Solid, Intuitive, and Worthwhile

2016-03-24

Easy enough to use and complete enough a tool that I've stopped looking to use omnigraffle and no longer need VDI for Visio.

Pros

Simple interface Robust feature set Intuitive tool

Cons

Currently, the opportunities for improvement are on my side, as I use the free version.

Lucidchart Is Awesome

2016-11-22

I was skeptical at first, what could a browser based diagramming tool do that a desktop tool such as Visio or Omnigraffle could do.

Pros

Online, always available, syncs everywhere

Cons

A little slow at times, keeps forcing me to select "Try Beta" (I only use the beta)

good tool, allows to make the diagrams very quickly and work collaboratively without installations.

2018-06-28

the creation of flow diagrams and uml mainly that can be shared to work as a team, I can also use them from google docs without problems and store in my google drive account, I can also use the images saved onedrive in my diagrams.

Pros

It allows to import diagrams made in microsoft visio, omnigraffle, gliffy and draw.io you can also import figures from visio or in svg format to the library.

Cons

allows only 60 objects per document in the free accounts. the revision history is only available as a premium function, which forces me to use the google revision history docs when I want to work collaboratively.
