Pros

The pleasure of sharing important content such as videos and graphics that I want to share in a comfortable, fast and secure way without any restrictions is invaluable.
Azure gives you the peace of mind of a super powerful machine with adequate storage for you to do your job.
Microsoft Azure is a great platform that provides secure and reliable data sources for our company which is very important. It is easy to use and very effective software.

Pros

It has been a positive experience and have so appreciated the great customer service.
The ease in which to drag and drop files is convenient. I love the ability to organize the files to my needs as well as the ability to locate files.
We have had a great experience. I like that I can access my documents from anywhere.

Cons

In Brazil, being charged on a dollar basis is very expensive, it is difficult to pass this on to the customer. The recent 21% readjustment was abusive.
Also, if you forgot a DEV machine on over the night, with no need, you will be charged.
I received and email (turns out from a Bot) and this was ignored apart from a missed call from someone, who I then could not get hold of.

Cons

I had a desktop version before moving to the cloud and had several major problems with that version as it corrupted on my computer several times and did not automatically index to a cloud backup.
Terrible enough that I tried for 2 months to cancel my subscription to which the customer service agents wouldn’t let me.
Everything is all jumbled up in the customers folder making almost impossible to find what you are looking for without wasting time and causing more stress to the day.

Support is very good!

Pros

Efile cabinet allowed us to go 'paperless' for internal storage. I expected costs for paper and toner to be less, but I didn't anticipate the savings in labor costs.

Cons

Microsoft updates always cause an issue with efile cabinet.

We have removed all stored files from off-site facility with monthly fees and have scanned everything into Efile. I love it and tell everyone I know how wonderful it is. Convincing others to stop sending paper files is the only difficulty I have experienced, but scanning into the file is quick and convenient.

Pros

This is the most logical filing and retrieval software I have seen or used. So simple for anyone to use.

Cons

Every time we get a Microsoft update, Efile quits working correctly and we need IT support to install updates for Efile.

Cloud document storage with great tech support

effective storage of docs which can be accessed from anywhere, anytime. Thank you Rubex!

Pros

It keeps my files and documents in identifiable folders, organized and easy to access. Information can be found easily, even for years previous. It is great for saving emails, which can be opened and replied to at a later date if need be. It is easy to drag files to desktop to work on and upload again to save.

Cons

Upgrades from other software and cloud programs (like Microsoft, or printer software installs and upgrades) create issues with the Rubex applications.

E-File cabinet was fantastic with their conversion support. Friendly, professional, and rapid response time to any and ALL of my questions.

Pros

Ease of use, compatibility with Microsoft Office, very limited learning curve, great search ability for files, very simple to setup and expand as needed.

Cons

Sometimes is slow checking out files, depending on the size (file of about 2 GB took 5 minutes to download for corrections.

Excellent way to go paperless

The tech support staff at eFile Cabinet has been great to work with when any issues have asrisen. As a CPA tech support is everything and if you can't support your product in a timely fashion the product is worhtless.

Pros

Easy to use, secure storage of client. I wanted my data management system to be separate from my tax software should I ever want to change company's. Also from previous experiences I need a company that would stand behind their product and was large enough to be around in the future.

Cons

After buying a license with annual support I was forced to switch to an annual renewal. Shades of Microsoft & Adobe with monthly/annual subscriptions. So as long as you don't mind and annual subscription . . . . . .

Pros

I purchased E file cabinet when it was first developed. I have used the original version because I do not use Microsoft office. The later versions require Microsoft Office to age maximum benefit and data encryption from the product. As a single practitioner I do not need encryption. So if you are considering purchasing the product be aware that the technical service is wonderful. The assistance they provide me with annual setting up new year universal templates is worth the reasonable annual maintenance cost for the service. The people are helpful and the phone support from Mountain time to Eastern time is convenient.

Cons

The current versions require Microsoft email if you want to attach a file to an email. I use Chrome so if I want to attach a file I have to print it to the desktop then attach it to the email. Then I have to delete it from the desktop.

I have a tax and accounting practice, and eFileCabinet allows me to have very little filing space. Everything is returned to the clients, and I scan everything and have access to whatever I need or want from there.

Pros

eFileCabinet allows you to print straight to the program from every other program I have ever tried - Microsoft suite programs, accounting software, QuickBooks, tax software, everything! This feature along with the ability to quickly scan and store items make a paper-free office a reality, not just a goal.

Cons

I have my eFileCabinet set up very detailed. I would like to be able to click on where I want the file saved or printed to and then just scan or print it straight in there. Most times I have to click as many as six different things to save the document where I want it. That has been a complaint of mine since I started using the software.

Exceptional Document Management System Software!

The company that I worked for is like most companies in America right now. They didn't seem to have a genuine way of organizing their documentation. There was the issue of multiple people having copies, but all of them had different revisions. You could only imagine a headache that it caused. Pros

The biggest thing that I like about the software is the ability to do my own cabinets and not allow others to see them. I like having everything organized so that it's easier in the long run. EFC allows me to have that organization and I am grateful for it.

Cons

Again, as I've stated before, the only issue with the software is that not all file extensions are included. You have your typical Microsoft Office file types, but it would be nice to have an add-on for extensions like .pcb, .dxf, and others that when associated with a particular software, that software's insignia is used in EFC.

Perfectly suited secure client management tool for independent financial advisory firms

Compliance, safety of office files, and necessity of hanging on to files for 6 years+ to comply with FINRA and B-D requirements.

Pros

The format of the software is easy to use, once you learn it and become familiar with it. I really like the icon on the desktop for ease in retrieval.

Cons

When Microsoft releases an update, it commonly contains some script that blocks EfileCabinet from being able to scan/save documents . This is very frustrating for the user as it eats up precious time and often I find myself doing this type of work on weekends when I can't get c/s help until Monday. Not the fault of EFileCabinet.

eFileCabinet is a data storage system that can store hundreds of different electronic data, such as PDFs, Microsoft Word files, jpegs, and others. It is simple to setup and easy to use. The availability of eFileCabinet in mobile, both android and iOs, makes carrying hundreds of files and data possible. A lock screen feature for mobile is also present making your files available just for you.

Cons

The inability to upload multiple files at times is a great downside but so far, that is the only problem I have faced with eFileCabinet. Everything is working as how it should be.

Stability Questions

The main task eFileCabinet performs is the efficient organization of client information.

Pros

When working the software is easy to use. When working the features are flexible enough to meet most data management needs.

Cons

I spend to much time with support. The software (securedrawer) is not stable. The user interface changes frequently. The user manual is often not up to date. When Windows 10 is updated the software stops working correctly. As you know Microsoft updates their software often so it means I'm contacting eFileCabinet often to fix the software. The is no convenient place for me to determine what changes update make to the software. Too often when one issue is fixed other issues are created.
