Pros
So it can be a deterrence to learn about a great exciting system, download it and not have any guidance as to how to use it and maximize that use.
It is easy to use and helps make our firm run smoothly. I am a paralegal here at the firm and for me, Houdini is wonderful because it helps me keep the attorneys on track.
Working with the Houdiniesq team has been wonderful, they will help you in whatever manner he can.
Pros
Streamlined my trademark practice and provided great insights on how to build a great product for my clients.
Alt Legal Customer Service is excellent and personable. I highly recommend Alt Legal to any trademark attorney.
The product is really easy to use and they have wonderful customer service. It handles all of my domestic and international docketing.
Cons
We tried to use this but were constantly on phone with tech support. When we pointed out deficiencies it was met with a angry responses.
Lack of a functioning document automation/assembly system and lack of quickbooks integration.
In the end, my final verdict on it is this: Houdini was, once, on-par with the other practice management options; but Houdini has failed to keep up with the times, and it shows in many ways.
Cons
Other software programs I've used had customer service that was slow to respond. This loss of time leads to a loss in productivity which translates into a loss of billable hours.
I don't think I've found one negative thing to say about this software.
Until then we need to enter that information ourselves--it could be worse and they are constantly improving the platform.
