It also integrates with AWS Cloudwatch and other applications like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and Kafka. An ultra-lightweight meter sends data in real time to any customized dashboard on any connected device, with a suite of automated notifications and collaboration solutions for growing organizations.
TrueSight Pulse is an infrastructure monitoring platform that monitors apps and streams custom metrics. The solution takes mere seconds to implement—with automation support for Chef and Puppet—and it is infrastructure agnostic, which means users have the ability to monitor cloud, VMs, and physical servers. Customizable dashboards can be embedded, linked, and shared for total flexibility.
Real-time visibility into web-scale application metrics help DevOps teams and other IT professionals detect and diagnose problems more quickly when they use TrueSight Pulse. Teams that are lacking visibility into infrastructure or having issues monitoring their applications can benefit from using the platform, as it generates ultra-granular insights into all different types of application metrics. TrueSight Pulse gives its users a clearer view of all related data.
TrueSight Pulse offers customizable dashboards. Users have the ability to re-skin, embed, link, and share their dashboards with collaborators inside and outside their organizations. Numerous layout options give users complete flexibility as they design their dashboards.
Dashboards allow you to create graphical views of your digital environment. Choose a template and configure it to access data from your monitoring systems and apps. When a problem is detected, you’ll see it immediately from your dashboard page. IT operations operators are able to use application monitoring to generate a visual representation of all the business apps in their environments. App monitors helps identify and diagnose issues, with advanced details like color-coding and importance-ranking to determine which problems require immediate attention.
From the Application page, click on any application to see the details on the Application Monitoring page. The type of information you’ll be most interested in viewing may include transactions, application model, events, and devices. This information can quickly be filtered by the selected application, allowing you to understand the relationships between various application components.
A Devices page is useful for IT Operations operators who are looking to determine which devices require attention on any given day. Similarly, an Events page displays the relevant information to recognize the current state of events. Users can even drill-down to specific events and perform probable cause analysis on the fly.
Create individual groups based on real-world relationships, like the city, department, or type of resource, and then monitor those groups on the Groups page. This course of action will allow you to see a high-level view of all your devices and events in real-time, and you can filter your view based on the severity of the issue or the current status. TrueSight Pulse offers advanced features like probable cause analysis and root cause analysis to dig even deeper into any issue.
Alerts can be setup based on any metric, regardless of whether that metric is custom or native. In addition to uncovering issues in real-time, users can also create alerts to notify their most valuable third-party tools.
Use the Notifications icon to get notified about new events. Up to 10 new events are displayed at any time. If you have turned the notification feature off, then you’ll need to click the refresh icon manually to update the events table.
