AMAZING. I love this software. It's the best account billing software that I've used in the legal field so far. When cost codes are needed for certain accounts they are easy to use and the reports that can be generated are very detailed.

No frills, but effective software for billing

I have been using Tabs3 software for 30+ years.  As a consultant, I am familiar with many of the other legal software packages, and the one I use for my business is Tabs3.  It continues to evolve with the latest technology, and I completely trust the integrity of the software.

I have been using Tabs3 Billing since I started my business 26 years ago.  I have found the company to extremely responsive to the needs of the legal community.  The product updates are always stable and routinely introduce new features to keep this software on the cutting edge.  Tabs3 is intuitive and very easy to incorporate into the daily flow of business.  It has my highest recommendation.

Excellent Software for 26 Years!

I have been a consultant and legal software reseller for 32 years, and have worked with virtually every billing and practice management system known to the legal community.  I settled on Tabs3 and PracticeMaster as my go to products. 
I know it sounds corny but the tech support is the best there is.  I will often call them from my cell phone during  a demo to show their response time. I have yet to be disappointed.
The company is privately held and is not going to be sold in my lifetime. I am banking my living on that!
The billing system is great and has evolved wonderfully over the years. They improve it every year, mostly by listeningn to we resellers and consultants' feedback. They care about their resellers and support us wonderfully.
Sorry to sound like such a suck up to them, but after being mistreated, lied to, and cheated by the other billing software companies (and you know who you are) it is a pleasure to work with a company that truly cares.


TABS3 is the BEST! Period.

I work in a small two-attorney office and consequently wear many hats.  I sit at a front desk answering the phones, accepting deliveries, and meet/greet clients and other visitors to our office.  In addition to secretarial responsibilities I handle the day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities as well as preparation of the firm's legal billing to clients.  In other words, I live in an environment with many interruptions and little time to devote to a learning curve for billing software....I just simply need to "get it done."  TABS is intuitive and many things can be easily learned as you go.  I have had great luck pulling a general topic from the help section and printing out concise "how-to" for immediate and future reference purposes.  Additionally, our local technical support representative, Cindy Krusenklaus, actually worked in a law firm years ago, thus has firsthand knowledge as to how lawsuits progress from assignment to settlement, and how billable time and expenses can best be presented to clients, companies, and third-parties [electronic billing] to ensure that our bills are properly presented for consideration/payment, thus providing our firm with the best possible dollar return for the work performed and return of expenses advanced by our firm.  We are MORE than pleased with the product itself, information in the help sections, and -- in particular -- our local rep!!!!

I have been using this software for over 15 years and I still love it. With every upgrade they have listened and thoughtfully made great upgrades.

You have to do a reverse update to open and print old charges which is annoying when that info is needed. I print the bill each month so that I have the record handy.

When I have a question, I just type it into the help section and I receive either a phone call or email very promptly. As a solo, this product is amazing and does so much.

Integration with email is awesome and our staff gets a sense that your team is continually improving and adding options which makes it even more exciting.

Having the accounting "internal" for both trust & non trust accounts is a great help in not needing to use  Quickbooks, then re-enter/log the checks, costs, details.

Until recently, we could live with those glitches. However, the software now refuses to delete emails from my Inbox and the company cannot correct this problem.

There are so many things to rave about this legal management software. If we have to pick, I would say its awesome customer service and its basic accounting capabilities offered.

Lastly, the customer support and training has been beyond my expectations, with their quick responses and help. Overall a great product and only I wish I would have made the switch sooner.
