Great control system for administrators and a great concept behind it.

Pros

Allows you to control and track user access, can be used from a mobile device which can be extremely useful in certain situations.

Cons

If i wanted to give a non admin user access to their desktop PC from their laptop it is not possible to accomplish via logmein.

Good features packaged together at a reasonable price

Pros

This product allows remote control, unlimited users on the account which is really helpful, 1 TB of storage which comes in handy, and multi-monitor display which we use all the time.

Cons

Being escalated to different tiers of support until you are able to get to the person who can actually help you.

Easily access another computer remotely

Pros

I was able to access my PC remotely from a Mac, with no lag time.

Cons

My remote desktop could be displayed on a secondary monitor, but since my monitor was larger than my real computer screen, I could not expand the display to fill the whole monitor.

Expensive, but good

I've never had any issues with the functionality and it has some awesome features.

Pros

LogMeIn Pro is probably the best remote access tool I have ever used.

Cons

They have a history of raising their prices repeatedly and out of nowhere making it hard to justify to management when there are many tools (tools which are catching up in features as well) which are much less expensive.

Great remote desktop software

Pros

It has a lot of features such as remote printing, file transfers between host and client, swapping view between multiple monitors, access to keyboard, mouse, and sounds, and many more!

Cons

I remember when Logmein was still free and was a bit disappointed when it went paid so I ended up going with other free remote control software out there.

Able to login to my work computer from wherever I am to get my work done if needed.

Pros

Not a lot of good I have to say about it, other then we have been using it for the last 5 to 10 years and continues to do the job when called upon.

Cons

I think it is hard for users to learn the software, and if you are working with more then one monitor it can be very tricky trying to switch beween monitors.

Overall I liked the problem that it solved but it wasn't that strong of a tool. Always slow and lagging.

Pros

We would use it daily and it was good to have access to remote CPU's.

Cons

Pros

Moving a file in question to your remotely connected PC is a just a drag and drop.

Cons

It's a little tricky to setup, using the trial version seems to lack some of the features that the purchased version has but once the purchase was made, "All is Well".

During my time using this software I had no issues and it was seamless and fast, just didn't appreciate the significant price increase when other competitors were providing similar service at a lower price point.

Pros

Was great with fast connection, seamless operation, rich features including file sharing, drag and drop etc...

Cons

Price: increased quite a lot, used it for several years but because of cost, we had to switch to another competitor.

Worked for what I absolutely needed it for but was not a replacement for being at my desk.

Pros

it was nice to be able to access my desktop remotely so I can get work done from home

Cons

You could only use it for minor things as it was slow to respond and hard to use on an ipad, especially since my desktop has dual monitors

Great Remote Access Software!

LogMeIn Pro has allowed us to work remotely fairly effortlessly for a reasonable cost. It has really helped us to provide more flexibility to our employees to get their work done, or to still be able to provide support to our team despite being forced to stay home (such as during self-quarantine due to COVID-19, etc.). I haven't worked with their customer support team because I haven't needed to (which is a good thing since we haven't had problems!), so I can't comment on that.

Pros

It is an excellent price for the functionality. I also like the pricing structure as compared to TeamViewer (it allows unlimited users, and you pay based on how many computers you are accessing).

Cons

It would be nice if it was optional to change the resolution, but it does it automatically. I would like to just zoom in when necessary and otherwise see the entire screen.

A tool that has always been ahead of its time

The convenience and accessibility is unbeatable. The price tag has left me with the desire to consider other options.

Pros

LogMeIn has SAVED me about a gazillion times from the early days as a free user and needing to access a document on my desktop at home to now as a business owner and with several users needing access to share data and collaborate.

Cons

The customer support is not the best. Also the price seems to increase each year and if you are not wary about the auto renewal you may have signed up for, you may get slammed with a cost you were not expecting.

When it works it is very good, but it fails quite often

We started looking for other options a year ago and we have started migrating to a more reliable and less expensive service. As a user of Logmein for 10+ years I do not recommend them at all, it is time to move on.

Pros

Initially it was very solid and provided great remote access and feature functions

Cons

The reliability is awful and their customer service can't do much about it as it is an infrastructure problem. The worst part is that they increase pricing to almost double every year and the quality of the service declines.

Pros

The other feature I use using this software is to download large files from one PC to another.

Cons

The best part I like is the remote file access capabilities, and grouping the computers.

Cons

Once in a while for some reason, on mac the remote access would be disabled automatically. I have to keep turning it on which is kind of annoying.
