Pros

It is easy to download and setup. The quality of sound is great and if you need to call in it is very easy.
My overall experience with GoToWebinar has been really satisfactory and it has been a good experience. The audio and video quality is good and the provided controls is also very useful.
The tools in the side really intuitive, I participate a lot in webinars and I'm grateful there is a platform that works perfect and allows us to have a great webinar experience.

Pros

What I enjoy most about Zoom is its ease of use, ability to record meetings, and its affordable price point.
The cost benefit is very good and ease of connection, I can share the screen during meetings, and excellent for my work.
The fact that it is easy to learn, as well as the quit and helpful response from customer service. I am glad it was recommended to me and I will continue to help others by doing the same.

Cons

I sent out the webinar registration confirmation with no password so I lost more than half my attendees and my business suffered because of it.
Every meeting I have had has had sound issues during which people are cut off or I miss what they are saying.
Poor video and call quality, was difficult to hear conversations properly due to a poor delay.

Cons

I think we were so overwhelmed by the zoom at this bad time that there is nothing to worry about.
If I do have problems sharing my screen, etc. then I have to typically leave zoom and re-enter the meeting. It always solves the problem but is an annoyance.
There has been a few times where Zoom doesn't work well with my internet and I'll randomly be dropped from calls with no warning.

The times I have used GtW have been pretty simple and straightforward. Still, it didn’t corner the market like Zoom—not entirely sure why! GtW has better security and customization features.

Pros

Go to Webinar fairly easy to use pre-Zoom.

Cons

Nothing— I actually think GtW is better than Zoom, despite Zoom being more prevalent.

GoToMeeting has been better than Zoom because of less problems with audio and video. I would recommend GoToMeeting more than Zoom.

Pros

So far in my experience in using GoToWebinar as a user has better quality and performance in audio and video than Zoom.

Cons

The software might be a little difficult to use compared to Zoom. Personally, i dont see it as user friendly as Zoom.

It looks more professional to users I think, because the automated lady speaking to prospect about what is happening.

Cons

The UI is confusing, and complicated, I prefer zoom, but our company still uses it for webinars. We are planning on changing to zoom or business hangouts.

Pros

Very easy to use. Only a few steps need to be taken in order to begin the webinar. We use this software in our workplace for having online meetings with vendors and it is very easy to see their computer screen as they walk us through their software. The audio quality is great as well. I highly recommend this software for the workplace!

Nothing comes to mind that I dislike about this software.

Everyone needs a software like this (whether you use Zoom, join.me, etc) but this has more features and better connection than Join.me, and is cheaper than Zoom, so it's pretty great!

Cons

Quick and simple way to conduct meetings and lectures

I like that GoToWebinar isn't just a business software. I've seen people use if for health webinars, for community webinars. It's more formal than Skype or Zoom, and the ability to record the Webinar is fantastic. I could really see this changing city council meetings, state and federal legislatures, crime and courts if people began to take advantage of it.

Pros

GoToWebinar is incredibly fluid and easy to use. You can create a profile for free, set up a meeting, lecture or webinar quickly and easily, push out invites to specific individuals or make the event open so attendees can join of their own accord. Attendees usually can review video after the fact too in case they miss the webinar, which is extremely helpful.

Cons

Honestly, nothing that comes to mind. This is the easiest way to have a meeting or webinar. I supposed the sound quality isn't as great as those who would prefer Skype or Zoom (Zoom has the best sound quality).

Overall I’ve had a positive experience. It serves it’s purpose to make training webinars accessible without the need to travel to a hotel or another state.

Pros

I enjoy using this platform for webinars better than Zoom. It seems more user friendly.

Cons

It would be great if it would integrate with Google calendar and allow for more 2-way conversations via chat.

Go to Webinar seemed to work really well for what we did, which was host informational webinars.

Cons

Most of our users were not familiar with it to the same degree they were with Zoom.

Pros

It was okay! I would use it again! But sometimes prefer the simplicity of Zoom

Pros

I like how clean and professional GoToWebinar looks for the client! It allows you to have a count down prior to the meeting and have chats going at the same time, even have collaborator in the webinar.

Cons

Sometimes the webinar screen is so far away and small... its hard to see what people are showing and it makes it hard to follow along with the content. I have had issues with it auto sending the recording to the client afterwards as well.

This software is easy to launch and get others on for powerful meetings. It has made my new meeting calendars filling up with more that phone meetings

Cons

I have now used this software for quite a while and have seem many upgrades and improvements over the past couple years and have been happy to see they keep improving features and functionality

Easy to learn as an admin. Easy to use for meeting participants.

Pros

Zoom has video meetings figured out. Features to automate sending of calendar invitations to registrants is lacking in competitor platforms. Ability to set auto-reminders as often as desired is a bonus. The biggest pro is the user experience.... even non-tech-savvy users find it intuitive. Zoom focuses on video meetings while other platforms seem bogged down in integrating their tools within a large suite, overlooking basic video meeting capabilities.

Cons

Polls don't appear on webinar recordings.

With Zoom, you can do a webinar, have meetings. During the webinar, you can do polles. Very versatile software.

Pros

Onboarding is very easy. You set your meeting ID and your password and you are good to go. The information can be easily shared on social media. If you don't have internet, you can have access via your phone. Also you can stream a Zoom webinar or meeting live on Facebook

Cons

In the free version, meetings have a maximum duration of 40mn. You have to restart again a new meeting. The free version is very limitated with few features

Pros

I love the ability to share my screen and record each session. I use Zoom to create informational webinars, to host conference calls and to create screen-capture videos. I also like that it captures registration information for you.

Cons

Don't be fooled into paying extra for the "webinar" feature: the basic conference call feature will create a webinar for you!

I use this product daily to schedule and attend meetings, occasionally host a webinar. I have never hosted a webinar before zoom

Pros

Zoom makes it really easy: -to schedule meetings -host webinars and save, record, email attendees after -has some bugs but eh, what software doesn't?

Cons

Theres probably no way around this, but the meeting IDs are always so long. The invites have so many numbers in them they are unappealing to look at.

Great product, and without equal in the videoconferencing space (for the price).

Pros

It's very easy and intuitive to use Zoom. The video and audio quality is great, and there are plenty of help files provided to get you up and running. Once you've learned the basics, it's a breeze.

Cons

Webinar add-on is pricey and not as full-featured as other competitors, so you're a bit limited using it as a webinar platform.
