unmatched in the market as far as we are concerned.

Great online conferencing and teaching platform

I think this is a great no-frills way to teach and/or meet with others virtually.

Pros

It's very easy to get set up with FreeConferenceCall. I've used it for video meetings and for teaching webclasses. It has very generous allowances and the fact that it is free to low-cost (if you need additional features you can pay for them at a nominal cost) makes it a great alternative to other platforms.

Cons

It would be great to have registration forms. Also, I've had difficulty figuring out which links to share vs links to sign in and run my classes.

We used for calls and for an occasional all company meeting with remote staff logging in.

Pros

We used the audio and video product for many years. It was easy to use and worked well. The price is free and we never had any real issues.

Cons

When the pandemic hit we needed a more robust product. Hence we migrated to paid Zoom. The feature set works well for calls and video conferences but lacks scheduling, invites, etc.

It's FREE! This was a godsend when I was at a bootstrapped startup and needed to be doing conference calls on a regular basis.

Cons

The slightly cheesy hold music is both good and bad, but when customers hear that you're using freeconferencecall.com, it can work against you and make it so they don't take you seriously. Not really a major issue, but one to consider if you're a small company and trying to present yourself in a certain way.

that it has no limitations as of length of meeting. it´s easy to use

At the beginning the announcements were quite annoying (whenever you mute/unmute someone, when someone enters or leaves the call...) until I found out what box to check to omit the announcements

FREE + Ease of Use + Features

It has been simple to pick this up and start using it with my business without missing a beat. My clients to whom I've recommended Free Conference Call have had nothing but positive things to say about it. I'm thrilled with it and unless some competitor comes out with something substantially better and free, AND gives me some compelling reason to give them a try, my loyalty will stay with FreeConferenceCall.com. They're that good.

Pros

As the name implies, it's free, but on top of that, the list of features is incredible: audio and video conferencing, the ability to record calls so that they can be played back later, screen sharing, and I know it's silly, but the ease of understanding the dial in info for domestic vs. international callers, and for hosts vs. participants is so easy to understand and communicate to others. I feel like most other services make it way more complicated than it needs to be. Also, the quality of the audio and video on these calls is superb.

Cons

I couldn't tell you one thing I have found negative in using this service for hosting calls with my clients. It's consistently a quality experience and I actually recommend this as an alternative to unnecessarily expensive and clunky audio/video conference platforms.

Its free and a conference call

Freeconference call. com replaced a way more expensive service provided by our phone company with no loss of quality or service.

Pros

We dropped our phone service provided conference line after using Freeconference call. com for 1 call. Having a dedicated number without codes is super helpful for our organization (most staff have it memorized by now).

Cons

We'd had occasional drops, or outages with the phone number, but they were only temporary and we had a second number.

For a small business looking to control costs, this is a very useful tool for conference call communications and it doesn’t cost a dime!

Pros

Totally free. We use this service for our weekly team conference calls plus I use it with our clients when we have the need to involve more than two parties. Very simple dial in process. Has proven to be reliable and not let us down despite being totally free.

Cons

It’s hard to complain about the functionality of free conference call software.

Basic conference calls work 85% of time

The support is "OK"; they'll follow up and offer possible solutions after the fact, but had to cancel more than one call when someone wasn't able to use the number and access codes to get into the call.

Pros

The price is right for the basic features. You get a dedicated dial in number and access code which makes setting up calls simple.

Cons

Too often have technical difficulties - attendees dial in and are not put into the call or are put into the wrong call. Audio quality is also spotty - not reliable and frustrating for critical business applications.

You can't beat the price!

The customer support is timely and effective! Nice, well informed staff.

Pros

Its FREE! I can record audio files of my meetings that obviate the need for written minutes. Easy call-in numbers and codes that don't change meeting to meeting make it easy for my Board members to join in. I like having a record of users' actual time on a call- espially if I am offering a continuing education class - it allows me to confirm and prove that participants attended the entire class.

Cons

The screen sharing and recording features are tough to learn, but once mastered, work great.

This is a great option for when you need to set up a meeting with someone who does not use the same conference call system that your organization does. Anyone can use it and its FREE! It's easy to set up an account and create conference calls and share the dial in with others.

Cons

I have never encountered any issues with this software and am impressed for a free product how much it has to offer.

One of my best online meeting software.

Adding Q&A queue is just an awesome addition. I can now answer all the Q&A one by one and it is free of cost which is one of the best feature. And it is affordable. All the addons are really awesome and it did exactly what it offers. I don't have to contact customer care and which is really an awesome experience.

Pros

This is one of the simplest ready to go hosted online conference call. I started my conference call within 10min after registering. Installed desktop application and chose the mic and headphone port and start conferencing. The ability to mute all with one click is just simplified all my work. It is my new favorite tool for collaboration and training.

Cons

The only con is 1gb of limited space for a month.

Love the price and reliability

It allows more structured conference calls than just calling on the phone and at a price that can't be beaten.

Pros

I have found this an easy way to do conference calls without having access to an organization conference call subscription. It is reliable and haven't had any issues with lag or delays.

Cons

Some of the features seem to lag behind the largest players in the segment, but I rarely need those features for small conference calls.

Basic But Worth It!

Very simple. You can use this tool to make free or inexpensive conference calls.

Pros

Enables free or low cost conference calls. A very basic tool without all the bells and whistles. When you just need a conference line this is the tool to use!

Cons

The flip side of being basic is you do not have a lot of different optional services. Personally I like the basic tool, but some people want a Swiss Army Knife.
