A good place to store large files for clients to download

2019-03-17

I use Azure Storage in a 'bucket' with Mountain Duck. I can upload large files which can then be downloaded by clients. We sometimes work with multiple gigabyte large format artwork files, and we found that other services like Google Drive did not deal well with such large files, but we have always had perfect results with Azure Storage.

Pros

It can store very large files, multiple gigabytes in size, without problems when uploading the files.

Cons

It costs money for clients to download the files from our Azure Storage bucket, whereas there was no charge for Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.
