I build 2 things with softr. - Course selling Platform - Host & Refugees matching platform
You can build complex web apps in a matter of minutes. Flows that would generally take days/weeks to put together in order to make sure everything runs smoothly are now being done very fast. You could literally build a working prototype of anything very very fast. To give you a quick example, during the war between Russia and Ukraine we had to build an app that took care of Ukrainians that were planning to arrive in a different country. We managed to build an app that matched them with hosts in different countries in a day .
Missing features. As good as the software gets some features are missing but there are workarounds around most of them. Also, if there is something critical, there is always an amazing support team ready to help.

I have a pleasant overall experience and I have successfully completed my POC. I feel it has sufficient features to support my backend portal application
Ease of use and its out of box integration capabilities with air-table
Less customization capabilities and elements that could make it a full blown platform to create backend applications.

I literally created an account on softr on a whim and within 10 minutes I was already building my web app. The templates they provide (complete with an Airtable base) make it really easy to get started right away. I think this was the single biggest reason why I was able to progress so quickly on this platform. Their customer support agent [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been amazing! Although the platform is very intuitive, when I did get stuck, he's helped me solve all my problems.
So far, nothing, but I've only used Softr and Airtable. I haven't used the other integrations yet.

I can't say Softr is the best website builder out there, but at the moment it's the one that best integrates with Airtable. For my use case with landing pages and Airtable and little visual and functional improvisations here and there, it works fine. Softr however recently raised money and I'm sure in the next few months it is going to improve a lot on the platform in terms of functionality and performance.
The Simplicity of creating a website, deploying, and making updates in real-time. This is all very smooth. I use Softr for making landing pages that are sent to specific user groups in my Airtable. Softr working smoothly with Airtable makes this a piece of cake for me.
Softr comes with pre-built blocks, and it's impossible to add additional functions to these blocks. You will find yourself improvising a lot with blocks to make up for its shortcomings in functionality. You may want to add a button within a "Hero block" to have two buttons leading to different parts of your website, but the block has one button and that's it! There's no way around it basically! It can be very frustrating but I guess that comes with most site-builders.
