Pros

Its great application you can create your company dedicated email accounts, and assign to your company team. Its very good option I like it most.
All of my clients are really happy with Zoho as they never faced any difficulty due to Zoho's user friendly user interface. I really appreciate Zoho for providing such wonderful service.
Zoho is an amazing and super complete email platform, it has a series of useful features and tools for those who work with emails, especially companies.

Pros

Cons

There are no detailed manual to the problem that I face, and only after seeking support from the customer service the problem is fixed.
The limited versions are quite limited. Also, terrible spam filtering (filters known contacts in spam occasionally and not always catching obvious spam).
It cannot be integrated with HubSpot. It’s really disappointing to use it in mobile browser, difficult to read and type.

Zoho Mail is great if you want to use the freemium version,

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

Inexpensive, you can get it almost at half price compared to other alternatives but the storage will also be half, still you get the option for less storage so a pro for me.

Cons

There is really less when the features are compared to its alternative, it does not offer much, admin centre is ok, its security can be better.

Zoho Mail

Perfect for SMB

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I started using the free version, I witched to the Pro edition and started using my two domains. I like that you can buy your domain with them. Its got everything you would need in a SMB email.

Cons

They should try to simplify the admin UI, it has a lot of options and tools with too many menu. I don't like the new theme, its very slow old one was faster.

Terrible experience thus far

Reviewed 9 years ago

I went to Zoho so that I could use my own domain name for my emails. I am a single entrepreneur needing only two email addresses, so I went for their free account. After many hours getting set up, importing contacts, editing my contact list, I ran into trouble and emailed for support. 36 hours later, I have not received a reply. Then I went to add my second email address and my contacts disappeared,...

Pros

I only was trying to use the mail app and it seemed primitive and then malfunctioned in a big way, so I am not feeling there is any pro other than I didn't have to pay to waste time and effort.

Cons

As stated earlier: lousy documentation, unreliable email handling, poor customer service. I do not recommend.

Good for Startups trying to keep the cost low but there are issues

Reviewed a year ago

Zoho is definitely okay to use to start with for companies and also if you use emails lightly. But you will feel the difference if you move on to a pro software like Google Workspace. The overall experience needs to be improved in Zoho.

Pros

The cost was the main thing I liked about Zoho mail. It was just a dollar per user with limited storage. For startups getting started it is always good to keep the cost low. So zoho did work for us in the first two years. Basically does the work.

Cons

The overall user experience is not that great. It looks outdated. Sometimes emails do not sync up well. Also, it is easier to use google login when signing up for services rather than using a custom email. For example, if you are given access to a google doc for your work mail it is really hard to access that document because you do not have an account in google for that mail. Setting up email clients was harder as well with IMAP configurations.

Zoho Mail

Good for email hosting, not so much for inbox management

Reviewed 3 years ago

Zoho is a reliable option but only mundane in overall appeal. With an upgrade to pro you can forward emails or sync emails with your own email client of choice. And with the current pricing, it is the best option if your only needs are a business email address with many other bells and whistles.

Pros

Zoho was the most reasonable solution for hosting a business email address. If you don't need any pro features or much storage space, it's free. Even with some additional features, it's extremely affordable and much cheaper than other providers like Gmail. It also comes paired with other business features and applications that could be useful.

Cons

The native email interface is okay but nothing more. There isn't anything about the experience that is memorable. And a lot of the other business tools aren't as powerful as other free platforms.

I recommend Zoho mail for some of my clients that need a reliable mail hosting at low cost

Reviewed 6 years ago

Zoho Mail is a great mail solution for small-middle business that need a better solution than their own hosting email. Price is cheap and service is reliable.

Pros

Zoho mail is a great mail hosting solution for small-medium business that need a good email hosting at a low price. My experience is positive and I contacted the mail support few times with success. From my point of view, Zoho mail is a middle solution from your own webserver mail hosting and pro service like Microsoft and Google.

Cons

The anti spam solution is not so efficient. I have better results with services from Microsoft or Google, but at a lower price, Zoho is a good choice. The options in the panel management are limited.

Email Hosting in Constant Revamp Mode

Reviewed 5 years ago

Since I am an active user and recommend this to my clients, I would defintiely say it's worth it, despite the spam stuff. Junk mail will be a pain no matter what. The interface is pleasing and I do notice they are constantly working to make improvements and updating things

Pros

I use this daily and it's great. It is totally separate from my website hosting email and with a few settings on the server & on my domain registrar, my mail was set up. I use it on my local computer/devices OR I can also login and manage email on the web. I set up folders, filters, blacklist/whitelists, and love that I can create an alias email to give out if I don't want someone to have the private...

Cons

It seems like my email sometimes appears to be offline in my computer mail app. It's usually brief but it happens. The more recent setup for anti-spoofing settings were a pain in the butt to set up and I had to contact support for help b/c their instructions were wrong (but, like I said, they did help me and were eager to please). The spam filtering feels limiting. I can only block emails/ domains....

Zoho Mail

Very bad experience so far

Reviewed 9 years ago

I am a Web Developer and needed a new email provider for my business mails. Since I don't want to run my own server for this and I wanted a change from Google Apps I decided to go for Zoho. It made a very likable impression on me and I wanted to give my business to another company than the monopolist Google. So I went for the Pro Account and paid for 1 year in advance. But so far Zoho Mail disappointed...

Pros

The colorful logo calms your raging anger about the bad support a bit.

Cons

Doesn't work as advertised. Almost every mail goes to Spam. Contact import of files larger than 2MB isn't allowed. Horrible and slow support.
