Im a believer in O365

2019-02-28

(Teams vs Joinme and GotoMeetings) Combining all of it into one admin center is also a plus.

Pros

You get ALOT of software programs built into Office 365 and Microsoft just keeps adding. I was a little skeptical at first about an ongoing monthly cost vs buying it outright and upgrading every few years. However, this far surpasses a retail box product with cloud access as well as desktop, easy administration and addition of more software as needed. Add and subtract users as needed.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming because there is so much ability there. You need to just chip off pieces at a time. I have occasionally been surprised that local resellers dont have the skillset to support some of the products. it is hard to keep up with the rollout of new features.

Good for managing teams and meetings

2018-06-24

We have used many different products to facilitate group meetings over the years, from Join.Me and GoToMeeting, to Atlassian Hipchat and now Microsoft Teams.

Pros

We use this as solution in our office for holding team meetings with our offsite teammates. We moved to Teams from Hipchat because of issues with reliability of the video conferencing in the aforementioned software. Teams has been great allowing us to schedule and automatically create a recurring team meeting, which then 6-10 people can jump into and have reliably function including both audio and videos streams, from the US, Australia, Sweden, and Vietnam.

Cons

Not much negative to say about this software, it does one job for us and it does it very well. We have never had issues with video and audio streams or issues syncing. The integration into outlook calendars is great. Nothing bad to say really as long as you understand what you are using it for I do not believe you will be disappointed.
