It has been wonderful. I don't plan on switching it.
I like that it is very easy to use and basically has all the features needed for a law firm case management software.
I wish that the credit card processing fees could come down and that there was a built in intake process.

MyCase saved me about 20 hours of time in creating time invoices and the phone app is very helpful in making sure I do not lose billable hours.
Keeping track of my time, active cases, and tickler system.
There are so many features that at times it feels overwhelming to spend the time to take advantage of additional existing features that I use.

Overall, MyCase has been great.
I love my MyCase software as it has made running my paperless law firm so much easier.
I would like more integration with other software I use such as Google Drive and Google Calendar.

A fabulous and inexpensive tool for small law firms
Integration of Trust account and operating account billing, invoicing via email, acceptance of credit cards online at a reasonable cost, seamless access to timekeeping information
The only down-side to MyCase is that it is difficult to pull up, revise and re-save a document within a case. Not impossible, just clunky.

Ease of use, uncomplicated integrations.
MyCase has the best user interface of the PM software I have tried, and it has all of the integrations I need built-in.
Things just don't seem to work quite like they should. I had a lot of trouble doing things like importing, syncing, and other essential features of the software.

We have been pleased with lead management, texting and billing options. Overall a benefit to our practice and affordable for a small firm.
The interface is intuitive and simple to incorporate into my practice.
It does not have a way to collect case outcomes and recoveries which would be helpful for running business reports.

Everything in one place in one program and the ability to have clients review their information and documentation in one place.
It's ease of use and on-line help. It is quick in setting up new cases and contacts. I do hope they add another location for additional emails without setting up an entirely new contact.
My comment of a "3" regarding the features/functionality are totally focused on the billing/reporting aspects. The limited ability to generate the information necessary for our firm is frustrating. I know they are always working to improve and I have given them many suggestions as well as my offer to assist and brain storm with them in any way possible. I know they will eventually get there - just takes time.

It was easy to learn and has been essential to our operation.
MyCase allows us to keep everyone organized, have a central location for our files that can be accessed by anyone on the team from any location, and provides transparency and access for our clients.
I have no complaints. So far everything has been easy.

I like the ease of use. The billing is simple and my clients never have any issues navigating the portal.
I previously submitted this. I would like to be able to not have to associate time with a particular case but to have an available option for firm related things that I can still show where my time went, such as Consultations, Marketing, etc.

For the price, it is a tremendous value given the resources MyCase puts at my fingertips. (I qualify for an ABA discount, but it looks like many bars offer a discount of some type.)
Sometimes the sharing of documents can be confusing if you are not careful. It took me a little while to figure out that I wasn't checking the right boxes.

Problematic.
We chose this application over a ton of others because of the integration of billing to case management.
The way they handle leads vs contacts. Their views (client vs. case list) doesn't even have the client name in the case list. Case names cannot be replicated. So if you have a divorce firm where most of your cases are divorce, you must all have unique names.

It's easy to use and there's no downtime. It's always available.
It's a virtual calendar and filing cabinet that you can share with your client. What could be better or easier? It's available whenever you need it, wherever you are... it's a lifesaver.
Can't say I've found anything yet that I don't like.

Calendar is extremely easy to use. Also easy to view &/or set up appointments for other attorneys in the office. Also, time & billing is SO easy.
Having a little difficulty uploading batch files in that MyCase "not responding." I've found if I try to upload 5-8 files at a time, task is completed. Anything more than that & I'm stopped from completing the task.

MyCase is better than the other case management programs I have used; It interfaces with other programs, it has a good document processing feature, it is user-friendly and is continually improving, and it has extensive user tutorials and an excellent technical help chat-line (shout out to the customer support!). As a support staff in a small-to-mid-sized firm, I love it.
The calendar is slightly less versatile (we would like to set the default calendar entry time to 30 minutes rather than an hour and this doesn't seem to be available yet). But you know what? It really seems like the development team listens to suggestions and makes those improvements available.

Easy way to make payments and communicate
Enjoy being able to receive payments in the trust and operating account, enjoy being able to upload documents and receive documents, enjoy being able to communicate and keep accurate time.
The software does not have any flaws that can be thought of at the moment that affects my opinion of it.

I see potential in this product, however as the owner of a small practice I would not recommend purchasing. My staff constantly complains to me about the restrictions, and difficulties in integration
The customizable 'workflow' feature is nice, it is helpful to be able to make a firm specific checklist to assign to each case.
BILLING BILLING BILLING! I can rollover outstanding client balances from one month to the next, BUT if I do it COMPLETELY destroys my Quickbooks sync for that client. There is basically NO way to write off a bad debt. When I (or my staff) call the help line the wait is tremendous and little is accomplished.

I used this software for about 3-4 years. It's pretty easy to use, just a bit expensive in my view.
The ability to store all client communications and documents in once place. Also that you can print to PDF all communications if you save them as notes.
No ability to print all emails for a particular client unless you save all communication as a note and print to PDF.

Accuracy of billing activity is no longer a problem thanks to Mycase.
E-signing documents and the ease of billing and keeping up with case activity have been invaluable features of the MyCase product.
I would love quick, easy and convenient training options when new features are rolled out.

It is easy to use. The cost and its features make it attractive for solo practicioners. The invoicing is useful as well. I like the client access.
I'm having trouble with flat fee cases where I want to show expenses & costs plus time only. It can be done but it could be more efficient.
