Awesome and easy to use app

We are using both the Samanage help desk and asset management features, and loving both! The app allows us to better track Projects, inventory and tickets all in one easy to use interface. Our reporting capabilities have improved dramatically, and now each member of the department can dial in their reporting in a way that works best for them. This feature has really impressed our administrative team and makes my status reporting so easy.

Pros

The app has a simple, effective interface that puts little between the data we need and the users that need it. Also, ustomer support is amazing at Samanage and was a huge component when deciding to take on this solution.

Cons

Would like to see even more integration with ZenDesk, otherwise it's really a great solution!

This makes project management a snap

Pros

Also the integrations are great, having it easily connected to our zendesk instance allowing the ability to connect issues from zendesk to assets in samanage.

Cons

When we purchased samanage it seemed to be focused on the asset management. Now they've geared to push more towards the helpdesk software built into to it. Not being able to disable to and remove the options.

We are just finishing implementation of the asset management portion of Samanage for 6 companies.

Excellent reporting for asset management. We are also using the contract management piece even though we didn't see a specific need for that before we purchased.

Pros

Right now, we are integrating with our Zendesk helpdesk software but by September, we plan to fully implement the entire Samanage product suite.

Cons

No dislikes so far. I would like to see a them integrate a training manager for our companies so we can track security training.

Great ITSM tool

Pros

Overall it's a very, very good tool and one that I have and do recommend to other clients (and that comes from someone who has implemented ZenDesk, Citrix GotoAssist Service Desk and AutoTask for previous clients).

Cons

Samanage operate on an Agile product development, so the enhancement roadmap not publicized (but they do accept suggestions and let you know if they are being planned).
