I'm over the moon with CARET Legal! The way I run my law firm has been completely revolutionized by this all-encompassing software. The software's straightforward and user-friendly layout, which has made navigating and using it a breeze, is one of its major characteristics in my opinion. My efficiency and production have greatly increased as a result of the wide variety of tools and features it provides. Convenient access to stored legal information.
I enjoy this software's ability to store masses of information all in one small, directed location of which I can easily access and refer to at a later date.
Software pages can sometimes be difficult to navigate. There also is difficulty in understanding where certain tools are and what other tools are supposed to be used for.

Everything is integrated in an easy web based platform that is user friendly and intuitive. You can easily work, bill, handle emails and documents all in one place.
Wish I could duplicate the last billing entry when working on one file and entering multiple billing entries.

Excellent company with great customer service. They are growing quickly and are on the leading edge of legal technology.
I love the ability to manage tasks within Zola Suite. Zola Suite also has a very intuitive document automation system.
Although I understand the HotDocs integration is not yet released and still in testing, it needs additional features. Specifically, the "Overlay" feature that is native to HotDocs needs to be activated within ZolaSuite. It also needs the ability to email the HotDocs interview to clients through Zola Suite.

It has been one of the worst conversions we have ever experienced. I could not in good conscience recommend this product to anyone. I sit on committees with 100's of managing partners and technology is a constant topic of conversation. Our choice to go with Zola has backfired thus far. It has taken such a toll on my people and our management and tech teams. We need to see a change soon.
The billing component of the software is user friendly.
The conversion has been a nightmare, there is poor service on the back end, it has derailed out business for days on end with outages, it has yet to work wit lawpay, and took a ridiculously long time to integrate with Netdocs.

We spent months reviewing Zola, the people that worked there were so patient and helpful. Overall - we should have chosen Zola to have the accounting within the system
it has FULL accounting! Most legal matter management only has some money reports, Zola has full accounting, meaning you can actually run a P&L for your business.
I thought this platform was painstakingly created to include almost every detail you could ask for, in the end, my big boss wanted something that required Quickbooks

Grow to love this product on a daily basis. Zola Suite continues to improve and update its functions and services offered. It makes billing and invoicing a lot easier. Highly recommend!
There are so many things to rave about this legal management software. If we have to pick, I would say its awesome customer service and its basic accounting capabilities offered.
Glitches and technical errors, especially with Zola Suite email system, happen more often than our liking; however, Zola Suite's awesome technical support team and their great availability and ease of accessibility make these problems bearable.

I was able to remove myself from quickbooks and begin more document merging than in the past.
integration of accounting, document prep and merge, matters time tracking and billing features.
Integration with Best Case bankruptcy program would be great and help me tremendously

Saves me about 3 hours a month on billing and other administrative tasks.
I like the ability that this product gives me to blend different types of billing methods within the same client. I have been searching for a product that would allow both hourly and flat fee billing by matter and not client.
Still trying to get my hands around the accounting module. Not sure if I am better to wait for full Quick Books integration to start using that functionality. Need to have some method for accounting for expense disbursement which does not require the entry of a check.

more efficient time billing for the client; less delay in accomplishing client based tasks.
What I like most is being able to go to the client profile regarding emails that I receive and reply to the client and the client is charged exactly for the time incurred. I am not required to enter a separate billing entry that wastes my time trying to track a 2 minute or 3 minute email response which seems to happen more and more.
Whether it is me or the software, I unintentionally close out of the software way too frequently. Perhaps the exit "button" should be located differently on the bar.

The two big things that Zola gets right are the accounting component and work flow for billing. Before trying Zola, I tried manual spreadsheets, FreshBooks, Harvest, CaseOne, Clio, Xero, ebility, and probably some others. None of them got out of the way and let me run a business like Zola does. Yes, they assume that I have a dedicated office manager, but even when I do, why would I want to do that...
There are some user interface things that I think will improve in the coming year. (For example, I don't use Zola for email, the fact that it is front and center doesn't help me, but that is not something I have to work around.) They publish their roadmap so I know that the platform is going to develop.

Zola was acquired by another company a few months ago. It was rebranded into CaRET and turned into complete garbage - it simply doesn't work. Salespeople send messages trying to upsell their credit card processing services and new subscription plans. Email on desktop software or mobile app has not been working for over a week! Customer service is useless and sends generic messages asking to perform various steps - none of which work. They ruined a good practice management program. I will not renew and do not recommend anyone else who cares about their practice and profitability.
Easy to navigate and intuitive. Have lots of features and functions, such as bi-directional email integration, trust accounting, CRM, billing, time tracking, etc.
Overall, the program is very slow and takes time to perform most tasks. Limits the number of credit cards you can sync with your bank; limits the billing/bulk options under certain plans; accounting module is very basic and light ages behind QuickBooks; CRM lacks depth and functionality of other CRMs.

Overall, Zola Suite makes it easy to track time, billing, deadlines, maintain notes on interviews and phone calls. If Zola ironed out some kinks, including the ease by which emails are saved from Outlook into the software, it would be a top product.
Billing and keeping track of time is very easy with this software. Additionally, the "Tasks" feature is very helpful for remembering deadlines and the like.
Zola Suite does have a few bugs that could use some ironing out. Some days, some of the features are unavailable. At times, saving emails to the email page from Outlook is not as easy as it should be. If Zola Suite addressed this, it would be near perfect.

Had it for a year. Building a great client contact list. Providing tasks to the office on the go is very functional
Calendar / task / mobile app really work well access by principal & staff — exchanging between staff works well
Financial component is weakest part — ended up getting a simple program for trust accounting. Just didn’t integrate the billing component— felt other programs did it better

This program is great and I highly recommend it if you are looking for an all in one design that can capture time, billing and files all in one. I have recovered so much lost time due to the automatic billing feature. Never having to switch between programs makes everyday work so much more efficient and smooth. I would highly recommend.
What I most liked about the software was the ease of use and the great training that came along with the software.
I did not like the initial lag time, however that was resolved and essentially was an issue on our offices end not Zola Suite itself.

Greater efficiency
I love that this is an all-in-one system. After having my billing all twisted up by trying to integrate a case management system with a billing system, I'm excited to have one place to go for everything. Also, the email integration makes tracking time and tasks seamless. The interface is beautiful and easy to use and I can see my entire practice in one snapshot.
There's a bit of a delay with the email and that's a little annoying. That's the reason fro the 4 stars instead of 5. I'll be moving quickly through my email and suddenly emails that I deleted pop back up again. Also, I'm eager for the live calendar integration and the bank feed.

I have been working in legal services for 20 years and have tried many practice management platforms. Zola Suite is by far the best I have tried. Super easy to use, straight forward pricing, lots of great functions that are actually useful. I would recommend to any practitioner.
Ease of use, flat pricing that includes trust accounting.
I cannot think of any - have not run into any problems.

The best thing is that everything is in one program. Calendar, e-mail, documents, billing, etc. Also, you can log in from any where and from any computer.
When you leave the calendar to go into another option, it defaults back to my calendar (I do not use a separate calendar at work) but Zola is working on this so soon it will default to the attorney calendars I use daily.

Our firm uses Timsolv to track our time and expenses, and to generate invoices to send to our clients. For the purpose, it is extremely easy to use.
Compared with other legal billing software programs (which also have case management features), Timesolv is a no-nonsense, cloud-based legal billing software.
Sometimes, it is clumsy to generate reports (i.e., running a report of all time spent on a particular case for particular members of the firm)

Easy to learn/use; excellent customer service; makes billing clients a simple process; you can set up different commission percentages for each attorney for each client/matter - program automatically calculates commissions.; you can email invoice/statements directly to clients with one click. Save time and money with Timesolv!
Timesolv takes their customers feedback very seriously. There is very little I can say I like least with this program, as they have added/changed many things to accommodate us and other customers. Wish it had more invoice templates..that's about it

Overall, we enjoyed TimeSolv Legal Billing. We have no ill will towards the program!
What I liked most about this software was its ease of use. I was able to put in time entries with ease.
What I liked least about TimeSolv was that it was a bit pricey and some of the features were buggy. However, it didn't stop us from making invoices.

Like most lawyers, I find billing and invoicing to be tedious. It's my least favorite aspect of the business. I used another product (Sage) for many years. It made me pull my hair out with frustration, as everything about it was clunky and difficult to use. TimeSolv is by contrast, easy and even pleasant to use. What a game changer. I highly recommend it.
TimeSolve is so easy to use!! I like the customer service, too. Though everything about the interface is fairly intuitive, occasionally I need help. Whenever I do, the staff promptly replies, with the information I need clearly stated. It's a great product.
I cannot think of a single thing that I don't like about TimeSolve Legal Billing, or about its installation.

This software is user friendly and packed with features. You can capture time at work on a desktop or on the road on your laptop, phone or tablet. Your monthly fee even covers all software updates and customer support if you have any questions.
I don't have any complaints about the TimeSolv software.
