It's a nice integrated way to stay connected.
I use Jive to connect me to my desk phone when I'm not in the office. It helps me stay connected to the phone traffic, emailing me when I have voicemails, and allows me to listen to them even right from my laptop. It helps me stay connected to that arm of business when I'm stuck in meetings.
I'm not sure if they don't have the capability, or if it is a feature we don't have - but I would love to have the voicemails translated to text so I can see them in my email. Then I'd have the option, on the go, to respond to those voicemails with text or email.

Pricing was very affordable. For our size of company and the growth we've experienced, the Jive staff has been great working with us to lock-in pricing and help us grow when more accounts are needed.
If you're calling through your computer or phone app, you will have a lot of dropped calls. Many of our reps use the app on the phone (or call through their computer) and report a horrible quality expereince and many dropped calls, with some switching to their old Google Voice number to complete the call. We've called Jive Support for help but the action taken has been very slow and to much avail.

We found this system when we were looking for a new phone vendor last year. We like the phones we get through them, and they are very constructive and helpful when we're trying to solve issues (like adding new clients and new phone trees). They work to make sure our IT person understands what's available so he can administer most of it for us. When the power is out or something happens and we need to switch trees they do it for us on the fly (usually 2-5 minutes).
This is SO easy to setup and administer. We can build different phone trees for different clients or different needs and implement those as we need to. Customer Service is very nice and quick--they fix most things on the fly.
We can't set up different ring tones for different companies, but so far that's been the primary "con." The system is easy to use and Customer Service is great.

I would not say we are solving per say a problem. But the support and software has been great.
Love that you can use it on your phone via the app, just as if you would be in the office. Also, customer support is pretty amazing. They have always solved my problems.
It is tough to find where what is in the admin portal. There is a lot of options, so it takes a while going through it all. I personally do not use it often enough to be really familiar.

Ease of modifying the system to do what we need to do. It's just a few clicks away and several of us can do it. It's not like it is a one man show.
The ACD capabilities leave out some options that we would like to see. Particularly the hunting option of Linear Priority hunting, where I can assign who gets the first and next call. I use people with different jobs as overflow. So I only want them to get the call if others are busy.

This phone service was recommended to us by a company we work with and has been perfect for our needs. Customer service is very good as well.
This software has allowed me to work from home and also be responsive to customers and employees while out running errands etc.
*Occasional* difficulty with customer not hearing my initial greeting--may be dependent on where I am answering from.

I would recommend GoToConnect as a reliable soft phone app. I have not had any issues with using the applications.
GoToConnect has been super helpful since I have been away from my office phone for months. The app is easy to use over WiFi. I use the app on both my laptop and phone and they are both reliable for answer calls and checking voicemails.
I wish that the do not disturb settings had more options instead of simply on/off. If I am on vacation for an extended period I will turn off notifications on my phone; but it would be helpful to set the notifications based on time of day. I frequently receive calls outside of office hours and wish that it did not disrupt me when I am using my phone for personal use.

The software is easy to use. However, if one is in need of assistance, or diagnostic for an issue, customer service has always been good at resolving any issues or assisting me in diagnosing issues that may not be Jive related.
There are little to no cons associated with this system short of some occasional interference or disruption of service due to internet service providers. The online portal could be a bit more simplified.

Overall, very pleased. We use Jive to power our VOIP conference phones and to create a system of phone extensions for all our employees without needing any local infrastructure. It does both very cost effectively.
Jive provides very good value for money for a small business like mine and also offers very helpful customer support to set up new phones and troubleshoot problems.
The web interface for managing Jive is somewhat labyrinthine and is generally difficult to navigate and use. The way the different constructs (extensions, phone lines, devices, etc.) are organized and managed is often cryptic.

Great experience so far. Any questions I've had have been answered quickly. The support team knows their stuff.
Setting up the call flow was really easy. I've used a few other VOIP call center programs before and this was by far the easiest to set up and use.
In my opinion, the scheduling feature needs to be a little more complex. Simply having open, closed, or holiday is useful but it would be great if there were special scheduling options that allowed for specific call routing at odd times My company is small and occasionally we are all in a meeting so it would be nice if there was a mode or special scheduling option that could be implemented during those times that did not require us to change the call flow in the dial plans.

Jive is easy to use. There is an app that is super helpful especially for people working from home. The online system is very intuitive. Customer service is AMAZING! Our phone systems always work and having Jive means there is one less thing to worry about!
I wish they had more hold music options, although I believe there is an option to upload your own.

Our overall experience with Jive Voice has been clean and we are pleased that this was the one we chose.
Jive Communication is one of the easiest communication software that I have seen. It is easy to login and make any changes that is necessary.
Sometimes it is a little bit difficult to navigate and figure out where some of the changes that might need to be made can be found.

I have no issues with the functions or the cost for Jive. Our organization has benefited from using Jive!
Jive gives you so many functions as to what devices receive your work calls. You can use it on the desktop/laptop, your phone, or a third-party landline phone. It makes making and receiving calls for work simple and easy. There are a lot of great functions in the app as well!
The integration with Google Chrome and Mac Computers could use some updating. I often have to re-login to my account to set up what devices my calls should be forwarded to.

Graphical IVR setup makes it simple to create a professional IVR. Full control over extensions, lines, voicemail, routing, and more make it a full-featured cloud-based phone system. Exceptionally good voice quality, availability, and support
While I haven't done any extensive search since initial purchase, the cost per user is a little higher than I had before a prior merger into Jive.

Jive has been great so far. I had no experience setting up a VOIP system previously or being an administrator and I was able to learn it fairly fast. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a cost-friendly easy solution.
The software is really easy to get a hang of. Everything is explained in a simple manner that any user can understand. The dial plan editor is fantastic. You can put together a comprehensive system incredibly fast. The setup Wizards are also fantastic, quick and easy to use.
Although the software lays things out in simple terms I still get confused on the differences between users, devices, hardware, lines and extensions. It can be tricky to know which one to reference when you need to make changes.

We are using it to replace old PBX systems and our customers are very happy! They enjoy all of the features and the reliability.
The simplicity of Jive is one of it's best features. It's also jam packed with features and extremely reliable. We use Jive as our exclusive VOIP service for all of our clients.
The only thing I've had issues with is the intercom feature. It's a bit of a hassle to set up.

The customer service at Jive is AMAZING! I don't even dread calling when there is an issue. The support team is extremely patient, understanding, and honestly care that your problem is resolved. I wish all vendors had the same quality of customer service!!
Given that it's internet based, when the power goes out the phones go out. That comes with the territory though.

This is the second time I have used Jive is a medium sized company installation. Jive was able to beat everyone on price for both the month reoccurring as well as the phone equipment. It is a great system to maintain and has virtually all the features you could need.
All the functionality a business could want COMES WITH the basic services. The web portal is easy to use and the technical support is ready, willing and able to assist if you hit a road block. Jive was also able to supply new high quality name brand phones. Jive also can support fax machines which most VoIP providers do not. This is a big savings over the old copper line.
If you are not a technical person you may need to call Jive to support. The support however is free and easy to reach so it isn't terrible.

It's not been outstanding. Support is hit or miss, service is definitely hit or miss.
The portal has great functionality. It's mostly a clean GUI, but it has several access points for various functions -- making many functions more complicated than they could be.
I like the flexibility of Jive Mobile/Desktop, etc. When everything works right, the system is largely brand-able and customizable.

Cost savings, ability to use our existing VOIP phones, Call recording feature.
Call recording and the ability to have the recordings go directly to our AWS S3 bucket. Easy Dial Tree setup to have calls go where they need to.
There is not much that I do not like. Maybe that the soft phone feature's connectivity is sparse, but that could be because of my cell phone provider or the WiFi connection.

A user-friendly platform, unlimited lines, able to preset office hours and after hours emergency line, so many helpful features!
There was a slight learning curve with the platform and features, I did need to make a few calls for support to figure out certain things

I can manage all of my agent's phone calls and their effectiveness. I can see how many times they miss a call, and it helps track how well they are doing their jobs.
If a call is missed, it will oftentimes get stuck in the queue. It will not allow anyone to end up taking the call at all.

Ease of logging call history with CRM integration.
Once set up, with wonderful onboarding assistance, the system has been on autopilot! The few times I have needed support, the assistance was great!
I don't have anything I don't like about the experience related to Jive. Our only issue has been with our router which is owned by our internet service provider. Unfortunately updates reset some configurations. I'm looking into a Jive provided router to alleviate this uncommon but nonetheless annoying INTERNET PROVIDER issue.
