We've been with RC for over 3 years. Frankly I've never been totally happy with their solution or customer service though that has gotten better over time. My biggest complaint with RC is that they removed a feature that was absolutely critical and replaced it with something worthless. I used to be able to display the CALLED NUMBER plus EXTENSION pressed which meant that I could set different ring tones on my phone for different extensions. They changed the system to offer the calling number plus extension which is worthless because I receive sales and support calls from people whom I have never talked to all the time. I've asked that they add back this feature MANY MANY times and I'm completely ignored. For that reason alone I'm looking for another solution. Our company is growing and I'm tired of pouring money into Ring Central when they apparently don't care about us.
Pros: They support complex business rules, call routing, etc.
Cons: System is complicated to set up. Their desktop soft phone is buggy and they don't listen to their customers. I seem to miss calls frequently - my phone doesn't ring but someone leaves a voice message. This happens with my other employees as well. None of us are happy with RingCentral.

We have used a cloud based VOIP system for many years and switched to RingCentral nearly 3 years ago now. We have been very happy with the service and features of this application. The software support for the application includes a Desktop App that allows you to use your computer as a communication device and message center, a Google Apps extension that works very well with Gmail, Google Calendar etc. The support for Android and iPhone devices is also very robust allowing your staff to use their own phones as company extensions. I doubt you would find a provider more plugged into the mobile world than RingCentral. Our office uses the service on both traditional VOIP handsets as well as the other software options on smart phones and desktops. This is a great solution for organizations with multiple locations or mobile employees. Highly recommended.

I've tested MANY telephony solutions and bar none, Ring Central exceeds in performance, stability, user interface, integration w 3rd party platforms, price and more. I have hosted live web calls from my car on a mobile phone and screen shared with attendees located globally and have never had such flawless audio and streaming functionality as Ring Central. The mobile applications are beautifully designed, easy to use, and features that perform better then one typically expects! I also use Ring Central as our company telephony and meeting solution with full Google and CRM integration enabled. Love love love everything about this vendor and the amazing platform they developed. And a bonus......the account representatives and support teams I work with at RC are beyond great, friendly, knowledgable and fast to respond.
Pros: Web meetings are consistently stable, no audio issues, no connectivity challenges or dropped meetings. Audio is crystal clear. IVR and call routing is simple to deploy. Can't say enough about the features! Oh, LOVE the Chat feature and seamless fax functionality!
Cons: Would love to see more global expansion however, since partnering with Ring Central I have witnessed over 10 new countries added so I know they are on it :)

Since moving to RingCentral we have been able to increase our level of customer service. They have an easy app for mobile devices, PC desktop phones, IP phones and dashboard to control the entire system.
Pros: Easy to use. Additional apps to communicate on mobile devices. Phones forward and ring multiple extensions with ease. Very scalable. Full Virtual PBX system. Easy to add remote "staff" to your environment.
Cons: Support is in the Phillipines. Sometimes it lacks quality, but if you request a dedicated account rep, the service can be very good.

We have been with RingCentral for over 2 years now. Before going with RingCentral, we began evaluating a few other providers. To get over 100 users on a new phone system requires planning as well making sure that we will never experience downtime. I have to admit that RingCentral specialist who worked with us on the project was very knowledgeable and his experience made our transition to a cloud solution seamless. Aside from all the great features they provide, the most popular that everyone here raves about is their mobile app with SMS and Conferencing. By far, this is the best solution on the market.
We have been with them for over 3months now. After doing some research, we decided to test RingCentral, 8x8, Nextiva and ShoreTel. After the initial test, we realized that the RingCentral interface and quality was much better than the rest. Based on pricing and functionality, no one else came close. I have been referring everyone to them and am excited for all the exciting features that they are releasing.

We have used RingCentral for 2-3 years now with a very simple configuration...ring two phones at the same time, then ring a third phone if the first group doesn't pick up. If RC was a stable and reliable platform it would be pretty awesome. However, a very conservative estimate of the time we've spent with their technical and customer service over that time would exceed 30 HOURS fixing bugs, problems, glitches, or whatever you want to call them. Settings change arbitrarily, and it's a nightmare often times when they apply software updates. There has been very few options for competing providers thus far, however it appears there are a couple of alternate providers now which we intend to try. Caveat Emptor, and get ready to spend lots of time on hold and going over the same trouble shooting steps over and over and over....
Pros: Cool features when it works as designed.
Cons: Rarely works as designed for more than a few days or weeks before something glitchy starts to degrade the system performance. You WILL spend a lot of time with their reps trying to figure out why your system stopped working properly.
