The fact that it's online and our company users can collaborate across the country. We have a remote sales team and they were able to utilize the JIVE app on their company cell phones. It keeps everyone connected.
The online portal is not as user friendly as it should be. We envisioned that it would be more intuitive. It's a bit complex and needs some reading in either the help manuals or a phone call to adjust most things in the portal.

My experience with this company was probably the worst experience you could have with any company.
I didn't like a single thing about this company. The phones were delivered late, then the incorrect amount of phones, set up and assistance was non-existent. Out of the two dozen times I contacted them for help, the person on the other end of the line was of absolutely no assistance and was only interested in pimping out a high survey score. Every contact had a survey attached to it...no matter how small.
The support staff was, basically, useless. The fact that everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, meant that I was on my own. The staff was only interested in getting high scores on surveys that were sent to you after every single contact.

Always there to make sure the customer is taken care of
Ease of use and their support. their staff is well trained and customer support is always going the extra mile to help out.
At first it was not configured properly, but it was mainly use error as I handle three different roles.

The equipment and service is great. The dashboard is user friendly. Customer service was very prompt and helpful with the setup.
Troubleshooting and setting up the plan and phones was a bit troublesome. Definitely not a system for my 72 yr old computer challenged co-worker.

Customer service is great! They are always ready to help us every time we have issues with our equipment or with billing or any questions we have.
The equipment could be better quality , we had issues with the equipment that we bought and had to send back to be replaced,

Jive is easy to manuever around the applicable. If there is a problem, I can usually get help from the support team. I like how the features are easy to get to.
I did experience some lose in the system. I always hate that since it happens when I actualy need it.

We have used Jive for at least 4 years now, and are quite happy. I LOVE how we can just take a phone, plug it into the internet, and no matter where we are, we have an office. This is particularly valuable as we continue our growth, so we move into larger offices frequently, including opening an office in Puerto Rico. Their customer service is as good as it gets, always prompt and easy fixes. And the sound quality is unbelievable, its like they are in the room with you! I have recommended Jive many times.
Only bad thing is every few months we have to unplug and replug in a phone to reboot it. And if internet goes down, so does the phone.

accessibility and mobility of use is definitely key. i like that if i'm away from my office i can use the app. and i like the newest upgrade of it making it easier to hear voicemails
sometimes glitchy. there are times when i use the app and it doesn't come in clear. also, when i try to listen to the voicemail and push play and then speaker it seems maybe my fingers are too big because it closes and stops the playback

It works beautifully in the background.
We found that the value for the money is clear. Once it is completely set up it works seamlessly.
It is not as intuitive as I would like. We only make small changes occasionally, and we go back in, the re-learning curve is great.

It has been good. Many team members use it default and have little to no issues and have access where ever they go.
Once the app is set up, it works great to access work calls when away from your desk or mobile in the office
Setting it up is not always straight forward. The difference between do not disturb and silence is not clear. Selecting one function will essentially not allow your desk phone to ring .

We now have more control over our schedule than with our previous provider.
Their customer service is great, the service they provide is very stable and easy to use and the user interface for the portal is extremely user friendly.
The only "hard" part about using this software was setting it up, but that's because we didn't have experience changing service providers. Jive was extremely helpful and made the process really easy.

Realized a great cost savings over the POT line service over broadband that we replaced. This is our first foray into IP phones and we waited until we could get fiber service before making the switch. LOVE being able to manage in the cloud!
Full featured yet clean interface. Easy to get familiar with. LOVE not having to have the PBX hardware on site.
The Chrome plugin is a little clunky. I go back and forth using it sometimes and disabling it for a while sometimes.

I use Jive for work and it works through our internet connection so I can continue my work without having to worry about missing calls.
I like that you don't have to download any software. It is easy to use and very intuitive.
The one downside that I can think of is that you always need to keep a browser tab open for it to work. That is the only caveat of not having to download any software. You do need to keep logging in and out of the call queue when you leave and return to your desk. It is not a huge inconvenience but it would be nice to have a toggle switch do the job if that is possible.

Affordable and functional alternative to a PBX.
Simple to use. It works Support either for technical problems or other issues is exemplary and fast.
Android app not nearly as good as iPhone app Would love for the password to be better integrated into the Apple Keychain.

The automation and the features available with the system are great. We are in a remote location with a very old telecommunication switch so phone features were not available to us until we moved to Jive.
Off shore help desk result in different ways to set things up and depending on who you get will dictate how the changes you need will be applied. Because of this, we must call anytime we need a change.

I love Jive as a telephony solution. I m never unavailable anymore. It is seamless to our clients even when managing several different lines. Great product, and not only do I recommend it here, but I have also recommended it to friends who are now happy Jive customers too.
I love how fully featured the software is, its simplicity and reliability.
There are so many features it is simple to outthink yourself sometimes and make your all flows more complicated than they need to be. I do wish it integrated into our marketing automation software/CRM. Not really their fault, but would be nice not to manually log call anymore.

Generally works very well, but wish problems were easier to fix on my own.
The app was much easier to use than I expected. Haven't always had the easiest time using Jive so I was wary, but the app worked well.
Glitches when trying to switch from a different login, I was also not able to manage the logins myself very well. Seemed like I always had to call Jive to change something for me.

I have been able to save time with the click to dial feature. Also, when I have called customer support, for the most part they were knowledgeable on what I was needing, and always super friendly.
The best thing I have found with this is being able to click on a number on my computer and it dials to my phone. It saves time and the frustration of accidentally dialing the wrong numbers.
I haven't experienced any real cons with the software yet.

They have several options to utilize with voice mails.
Every time that I call someone is always able to help me with my dial plan, its nice they can remote in and take over and make changes for us.
The dial plan can be a bit confusing / overwhelming.
