Pros

If you do not have it installed, it makes it so easy by installing itself and bringing you to the interface screen that you need.

Cons

Sometimes the call in feature is annoying but more because of the user than the program.

Great option for streaming presentations

Pros

The organization I work for has recently started selling out for certain events due to the size of our conference room so we decided streaming the presentation for people so they could still be apart of it.

Cons

If you are only needing to conference call with a few people I would stick with gotomeeting.

Pros

It allows to record the session and use mobile device.

Cons

It was a little bit hard to setup in the beginning. I found it hard to update materials and create similar feels as your own page.

Cannot capture phone numbers from prospects who download recordings

However, GTW does not require a phone number in order to get the recording, so those prospects cannot be called.

Pros

Recurring meeting feature in the GoToMeeting suite is why I still use GoToWebinar.

Cons

Cannot really use the recordings for marketing, since it does not require a phone number to gain access.

You're able to share your screen in real time, chat with users and more.

Cons

Licenses are pricey. Other than cost everything works smoothly and I have never run into any road bumps.

It was excellent and then I don't know what happened

The webinar scheduling is super easy as well as monitoring the registration and other marketing related tasks, like following up after webinars.

Cons

I remember recording a webinar several weeks ago and the recording turned out to be horrible, as it somehow included the control panel as well as the questions asked, I hope it wasn't also broadcasted during the webinar...

I like that the camera doesn't turn on automatically when I sign on.

Cons

I am the admin assistant and need to record meetings for my boss, but need to remind them every single time to record the meeting, when I should be able to do it myself.

Good webinar solution but needs improvements

Set up webinars that resulted in many leads for clients. It integrates nicely with other software we are using, that's helpful!

Pros

Easy to set up a webinar, automate emails, and practice before you go live. Their customer support was splendid, although the problem I had couldn't be fixed.

Cons

You can't present with a video and then have a nice recording, the size will be too small.

Quick fast and easy online conference.

Pros

Can get participants in the meeting quickly and easy and it automatically records your session which I find to be the best thing about it.

Cons

Not many cons. Sometimes the voip is laggy and we have to dial in but its not that much of an issue for us.

Also, I make the recordings of these sessions available to the participants to replay later.

Cons

Private pop-up notifications when questions are received by attendees, I sometimes miss new questions if I'm viewing the attendee list.

Pros

I like being able to participate in webinars from anywhere by using this software. It's really nice to be able to take screenshots of slides.

Cons

Sometimes the call quality isn't great, but I don't know if that is something that is by fault of the software or the WiFi connection.

Great post meeting features i.e the report generation using Ms Excel and recording converting that allows for proper meeting minute generation.

We use it to host monthly webinars for about 100 attendees.

Contacts stay are linked between GoToWebinar and Hubspot. Less work to create list of attendees and send follow-up emails.

Pros

All of the people that sign up through a Hubspot landing page automatically get emails from GoToWebinar and added to a list.

Cons

It makes you recreate design of emails every time you create a new webinar.

Pros

We switched from another tool to GoToWebinar, and we are very pleased. The recording options are great, also the quality of the video and audio.

Cons

Auto-emails should be re-designed. they are very basic and "old".

The recent (late 2014) roll-out of an entire new feature set really brought GoToWebinar to the top of web conferencing usability.

Pros

GoToWebinar gets the job done, but setup and navigation are not the best.

We are able to use GoToWebinar for both customers and prospects for training and marketing purposes. We can easily host webinars with a relatively small team.

Pros

I also like the reporting that the provide with every webinar.

Cons

The actually GoToWebinar panel (when you're in the webinar) is touchy and some things are hard to see and use which can be especially frustrating when you are in the middle of a live webinar.
