Pros

Their service is friendly, and offers useful suggestions on how to make my queries better when I reach out to them.
I add in a few lines of code in my app, point the metrics to Hosted Graphite and I look like a hero to my client. Makes me look good, makes my client look good, I'm sticking with it.
We had some issues managing our own graphite instance so we're very happy using HostedGraphite. The built in statsd and grafana are great.

Pros

Easy to use, intuitive tool helps us and is very useful in what we propose to do. We're reasonably satisfied.
With Logzio we have had a great benefit in relation to the metrics that are generated through the logs collected from our servers.
A lot of people think you have to go with a company like Splunk if you want great server analytics. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Cons

In the era of devops, limitation of team members does not work well, I prefer all of my team members to have access to the monitoring.
But with all the weird port numbers, odd dependencies, obscure programs and commands, something always breaks.
Having said that, it's a real pain to build and monitor.

Cons

Subscription plans should be more progressive, sometimes if the maximum event ingestion is met, the events are lost.
Elasticsearch complexity requires some hand-holding, i.e. index failures. Some slowness in searches when the service is busy.
Some overhead required to separate data into fields and identify numeric content for statistical charting. Occasional weird bugs in new features.
