Overall quite good.
Overall, the software was fairly easy to use although there was a bit of a learning curve and placement of some of the features is not particularly intuitive.
The layout of the features is not particularly intuitive and often have to click a few different options/tabs before finding the feature I'm looking for.

Way too many emails to go through in a case, needed an easy, accessible, software to sort through and dedupe a ton of emails
I love how easy it is to use and go through documents
I would like to be able to multi add or remove folders as well as shift select documents

What I love about this software is that it allows you to review legal documents with unilimited data hosting and it allows you to organize it and modify it the way you want to and is easier for your team to view. It also allows you to keep track of all the documents, mails, attachments and threads. It also gives you the tranquility that the uploaded files are secure.
It is not a very friendly software, for me and my team it was a little bit hard to take control over the platform.

Excellent! I have not had a lot of exposure to other platforms, however, the ease of navigating through Nextpoint makes it a great product!
Having two database options (review and prep) is a great help. It has streamlined the process of preparing, marking and saving exhibits. Also, customer support is always helpful, even when you ask a question for the 10th time!
Remembering all of the functions that are available and how to locate them. Although typing a quick search in the help area makes it easy to find.

My overall experience has been better than my experience with other e-Discovery platforms. However, Nextpoint support is hit or miss. While I believe the team gives maximum effort, we have run into a few issues with their ability to process our requests as directed, and within a short turnaround time if needed. Given the company is relatively small and new, I have no doubt these issues will resolve when Nextpoint is able to increase its number of personnel.
The software is more user friendly than other comparable e-Discovery platforms.
Nextpoint misses on a few features that would make the user experience more efficient. E.g. - real time coding creation and ability to redact/highlight while in review window.

Product very easy to use (after some training / guidance) and very quickly became an essential tool for our team. Customer service is excellent, especially as we are based overseas.
Some limitations on functionality but regular updates and improvements.

Dear NextPoint, I would just like to send a note of thanks to you for the great work, assistance and dedication of Jim Lancaster and the NexPoint team. Jim, throughout 2015 and before, has been available to me and our firm to help expand our capabilities and he has always made our efforts to act promptly to sufficiently meet our client needs easier and in the end the results have always been superlative....

Nextpoint is a great product. It has saved valuable time in high stakes and large scale litigation. I would recommend it to anyone for litigation support.
Nextpoint is very user-friendly. When reviewing, categorizing and producing thousands of documents in various legal matters, it has proven to be an invaluable litigation support tool. The search ability and organizational tools it uses are very helpful.
There is nothing that sticks out as a complaint about Nextpoint. I have used it on numerous occasions without issue and have definitely appreciated its ease of use more than prior large document systems I've used before.

Easy to set up a new database. Searching is easy.
Doesn't recognize bates-stamp that is already on a document. Have to add a bates-stamp in NextPoint. When searching in a document it would be helpful if the word you are searching for was highlighted.

Allows me to be more efficient as a litigator.
The best part is the ability to search for terms. It allows me to easily and quickly find and utilize relevant documents out of a massive production.
At times it can be a bit unwieldy and you really need to practice and build a knack in setting up folders.

Nextpoint is an efficient way to gather all documents in one software. It was easy to use and a great tool for discovery needs.
Nextpoint is not always user friendly. The keyword searches does not always produce all the required documents.
Michelle, Thanks for the review! We are always happy to listen to constructive feedback from our users. Nextpoint's advanced search "wizard" can help you build the perfect syntax for quickly narrowing down results. You can also save your searches with one click. We are always happy to jump on a call with you for a quick search training if you need more help, and there are great search tips on our support site here: http://support.nextpoint.com/hc/en-us/articles/205952436-Searching-Tips-FAQ-s#advanced.

Building a database from scratch with Nextpoint is quite simple. After a few trainign sessions, or with the extensive guides available, coding your database is easy.
Considering the product is rapidly evolving, sometimes one can run into little glitches that can make you lose some work or slow down the process. However, the helpdesk is ready and available to assist!

The preparation for depositions and creation of witness folders have become significantly easier and less time intensive.
We use mostly to conduct key word searches in document intensive cases in order to prepare for depositions. The search function meets all of our needs.
When you click on a document the pdf can take a long time to load and then take extra time to load between pages which can become frustrating.

Nextpoint is about 10% of the cost of competing products. I compared my costs versus a co-defendant for the same case and the savings were staggering.
It can be a little difficult to ingest data.

We have only been using Nextpoint for three points so it's still relatively new to us. I do like the fact that it's cloud based and much faster than our previous legacy software which was server based.
Everything is stored in one place i.e., a review database or a prep database.
Some features are not available to standard users such as creating responsive issues.

Overall the experience is positive.
The software is very cost effective and an easy sell to clients.
The software lacks TAR; customer service/trainers are not terribly sophisticated, lack professional speaking skills, and therefore lack credibility during training.

Document review, production, management and preparation for litigation.
The document review and preparation features (doc review, bates numbering, productions, theatre)
It still has a "techy" "wonky" feel - easy enough if you use it regularly enough to get comfortable. But using it less than that, it can difficult to remember where to go to do certain things. It needs a more user friendly interface, buttons, workflows, etc. If you could master that part of it, it would be extremely high powered. But overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

My overall experience has been relatively positive with the cases we currently host on NextPoint.
Since I am not a long time user, the following features currently stand out to me: .The ability to upload, review, redact, and produce documents from same database. .The deposition features in the Prep database.
Sometimes the upload turn-around time is slow. Inability to create subfolders in Review. Inability to change folder names in the File Room.
