Useful tool for quickly creating diagrams (only used for UML, but sure it is useful for all sorts).
I've only used this product sparingly to create UML diagrams, but it seems very simple to use out of the box. Simple drag and drop interface for creating diagrams. Integrates with visual studio.
As with all Microsoft products, the pricing is a bit steep. Also, couldn't seem to find icons for class diagrams etc. (perhaps not designed for this specific purpose)

Efficient and accurate way to present data from data sources. Great program!
I love that Visio is actually quite automat-able. I've used Visio for creating org charts from Excel...which my colleague used to do manually (omg!). But Visio has great functionality for streamlining exports and visually creating graphics based on data sources (e.g. Excel).
It was not the easiest or most intuitive software to use at first. But, once past the initial stages of getting comfortable with the program, it's not a terribly difficult program at all. Just takes some patience and understanding how the program works and needs to be set up.

Needs more data.
What I like about this software is the ease of use to make line drawings for system Installation.
What I don't like or wish it had is 3D modeling. I wish this could have a way to convert rack elevations and turn it into 3D renderings in an open format that can be transported into CAD.

Visio is a Window product so my learning experience is short. It is easy to navigate and get my job done.
Fast and easy to use. I use Reversed Engineering on most of my database schema diagrams. It is easy to connect to SQL Server and pull tables or views database schema. Snap to the grid join line between tables is easy. Different display options on tables/data types and editing database properties are useful and simplified a lot of complicated joins display.
When using the "Reserved Engineering" function, Visio does not import SQL Server's data types. It seems only use MS Access data types object. Sometimes, I need to manually edit the number of characters under the data types columns.

Good tool for mapping complex business processes for employees/audiences who are technical and also non-technical. I liked the ready to use shapes you don't have to reinvent. Automatic links are wonderful.
The Visio product should be included in google products.

The templates are my usual starting point for drafting diagrams, as they have some of the main features built in already.
I use the swim lane template regularly to map workflow processes.
Visio satisfies most of my data visualization needs now.

Visio's data import and export features are a standout feature, allowing users to easily integrate their data into their diagrams and create dynamic, data-driven visuals. Its seamless integration with other Microsoft Office applications, customizable data graphics, and collaboration features make it an ideal tool for businesses looking to streamline their data visualization and analysis processes.
Pricing of Visio is slightly higher than its peers. Additionally, the learning curve for using Visio for users who are not familiar with diagramming software is steep and it requires time to get acquainted to it, which may make it less accessible for some.

It’s so great to compile data and share with the entire office staff.
Easy to use for diagrams and graphics. Easy to display data graphically. Easy to connect/share data.
It takes a little bit of time to get used to as with any software. Once you get the hang of it you’ll be using it with ease.

Vizio does what we need it to do in creating diagrams, but the restrictions on workstation installations can be a nightmare. As a standalone product it is great.
Vizio is great for creating data flow diagrams that illustrate the flow of data from one device to another
Vizio does not play well with other Microsoft applications. If a user already has a Microsoft Office product installed, it is very difficult to install Vizio as well.

My company had no process or business mapping. I am utilizing this to organize the business and identify areas we can optimize due to mapping
The Data Visualization is great. It makes things so much easier being able to combine the data with the mapping.
There isn't much I can say about this product that isn't positive. It would be nice if it were a little less expensive.

I used Visio with Excel to create flow charts and diagrams, organization charts, and process flow diagrams. I found it user-friendly, easy to use, and easily accessible. Overall, I have great experience.
You can use provided templates/shapes as well as create your own custom shapes and templates to fulfill your needs. It is user-friendly and can easily be deployed. There is no specific requirement of the system.
Visio should have the option to create a data table that can automatically create the organizational chart based on the inserted data. More other features can be added by integrating Excel.

Overall experience is good as for the amount of money it costs it can offer some better UI and more features.
It is a best tool to visualize data in the form of flowcharts and diagrams. It makes data representation easier and prepares an easy to share file.
The tool is costly and need to understand before making data representation.

All in all, if you looking for data visualization software then you should use this software.
I like this software because I can easily visualize my data with diagrams there. It helps me to compare data and develop it.
I use this software for data visualization only and I so far I have not seen any problems.
