Pros

This application monitors my data in the most efficient and easy way. The overall experience is wonderful for me and I would definitely recommend investing into this software.
Datadog is an amazing cloud monitoring solution that provides great insight and alerting for our platform.
So nice to have that event stream and subscriptions. And it's very easy to share your findings with colleagues.

Pros

It has been extremely helpful in enabling us to provide flawless products and services to our clients. It has enabled us to maintain stable and secure websites and applications.
The best part about Dynatrace is it is hosted in the cloud and the ease of use. We are able to implement our monitoring with ease.
Advantages: we have a lot many advantages like we can save large amount of the time as this look over all the changes required and give us the insights in very less time.

Cons

Had similar problem with another product and they could tell me the exact lines of the config and registry that needed changing.
Very poor set of solutions for Microsoft Azure monitoring. Very hard for new users, documentation is not very straightforward, so you'll need to spend a lit of time communicationg with support.
Sometimes it is very difficult to understand the graph report and it is bit technical to use. The various metric types require a little bit of reading and understanding.

Cons

Every once in awhile you would receive a false alarm and end up wasting time trying to solve a problem which doesn't actually exist at the moment.
We have also lost features over the years that we have used, and the reports and maintenance window configuration have an awful time with time zones, even though they have drop-downs for each report.
Their pricing model was an issue too and we were unable to put all our servers on their tool due to the high cost. So we were limited in what we could do.

I love it - i use it for work, I use it for home. I find it amazing for finding problems and monitoring systems.

Pros

I can handle ALL things in Datadog. I have an answer for CI / Pipelines, arbitrary metrics, trace data, logging and more.

Cons

There are a lot of specific costs. Compare, if you will, with NewRelic (all features are free) or Dynatrace (cost on retention and davis units). If you enable "all the things", it can be costly.
