Pros

Platform is not flawless but it's the best low code platform from which I have had a chance to try with many options and powerful set of customizable components.
The software is a low code solution helping development cycles being 6 - 10 times faster. What i like is that we are able to minimize coding thanks to the visual modeller that ships with the solution.
Awesome platform for creating great (mobile) applications.

Pros

For a company that wants to modernize its legacy software, this is one of the best options.
OpenShift is great - the UI is awesome it works like a charm.
Openshift v2 was an excellent product that I couldn't fault at all, in fact I really really liked it.

Cons

Also mendix academy courses have errors which makes it hard to train newcomers in the technology.
Mendix is a licensed system which make it inaccessible for smaller budgets. Some versions contain annoying bugs.
The mobile app deployment system through PhoneGap is confusing. Native themes are visually slightly outdated.

Cons

A problem is that you can shut down the services, so you are not charge. If you have a disaster recovery scenario with Openshift on IBM Cloud, you can't stop the compute charging.
But the bugs that I had experienced from time to time were quite annoying and it was quite bad that there was no solution.
Monitoring is poor logs are not accesible directly for real time , only first n number of lines are visible.
