Having the skills to work with other CRM, you can understand

Reviewed 4 years ago

I used to work with other CRM, so take care of the Drupal is easy and simple. And those who do not have experience, you may experience problems (due to the mass of functions, not all of which are used).

Great software to run websites

Reviewed 5 years ago

This software is great to run websites and is very extensive. The only issue is that you need to have a good sense of what you're doing with respect to MySQL and php in order to set it up and get going.

I have very little experience with CMS-systems, but Drupal has turned out quick and easy (but had to ask a few questions to a professional forum). Now I have a convenient and functional site.

Another CMS that needs more work!

Reviewed 2 years ago

It was difficult to operate and didn't like it much. The software is easy to install, but after installation, it becomes a very big problem to navigate around.

Pros

Drupal is another Open Source CMS that has struggled to between Wordpress and Joomla. It is more intuitive and easy to work with than Joomla but has a smaller community overall. Some serious brands have used Drupal as an alternative CMS platform with success, so in some cases I recommend it.

Cons

The community is smaller than Joomla. The software isn't that easy to operate. There aren't that many options for templates around.

Just say no to Drupal.

Reviewed 3 years ago

None. I don't consider using this platform any longer.

Pros

There's definitely a good feature set here, and you can't beat free software, but that's where the pros end. While this may work for enterprise sized companies that can afford tech folks who can work with the software, not so much for the rest of us.

Cons

It's difficult to use, not intuitive to work with, and just doesn't have the level of support, ease of use, and volume of plugins, extensions and help that you can get with working with a platform like Wordpress.

A popular open source CMS

Reviewed 8 months ago

Overall I liked the product especially for environments where they appreciate open-source software

Pros

It is open source and there are not many comparable open source content management systems in the market. It is also very popular it means there are many thrid party plugins available for this product.

Cons

You need to install a plugin for some very basic form controls. It adds complexities for some of the clients as every third party is required to go to an individual review process .

Stop using this

Reviewed 2 years ago

Created a small free website to demo look&feel to people. Not worth the work though.

Pros

It is free and there are templates to choose from. A decent number of people/website were built using Drupal so there are people who you can hire to build a website using it.

Cons

It is very outdated. Runs on PHP which no one who is up to date with the modern world still uses. Javascript is the way to go.

Lots of scope of improvement.

Reviewed 5 years ago

A CMS making its way to the market competing against the market leader WordPress. Though, it promises a lot more than it actually delivers, it is a decent tool. Good for light weight websites, but it becomes messy on heavy websites. Learning curve is steep so would require domain knowledge for proper usage.
