I was always worried that this software was too difficult for a novice, I was surprised that I was able to do some basic layout and editing without any training. There are 1,000's of great videos online for people that are ready to go a bit deeper on their own as well.
It has a pretty steep learning curve to access it's full potential, still well within reach.

We have been able to expand our reach and build our revenue through creating dynamic pieces of marketing collateral and content.
The different features that you can use within the software are great to create dynamic marketing collateral to push your brand identity and build equity.
Less about the software, but training can be challenging with a novice marketing professional. We have to spend time with each person to get them to learn the system. However, once someone gets the system, they are off and running.

Overall, I give this platform 8/10 because I just love working with it. I have been using it for years now and it makes design fun.
I love using Adobe Illustrator because it's so simple. You have complete design and creative freedom on a platform that is there to help. It's such a great platform to use, I love the whole Adobe Suite!
The one thing I dislike about Illustrator is the variety of tools. I feel like with a few more tools they can expand their audience reach by a ton.

I love Ai for its reach and possibilities. Robust features, coupled with industry dominance, leading to resources online for free that cost money in other software options.
Everything about vector building and graphic work using this program is fun for me. An odd work tool, one that you enjoy this much but it makes me a living with the rest of CC
Cost, but only at times....I've used it for close to 20 years and never hardly open Ps anymore because of it.

Now the software has extended it's reach from not only the PC version, but the smartphone and the tablet modes. This embedded with the cloud related saving features has improved the productivity.
The software is heavy on Ram, and the processor which makes it challenging to run it in the older PC's and laptops.

With Illustrator I work all the graphic pieces that come to the agency, from business cards, visual identity, flyers and banners.
The possibilities with this program increase with each edition. Adobe is a cutting-edge brand, using Illustrator guarantees full compatibility between the different softwares that are part of Adobe. These tools together supplement all the designer's day-to-day needs.
Perhaps the price can be high for those who start, or for students. Those who start undertaking independently can find this program out of reach. It also requires certain CPU requirements to run quickly.

It offers an incredible amount of functionality. If you are used to it and familiar with how it works in depth, you have a weapon under your fingers. Though kinda hard to reach this point
Steep learning curve and not easy to use in general. If I use Affinity Designer for example, it seems like so much easier to use without sacrificing functionality - this might not be true from the perspective of a professional, maybe there is functionality others don't have I'm not sure.

I often use Adobe Illustrator to create social media interfaces for the organization I work in INDEXA, as it allows the interfaces to be designed by the company’s brand and identity in a very beautiful way. I approved the designs that I made using Illustrator on Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin
From my point of view, Adobe Illustrator is the best program for designing beautiful and creative interfaces. It has the appropriate tools that allow you to clearly show your artistic touch as a graphic designer. What is better is that it is the program that is perfectly suitable for commercial designs because of its very attractive, ready-made, and flexible fonts that can be modified, allowing the completion of excellent designs in the shortest possible time
Like other Adobe programs, it requires time to learn and reach professionalism, as well as some movement and attractiveness in the user interface compared to what is available in the After Effects and Photoshop programs

with this tool I have made reference drawings of closet designs, beds, furniture and kitchens, it has helped me a lot to develop my ideas and reach an agreement with my clients about the design they want
I have little experience in the area of graphic design and I am trying to update myself, to incorporate new technological tools to my carpentry, adobe illustrator is very intuitive, easy to use for new users, it has allowed me to create reference drawings to show my clients so fast and simple, the module of layers and work tables is great, also allows you to import drawings in various formats
is very expensive and requires a powerful machine, I also consider that you should add a module that allows you to save the progress of the drawings automatically, the commands have made me a little difficult to learn it has taken me a few weeks to memorize all the commands

My experience has been very good but with a lot of effort to be able to reach a basic level of performance, in my case I used it for the layout of a magazine with many images
Illustrator is the optimal tool to work with vector files mainly for the development of logos or illustrations
It is not very friendly for beginners, it requires a professional way to use the tool, it has many functions to work with vectors that are only learned in specialized training

I have used this for many years and can do the basics, but there is a lot of advanced functionality that i feel is out of reach or there is not a good way to learn how to use.
Allows you to quickly get in and start creating shapes and vector art.
The feature list expands so much so quickly that it can sometimes feel overwhelming.

It allows me to create really great marketing images and edit images quickly in case of last minute changes to a marketing or project campaign. I use it quite often to produce materials for my marketing team and to reach out to clients.
It takes a lot of practice to get good and know how to use this software effectively. The inter face can be a little overly technical and could be a little more user-friendly.

I really like AI over the other free options. Pricing can be an issue but if you reach out to them, the customer service team is freindly and willing to look at options that can make this more affordabel for you.
I like that Adobe continues to evolve this software to best fit upcoming trades. The tutorials are really helpful if you are a beginning user.
Some of the bigger updates are annoying since they can move your set items to different views.

I've used Illustrator for many years to create image and text composites for creative projects, for information packages and pamphleting, as well as complex stills in film work. Illustrator has a depth and reach that many other design softwares lack which is perhaps one of the reasons Adobe has sat on the top of the consumer design empire for over a decade.
At times, as with other Adobe software, the depth of functionality sometimes belies the simplicity of access or the ability to locate a tool or function. There is certainly a learning curve to be expected to command this software with any meaningful amount of control. Probably wise to conduct research and watch tutorials before jumping in.

As a painter, graphic and vectorial art seemed so out of reach for me. Illustrator showed me that it is possible to translate my art style into vector artwork and it allowed me to explore some of my passions such as logo and pattern designs. Understanding how Illustrator works and its benefits it's definitely part of every designers' journey!
Watching some of the works produced in Adobe Illustrator made me very curious about vectorial art and little by little I began to learn a whole new way of producing content. Everything can be meticulously planned, elements manipulated and resizing doesn't translate to quality or resolution loss!
Any software requires some time before the user is fully into it, with Adobe Illustrator however, I never had the feeling that I fully grasped it, even when using it constantly. I had several hiccups using Adobe Illustrator, mainly when I needed to do something different which would always require an external step-by-step tutorial. Illustrator needs to be more user friendly. The eyedropper and swatch tools could definitely be worked on in this sense.

My overall experience with Illustrator has and always will be, I believe, a great one. I learned what I know today with the functionality of this software and continue to gain more knowledge the more I utilize it. Illustrator has helped me in my personal business, companies I've worked for, and personal use.
As a long time graphic designer, I have used Illustrator for many years and find the capabilities and resources phenomenal. Seeing the progression of the functions in this software grow substantially over the years has helped me grow in my career and knowledge.
The only thing I don't like about this software (and trust me, I had to really reach for one!) is that when I save an Illustrator file as a PDF file, it switches the file in Illustrator to the PDF document instead of just doing a "save as", like say, Photoshop does. Again, I really had to nit pick here to find something I don't like!

The benefits of this software have helped us to do what would be a very long-winded process and made it something that can be done in seconds.
We use this software to ungroup vectors, we make animations and mini cartoons to reach out to our young people and this allows us to take the element from a group image, save and use it in another. We have found this very easy to use which suits us as we are not savvy in this area but using illustrator allows us to take the image we want from a picture with nothing but a few clicks.
I have nothing negative to add as I use this product for basic functions and it works perfectly, I have had no issues with the editing that I use this software for.

Let's face it - Adobe has the image processing market cornered. Illustrator can be frustrating and counter-intuitive, but compared to its counterparts, is heads above the rest. It's always felt like Illustrator is a more complicated (but also more robust!) version of Photoshop, but in comparison to its competitors, it simply can't be beat. Compatibility is NOT an issue here, Illustrator handles any format you can throw at it, and of course, Illustrator retains the stability and quality we've come to expect from Adobe over time.
Although its interface and layout is similar to Photoshop, that's where a lot of the similarity ends. I feel like Adobe could have designed either Photoshop or Illustrator more similarly to the other, much to the benefit of casual users. Seeing as I'm not a graphic artist by trade, however, the nuances of the controls and UI are mostly lost on me. Although the Creative Cloud has put Illustrator and the rest of the Adobe software line in reasonable reach of casual users, it still feels a little overpriced. Again, however, given its capability, you won't find a better deal.

As for my personal experience making use of Adobe Illustrator it has been very good and has helped me to solve problems in the field of work and in the personal field, even as a student has helped me solve problems. Some examples have been the design of the total front-end of websites and php systems, plus it has allowed me to work with the content for the same, having at hand the ability to see what colors to use, among other things. As a student he helped me repeatedly to do certain jobs where the physical or visual section was the most important, and the truth is that the results of a work done in adobe illustrator are quite professional.
Adobe Illustrator is a software that has a wide range of benefits and undoubtedly are indisputable, but the things I like most about Adobe Illustrator are the tools it has, and the possibility of working with vectors and thus have a greater ability to edit them. resources that we use, being able to modify colors and shapes without very big efforts, besides that it allows to design the front-end of...
I said before that Adobe Illustrator is a software with many benefits but in my opinion it also has one or another negative aspect, and the main ones are: The fact that it is not easy to understand, you need experience in the interface to make correct use of It is software that requires a lot of equipment so that people who do not have updated equipment will be limited in the use of this software and finally the price may be somewhat high for some people.

I have been using Illustrator for approximately three years now as a student and freelance graphic designer. I still learn new tips and tricks today that allow me to advance my skillset. Whatever issues I had or commands I couldn't figure out on my own, a simple search online has always resulted in numerous answers to the same question that others already had. Problem solving has always been easy with the software as it has become my go-to tool for graphics.
Easy to use after some practice. The commands are approachable for a firsttime user and varied enough to fulfill the needs of a very experienced user. It is quite practically a blank canvas for vectors with which you can do anything you might need in static graphics and manipulate to your desire with a drag to copy command. After mastering the pen tool, you might find illustrator to be an alluring...
Some commands / tools are hard to discover until you are in dire need of them and are forced to do an online search for a solution. There are a few commands that do not match up with other software in the Adobe ecosystem which can get confusing. (i.e Indesign / Photoshop / XD). Based on your computer's GPU performance, you may get strange glitches in the rendering of a graphic when the file gets large...

When I have had need of support, I can always count on REACH to reach out to me within 24 hours. They are very friendly and courteous.
The product is easy to use. I often design on illustrator or photoshop and then import the files into the program. There are other fixture in the program that are more interactive but I hardly ever use them, but when I have used them they seem easy to use.
I can't say I have found anything that I have been a problem with the program and I have been using it for at least 5 years.

We asked for some design elements that took some trial and error to implement and they were not only willing to try new things, but great to work with throughout the process. Editing within their announcement editor can be tricky. I find it easier to design in PowerPoint or Adobe Creative Suite and import in most announcements, which works great. We wish there was a way to embed the live screen feed onto our company's intranet, but there is not currently an option for this.
