I've been using Ring Central for almost 4 years and have had almost no problems with it. Once it is setup it basically runs itself. We have 11 people using it daily and I still cannot get over what a good deal it is.
Pros
the value of the comprehensive business package for the very affordable price.
Cons
The setup was difficult and cumbersome due to the many feature options.

Pros
An app for your mobile phone that you can answer and make calls
Settings that allow you ring simultaneously on your desk and mobile phone, or ring from desk phone and then forward to another phone
Video conference option
Cons
The pricing is not too bad, but I wish the monthly fee was a little cheaper.

Great experience from set up to usage. Having the ability to stay connected wherever we go is a critical need for our business.
Pros
We are able to make calls from anywhere at anytime. We utilize both the hard phone lines as well as make calls right from the computer. The ability to text, fax and make calls from one number is a great value.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints about this software. It's been easy to use since day one and the price is affordable.

We're using RingCentral for our telephony and web meeting requirements. They have a very responsive customer support team who helped us in the initial stages. With a great product like RingCentral managing all of our calls is like a breeze.
Pros
RingCentral has taken care of all the needs of a business when it comes to internet telephony. The software is intuitive, easy to configure and use. Our team loves the system. Call quality is also good.
Cons
Even though RingCentral is a great product, it is expensive. Guess, all good products come with big price tags. Sadly, small businesses may not be able to afford it.

Telephone auto attendants have become somewhat commoditized in their pricing. It's beyond understanding then that Ringcentral would undertake a pricing revision that tripled the monthly cost of their SaS to our company. Perhaps they're contemplating a merger/offering and attempting to boost their value short-term. I can't imagine that in the middle to long term many Ringcentral customers will accept the new pricing strategy when so many lower-priced equivalent alternatives exist.
Pros
Reliable-- over three years of use the web based system did not have any notable downtime. Ease of use-- easy to implement our telephone map on the Ringcentral system.
Cons
Customer service. Our company had three separate Ringcentral accounts. Sadly, after several years of using Ringcentral they changed their "pricing strategy" which doubled, and then tripled our monthly service charge-- although we did not change our business or the way we used the software.

It is a great priced phone system. Very happy with the value.
Pros
I love that we can have a desktop version or have it ring to our cell phones. I also enjoy how easy it is to record personalized messages. Another feature that is great is the fax feature. Being able to send and receives faxes without a fax machine is fantastic.
Cons
I don't like how sometimes it changes the routing of the phone calls without us having changed anything. Currently my line rings straight to my cell phone instead of first going to my desktop and I didn't do anything to make that happen. I wish it didn't do that.

Pros
We initially started using RingCentral to replace our old phone system with a VoIP system. It was easy to implement and worked well. Over the years we started taking advantage of the other features it has, including the smartphone app and the Glip collaboration software as well as audio and video conferencing.
Cons
Not much to dislike. It's not the cheapest VoIP system but due to the other added benefits it is worth the price for us.

Pros
This software is incredible easy to use. We use it primary for faxing. You can send a fax from any computer or mobile device and you can receive faxes on any computer or mobile device!
Cons
There was a small price increase recently but this is still a great value for the money. I would recommend this product even at a higher price!

Just dropped the service for comparable services, but better pricing.
Pros
Very good and easy to use user interfaces. Tech support is always available and willing to help. Tech support is pretty good.
Cons
Pricing is not too bad. Just found a service that was comparable but less expensive. Tech support is from India, not America.

It was good. My company just wanted something a little cheaper, so we switched.
Pros
Relatively easy to use. Can have it has an app on your computer which was nice if you don't want it on your personal cell.
Cons
At the time it was not really suited for Mac computers. The company just wanted something a little cheaper, so we switched.

We used them 2 years ago and found the support iffy, the meeting app buggy and unreliable and the price expensive. This time around we got a price reduction, app was completely redone and is great, and support has been significantly improved
Pros
All features in one simple app, CRM integration
Cons
can't jump directly from a phone call into a video conference with all participants

Overall, RingCentral is outstanding. The price is affordable and I love the fact that there's no contract. You won't go wrong with them.
Pros
Our entire staff works out of the office the majority of the time and it is beyond convenient to have RingCentral at the helm.
Cons
There's no real down side at all. If I had to pick something than I'd love it to be free but I know that's not practical.

It's a good experience overall but I wish they'd be more in line with other pricing.
Pros
Ring Central is very robust and the cost reflects that for the most part. When you get into setting it up for a business at scale it makes sense, but sometimes smaller businesses may be better served elsewhere.
Cons
Nickel and dime for integrations when the entry price is already higher than most of the other options out there.

Pros
RingCentral is a very powerful VoIP service on the market. It basically allows for any form of customization and its application to your usecases.
Cons
At the same time, RingCentral isn't easy to get into and pricing is very affordable, but at least you see what you're paying for.

Ring Central allows my start up company to provide a phone system for cheap when we don't have land lines.
Pros
I guess that I like you can make calls, leave messages, have a voice mail and text through one system via wifi on your computer or phone app
Cons
If your wifi is not strong your calls will drop. And then if you drop off wifi it sucks a lot of your data usage. Also, it's just not very functional when storing numbers and trying to view messages.

Pros
Fast, responsive and adequate. Pleasant interface. No down-time for maintenance noted. No glitches noted.
Cons
Improvement needed in terms of being more intuitive such as easier to find links for common tasks and having online versus software versus phone apps be more consistent with what they can accomplish

RingCentral VoIP has left a lasting impression on me as it will definitely be my go to whenever working for another company that uses anything else or if I start a company on my own.
Pros
I used RingCentral on the job for answering support calls. The best part about RingCentral are the features it provides. I specifically enjoy the abilities to easily forward calls to my cell phone and to ring out if I'm using a mobile device to make the call. These services made days working from home ten times easier and looking at competitors they don't nearly have as many features.
Cons
RingCentral is expensive. From time to time you also get calls where the other recipient can't hear you, which I'm sure is common in most VoIP services. The cons are rather minimal and while I tend to mention price a lot in reviews I don't usually see it as that big of a factor outside of what your company can afford. Using some of the best services usually cost a bit more to the competition.

Pros
I most like the fact that it's yet to stop working since we started with it. With past setups, the phone would go down constantly but so far RingCentral has worked flawlessly
Cons
It could stand to be a little cheaper but that's the best issue I can come up with.

Ring Central is a low cost faxing alternative to having fax machine in your office
Pros
Ease of use. Easy to log in, find features. Address book is detailed. Reports are easy to find and search. Attaching docs is easy too. NO PAPER, no extra machine, no down time.
Cons
the icon for sending faxes is so small, tiny really, it is hard to find sometimes. Customer services is adequate. I like the once a year billing
Rating breakdown

Pros
I use RingCentral mainly to send and receive faxes. The software is very user friendly even for people unfamiliar with sending faxes online.
Cons
It seems to be reasonably priced, but still is somewhat expensive for the few times a year I send faxes.

Pros
Ringcentral does everything we need in a phone system. They were much cheaper than using our local phone service which is the main reason we switched.
Cons
The Ringcentral software is bloated and sometimes take several hundred megabytes of memory. I wish that could be slimmed down. I also wish there was a way to add phone numbers to our contacts without logging to the online portal.
