One of the great things it has is the integration with other tools, like slack or even having an API create now cases. The notifications work like a charm.

Pros

Their search is fast and easy to find open source projects that are well coded. The Github actions for free is nice to have and all the extras you get for free are amazing.

Github downtime is always a pain to developers. A bad merge is very difficult to revert.

The UI has nothing that looks close to it and it will take a while to get used to it. There is a lack of 2FA which can be considered a security risk.
