Pros

Workflows and reduction in hunting for information on customer and activity records has been a huge help.

Cons

Some of the reporting functionality still reverts back to the old/classic interface which is disappointing but I'm assuming they are going to upgrade that in a later release.

Pros

I use this software at my company to manage international resellers and it's great with aggregating their information so only users in certain territories can see their mutually shared content.

I love the reporting abilities and at a glance dashboards for easy live time review.

Cons

Partner relationship can be complicated and sometimes with multiple partner contracts it makes it difficult to report and associated opportunities.

Great cool for tracking leads and business efforts

Pros

We use it to track sales leads as well as reporting. The reporting is very robust and it allows multiple users onto one account.

Cons

The reporting has a little bit of a learning curve but besides that the new interface is much better than the old one.

Please make it more interactive by using different reports and charts.

Pros

I like to build sales app with this platform.it becomes my first choice to use as it is very easy to use and configure.it is a matured product for customer relationship.

Cons

No deep drill on data .one can not dig deep into data and check required details .we can not see data reports in more interactive way.

I would love to find a new platform for our firm to use, but the switching costs are painfully high.

Pros

The app platform is great as many newer softwares are able to integrate seamlessly into Salesforce to provide additional functionality.

Once you are used to the Salesforce platform it is easy to navigate around and switch between screens.

Cons

Reporting is terrible. Data can be accessed but the output formats when manually running and scheduling reports is non-workable.

Nearly unlimited uses for how we manage the information, pull / run reports, display dashboards, and maintain oversight of our multiple plans throughout the globe.

Pros

Along with Conga, it allows for the running of reports, plans, etc.

Cons

Somewhat clunky at first until you start using it, so it comes down to time in the tool to become more comfortable to expand how we engage the tool's capabilities.

Pros

User-friendly, fast, can easily find history of notes/activities all together, no need to open and close various entrees.

Cons

Expensive but if you're serious about a stable, strong CRM program, it's worth it! I've used 3 others (MS-Dynamics, SAP, NetSuite), Salesforce, handsdown the best!

Salesforce helps our systems talk to each other

Salesforce makes our jobs easier. The training is like a video game which makes it more interesting to learn.

Pros

This creates more meaning metrics and allows us to run reports with combined data from different systems.

Cons

We would like the ability to change the color of the graphs, so that we can have consistency across our reports, but there is a limitation and the colors often change and we can't alter the colors.

Salesforce is the right tool for most organizations that are sales and marketing driven

Salesforce is a great platform for those who have time and resources to make it work.

Pros

We have been able to integrate many other essential products, write custom code, build workflows, customize fields and objects and do pretty much everything that we have wanted to do.

Cons

The main con of Salesforce is that, for a company with "sales" in the name, they do very little to help you with actual sales practices out of the box. They don't have great sales funnel, marketing or other templates. Of course, all of this is definitely possible, but it requires previous experience and iteration upon iteration to get it right.

Look at other options before shelling out thousands for this.

Pros

Dashboard and reporting were amazing for me to manage my team.

Cons

The back and forth conversations (we used the chatter feature once that was released) were terrible, notifications weren't working, and support couldn't do anything to help.

I do not think there are many worse mobile adaptions of a platform as this one.

Pros

- Free - iOS and Android

Cons

- Worst mobile adaption of a web interface ever created - Non-intuitive interface even if you are used to the Salesforce core platform - Takes an excessive amount of time to create views for, even when you hire experienced consultants

AE - Easy funnel management updates in bulk, ability to add notes, tasks, and events and sync to Outlook, Manager - Granular & pre-built reports to manage KPI's of team and funnel health.

Cons

Report building can be difficult due to all the fields and options Tasks were not synced to Outlook tasks - want more integration with Outlook

I love the ability to run reports based on different selections of data and have the reports pull accurate information.

Cons

I don't always like that I have to click through so many tabs in order to get the information that I needed. I wish there were spots to create shortcuts, and maybe there is, but our company does not utilize them...

Salesforce can be used for nearly any business model or business workflow. Just remember that when all is said and done, it is not a cheap solution for getting rid of that old, relational database legacy CRM system.

Built-in report generator with all the possible filter parameters and query functionality.
