Pros

Secure, feature rich, great support, great performance, easy to learn development environment.
You will always get best solutions through this community & expert advice's as well. Development is fun with Outsystems, if you have ever worked in.
It is scalable and the vendor is a very customer friendly interested in the success of the customer doing well with the platform.

Pros

Using AEM from 2 years and its pretty good CMS tool.customer service is really great and they are pretty quick and knowledgeable. I have also attended the adobe training which is also good to have.
It is so incredibly easy to use and really is a wonderful compliment to the Adobe suite of products.
Fantastic CMS solution, which is the best I have seen for content authoring/management. Fantastic array of features and functionality.

Cons

I was sceptical at first but it has proven me wrong. It is a way to talk about business value instead of code and deploy this fast to your customers.
It can be quite expensive, and sometimes when there is performance issues with a lot of integrations it can be hard to proof that its not the outsystems platform thats lagging.
We made choices regarding the licensing model (application objects) that were bad architecture chooses we had to fix later on.

Cons

There are some peoples who will definitely be intimidate by the shear depth and breadth of the software. I suggest getting youtube fired up.
Because it can do everything under the sun, it's hard to navigate and difficult to see all of it's functions. The support contract is almost as much as the software.
Difficult at the beginning if you have no knowledge, you'll often have to figure out on your own and spend hours learning something. And also it can be a bit pricey for some small companies.
