Pros

easy to use, have the proper tools to diagnose an email flow issue. reporting is quick to get the results.

Cons

when an issue occurs, cant call support. it would be nice to speak with a tech on the phone. have to wait for emails. email could be down.

Best SMTP server

I use SMTP2GO for communication with my customers. Mainly I use it for sending out my bi-monthly newsletter.

Pros

It works very well. Easy configuration, easy use. Nice reports. I tried numbers of simillar services and found SMTP2GO is the best one.

Cons

Nothing ... I just like it :) I just need simple and reliable service, thats all.

The best tool for device SMTP sending

Perfect software to use for devices requiring SMTP auth to send emails such as scanners, copiers etc.

Pros

Simple to set up, easy to authenticate, just works

Cons

Theres nothing not to like. It just works.

Very happy, helped identify problems we were experiencing with emails being bounced and email servers being blacklisted. Makes tracing emails much easier

Easy to setup and use with our existing mail servers

Cons

Sometimes a bit confusing to find options on the menu

Excellent service, always improving

I have always received excellent support when needed.

Pros

The dashboard lets me see everything I need on the first screen with no need to search a sitemap.

Cons

The cost is high for my organization but I don't know if there are better rates in the market for this level of service.

Pros

What I like most about this software is the easy API integration, and very easy to navigate around the system.

Cons

What I like the least is that the upgrade plans are not flexible. From 20,000 emails to 100,000 jump. I am also not able to view the actual messages from the emails that are sent.

Fantastic support

Support helped me pinpoint the cause of our only glitch within just a few hours. I feel condifent SMTP2GO is going to do exactly what we need.

Pros

The SMTP server worked exactly as advertised with very helpful documentation. If you're curious whether or not the system will work for you, check their setup guides. They list dozens and dozens of possible use cases.

Cons

Took me a bit to figure out an error we were seeing, but it turns out the issue was on our end anyways

Very impressed with their support, both the speed and how knowledgeable most of the techs have been.

Pros

Support from SMTP2GO is really quick, 24/7. Getting it working with Postfix was straightforward. Additionally, using their service helped us accomplish our goals.

Cons

One feature doesn't seem to be working in the manner it should be. However, we're still working with them on that, but it doesn't directly affect the service at this point.

Bounces?

I using SMTP2Go through GroupMail so I am not sure who is responsible for what at the end

Pros

easy to use and setup. Not too expensive

Cons

bouncing emails are not well explained, I sent many times emails to the same list, but constantly having more and more bouncing emails. To me this is odd, it is not explained and honestly I am not even sure if that is trackable and up to SMTP2GO.

A lot of governance issues regarding the enforcement of TOC require us to deal with a lot of technical issues, which is useful but can also be time consuming.

it saves me time.

Pros

It is quick and easy to use. I basically do not have to worry about the size of my groups or how many I include in an email blast. I am able to blast out my Newsletter in about 1/4 of the time it took before I had this product.

Cons

Not being a teckee it took me a while to figure out how to set it up, but I did get it set up with guidance from your support.

We are in no need to use the ISP smtp and therefore can use our own configuration.

Pros

Easy to use and great visual statistic that tells you what you need to know. An excellent support with quick response.

Cons

Low tolerence when it comes to Bounces even if end users have special configurations that are in conflict with the rules.

The ability to track email delivery at the granular level is very helpful in ensuring delivery of critical documents.

Cons

The occasional backups/delays in mail delivery. Occasionally delays can be a couple of hours, which is inconvenient when waiting for important system-generated alerts.

Overall, this has been a great solution to still being able to use older gear after moving to newer, hosted, email systems.

Pros

We started using this at a client of mine after a move to Office 365. Some of their older gear would not allow us to put in usernames/passwords. This has been a great solution for us to use and it is not very expensive either.

Cons

There is nothing wrong with this service. It fits a nice niche for us right now. If anything, I just wish the pricing was just a little less costly.
