Quality video conferencing made easy.

Outlook plugin has been handy to easily add conference information to the meeting request.

Pros

Have not experienced anything better for conference calls.

Cons

Issues with "infinite" update loop. On 2 separate occasions, after working fine earlier in the day, the HighFive software could not locate the MSVCP120.dll. As a result, I end up in an infinite update loop. I did not install / update / remove any other software on my machine in between HighFive working and not working. Using the script supplied by HighFive, doing an uninstall / reinstall (plus removing HighFive appdata folder) did not fix the issue. Both times, the app just started working again later in the day. As a result, I am always starting HighFive well in advance of a meeting, as I am never sure if it is going to work.

Not having a more prominent link on highfive.com for the software download was odd. I found it under https://success.highfive.com/hc/en-us/articles/204074009-Create-Or-Log-Into-Your-Highfive-Account. Possibly have something on the home page linked as: "Already a customer? Download software." would be helpful. Only became aware of this because I did not want to wait for the email from our help desk with the link to download software. Also possible that I just missed the link?

Great video conference tool for internal and external connectivity.

It's great connecting with remote employees to collaborate and even building rapport.

Pros

Can be used on a desktop PC/Mac or conference room system.

Cons

Occasionally it is difficult to connect to a call and 2 or 3 attempts are needed, but the effort is worth it.

Pros

This software is very good to make video calls, the quality of the call is awesome.

Sometimes the calls have some glitches and we need to exist and enter again in the call.

Setup was extremely easy, and clients are constantly impressed by the solution thinking it costs a lot more than it actually does.

- easy setup - ease of use - great quality video/audio

Cons

- providing call in numbers in advance of meeting would be a plus - toll free call in numbers would be great as some clients cant install the software due to enterprise restrictions.

My Highfive experience

I had spent countless hours in previous businesses fussing with dongles, cords in walls and other nonsense to effectively display and conference. Within five minutes of being introduced to HighFive., I was able to operate effectively and was impressed with its functionality.

Pros

How quickly it can be installed and in use, and how friendly the interface is to use.

Cons

Right now the only drawback is some glitching with the launch window, and requiring the user to click leave call instead of closing out the window.

The transition has been super easy. It's almost plug and play (so speaking).

Pros

The ability to go from Iphone to TV in conference room is great!

Cons

The feed does tend to be a little picky and goes in and out (but that could be our network at work). Other than those small issues, I really love the software

Perfect fit for a home office with multiple remote employees

Being a remote employee, my days used to be filled with muffled conference lines and disconnect with the home office.

Cons

There are a few more features I'd like to see added (like seamless transition from a meeting on my laptop to my phone without having to leave and rejoin the meeting). But that is really just nit picking. The tool does everything we need and more.

Highfive was purchased for our office as we have conference calls quite regularly but were lacking a software that offered consistent, clean video and ease of calling.

Pros

I really like how clean and pretty the interface is. It makes it enjoyable and easy to use.

Cons

Having been a FaceTime and Skype user for a long time, there was a little learning curve with how to use Highfive. But after playing with it a little and getting a short tutorial, it seems very straightforward.

- Has a camera you can mount to the top of your conference room TV - Screensharing is a must have and they do it very well - It's easy to invite people to join your call - Quality is fairly good a majority of the time - Has a Mac app and Chrome extension that work well together - Can easily share screen on a large TV in our conference room

Cons

- There isn't a "call in" number like there is in GoToMeeting, which makes it difficult for people who don't have a mic on their computer to call in.

Essential for collaboration in my workplace

Pros

Love the ease of use - this software makes it simple for me to interact face-to-face with team members at my company who work remotely. I also appreciate that all of this can be done without having to plug my computer into HDMI/VGA.

Cons

I wish more people could join video calls. My company has company-wide meetings every Friday, and in many cases, there are so people who can't join the call because of limitations on the number of participants.
