Outlook is a very capable calendar. You can create events and now it's connected with Team's calendar.
But I believe it can do more. Calendar is not connected with Planner, not with mail, not with other apps. It should do so much more. Now there are so many calendars from other services that offers automation, connectivity with other apps which are missing from outlook. I never understood why do I need two calendars. One in outlook and other in Teams.Microsoft should really give this product much more attention as it can become the central work hub for productivity seeker.

My overall experience is pretty good. There are some user issues I have, but it can always do what I need it to do as a sales rep.
Really extensive product that you can use to manager your time and communications. There's a nice calendar view that is very helpful when scheduling multiple person meetings.
The user interface isn't the best. It's pretty cluttered and not very intuitive. It's also difficult to track down the right settings to set up the dashboard the way you want it.

Overall the experience is great and our go to for checking my business emails as well adding our clients admin emails for their websites so we can have it all work from one system to make it easier to stay on top of any website issues as well as any critical updates etc that need to be done.
Setting up server based emails is simple and easy on outlook and unlike Gmail, their fetch rate is faster. We also get to determine for ourselves as a business what goes to spam and what stays in the inbox. It allows us to be in charge. We like the integrations with other software we use like Zoom and Calendly. Also mobile access is a plus for when we are on the run. Integration with Hub Spot is also very useful. We also like that we have a booking system in place that will allow us to schedule our free appointments.
The online browser version is different from the App and this is annoying. Once you get accustomed to the computer App the online browser based version seems clunky and inefficient. It would be great if we could get stats on our emails as well as if it auto added or asked if would like to add contacts that we email several times.

Enjoy the simplicity of using Outlook over the years. It's evolved to include lots of integrations with MS Teams, Seismic and other tools I frequently use. Plus being able to schedule meetings and having access to calendar view tremendously helps.
I've used Outlook throughout my entire professional career and I love the newest version because there are a plethora of integration options. Including with Seismic which is the main software program I use in my work. I help Sales insurance teams understand Seismic as well as integration options so demoing it's use in Outlook is part of that.
No real complaints I think the software has gone through very positive upgrades over the years. The few things I'll say that don't impact me as much as others is the email templates (lack of creating any) and archiving aren't really apart of our organizational practices.

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook is highly positive. It allows me to stay in touch when I need to regardless of where I am or what device I am using at that moment. The automated response allows me to let people know when I am travelling or out on personal time and offer alternative contacts for immediate response. The ability to integrate with other platforms I use each day allows me to streamline my processes and optimize my time. And the Outlook calendar helps me remember all tasks great and small.
There are several things that I use Microsoft Outlook for on a daily basis. First, being able to easily sync to all devices and be able to respond to emails as quickly as possible helps me stand apart from my competition. The ability to create folders helps me keep communication with clients and prospects in an orderly fashion and makes them easy to find. I use HubSpot as my CRM and find that being able to integrate that with Outlook makes tracking opens of the emails I send very easy to do. Last, I don't know how lost I might be most days without getting my calendar reminders of things to do.
There are two things I would like to see be improved. I often have a bit of difficulty searching for a reminder on my calendar to confirm when I set that reminder for. I generally do not get any search results. The other thing I would like to see improved is not having to go in every so often and reset integrations that I have set up. As an example, I have to reset the email integration between Outlook and HubSpot. At times, this is quick and seamless, while other times it takes a bit of doing to reestablish the connection.

It was a nice test, but I can't say that I would use it for just 1 person. I was immediately turned off by some of the features. Probably works great if you have a multiperson sales team.
The integration with Office 365 was pretty easy and it was nice that the tool worked directly inside of outlook.
The price and helpfulness for a 1 man shop was pretty lacking. I would have liked a version of the software that was capable for a single user that doesn't have a sales team.

Hubspot customer service has been very good. Despite the small issues, for what I'm paying they're the best thing I've found and I've found it to be a very important tool.
Having email sequencing working with the contacts in my Hubspot CRM has been a VERY valuable tool. I've found that my open rates soar at the third email in the sequences. Having unlimited sales templates is a huge time saver. The Activity Feed helps me know when emails have been opened and when links have been clicked.
There are a few glitches. For instance, when I send and receive email from clients via Outlook the activity is supposed to be logged into the contact's record in Hubspot CRM. I've found this doesn't always work. I use both my business and personal email accounts in Outlook. The Outlook Hubspot plugin connects with both and there's no way to stop it from working with my personal account. The result is that I have to manually tell it not to enter a personal email into the CRM, which is a pain.

Great tool with lots of features, have had a positive experience using Hubspot Meetings tool.
We use Hubspot Meetings to let clients book appointments with members of our team. It integrates with Outlook and updates instantaneously so clients can't book at unavailable times.
(Hubspot Meetings) - it would be great if the automatic calendar invite meeting subject line could be customized. Currently it says "Team Member Name & Client Name." I always have to update the meeting invite to include something more specific.

Great product, I highly recommend it. This will help any organization who needs to keep there team on point with contacts, for both existing and new potential clients.
This a great product for individuals in a sales environment, or if tracking emails are a concern for a one-person shop all the way up to an SMB/SME's organization. This will give you a centralized page to review all emails and follow-up with activities to clients as well as new prospects. This is a product that once you start to use it, it will be part of your toolbox for a long time.
I'm currently running this solution on a Windows 10 desktop and laptop, the only issue I have run into is when Windows does a major update to the OS. It usually breaks my connection on both Outlook clients, it does require me to go into the Registry to make the necessary changes. Along with the re-install of the Outlook client as well as Chrome extension. This will take 5 minutes in total, to be back up and running.

Overall, it is a great software with amazing potential...it just takes a little getting used to navigating and figuring out everything you can do with it.
We mainly use Hubspot for the ticketing system, which is a great way to track daily work and tasks. The integration with Outlook is very nice as well where is tracks your emails to and from clients and automatically sorts and organizes them.
The cons I have noticed is that there is so much to do with the software, that getting around is a bit overwhelming and the interface is a little too much.

This product greatly increased my sales volume, being able to see when my email was read, and when links in the email were clicked was really a priceless tool.
Easily track emails in Microsoft Outlook or Gmail. - customer service responds to your issues, tries to help resolve in a timely matter I remember that I had an issue with their notifications once, where they wouldn't show up on my phone unless I turned my computer off; I submitted a request for them to fix this, explained that I didn't turn my work computer off ever, but still needed to get notifications on my phone, and they fixed the issue within a few weeks from my original request! I was completely shocked that they took care of this for me, all of my co-workers said they were now getting notifications as well!
There was a short period of time where they didn't have a cell phone app, but that's not the case any longer. There's really not anything not to like if you pay for the service; my work paid for my premium account, and Hubspot quickly resolved any issues I had.

HubSpot Sales Hub help our sales team to easily track our progress, statistics and really impacted our proffesionality.
I liked the most is that whole interface and outlook of this program is very simple and logical. All dashboards are customizable and I really feel that this software helps me to adjust it to the needs of my company. Also setting tasks, reminders, notes, ect. is very simple and practical.
Although calling directly from HubSpot is a great feature, it was not possible to call to some specific countries at all which affected our sales process a bit.

This platform does everything. You can manage marketing campaigns, send emails, manage contracts, run a sales team, log calls and emails to clients...free plugins for outlook, phone, and even Gmail tie in. We've also had great luck using the API's to push and pull data from other CRM's into/from Hubspot. Documentation is clear (JSON knowledge required)
It's a bit daunting for a new user. Very little in user guides is provided by Hubspot. Virtually no customer service from Hubspot either. Instead they give you access to a user created help area. It's got lots of videos and articles, but it's awful to use, and hard to find basic videos for how a end user should get started. In the end we just used google for support.
