The greatest benefit for me has been the support - welcoming, understanding of any queiy, swift to reply and always go the extra mile to provide solutions. Thank you!
I love the easy to use interface and the flexibility in terms of design. Brilliant too for planning one off campaigns as well as creating sequenced automations. Analytics are clear and easy and integration with my other softwares has been seamless. As an non tech person, all this is very welcome!
I'd love the see a quiz facility included within the software, although it is achievable with the current provision.

I primarily use ActiveCampaign for email automation, which is fairly easy to set up and offers plenty of flexibility
I found setting up reports to be very difficult to the point where I gave up. Custom reports also do not report on reply metrics.

I'm still a real beginner, so haven't used it much but I still see others recommend it as their first choice. I've sent out one campaign but I'm still building my funnel to build my email list. It has been really easy to integrate with the other software that I'm using, set up tags and add people to my lists. Looking forward to building some campaigns and automations. I haven't got any other products to compare it with so it's difficult to make any comparisons.
User friendly - I like the way the platform is set out and it's easy to use. The training is good at course.activecampaign.com/ I like to learn about everything rather than learning by finding my way through or intuition. I'm always worried I'll miss something. Good delivery rate and reviews. I did a lot of research and Active Campaign was recommended by several people I follow and trust. Easy to integrate with my website hosting platform (clickFunnels).
I'm in the UK so the live chat times don't suit me. I sometime have to wait a long time for a reply. Big jump in monthly cost for more users.

Overall it's brilliant; I love the email journeys. The pricing is also acceptable as it provides a great ROI considering it has features similar to WebEngage Journeys, which is a lot more expensive and serves different types of customers.
ActiveCampaign has some great options for automating repetitive work. It does an excellent job of managing email campaigns journey based on actions and events. This makes users feel it's hyper-personalised and thus increases the open & reply rates.
Pricing is one thing that sometimes hits after a certain point, as I don't monetise many of my email subscriptions/newsletters or ebooks.

Overall, ActiveCampaign is a great product. Nice and simple UX great feature set, plenty of integrations, vast training and support documentation library, friendly team.
We migrated to ActiveCampaign from another tool. The AC team took care of most of the migration, it was quick, went smoothly, and reduced the pressure on our team. The features they offer work very well, the software is reliable, and they are still improving it.
Their are occasional glitches, and sometimes things are not where you would expect to find them. Email messaging and automation related windows open quiet slowly. Support sometimes takes a bit too long to reply.

Good automation system. More organized compared to alternatives
Horrible support. Because I'm on the quarterly plan, I'm unable to upgrade the plan myself, when I hit my contact limit. While using this software, I've tried to send in emails to get upgraded on multiple occasions, but I always get no reply from support. My emails stopped sending out because of this

Overall my experience has been pretty good. The only negative is customer support. I submitted a ticket regarding the fact that the ActiveCampaign Wordpress plugin they tell you to install on your website is out of date and not tested with the current version of WP. It took at least a week before I received a reply. Their response was that "Well it should work anyway"...Not good.
ActiveCampaign has a lot of features. It really has everything you need automate your marketing which is a huge plus. Saves you a lot of time.
Some of the features when setting up automations can be confusing and figuring out how to do some steps can be time consuming.

I moved over to Active Campaign due to the numerous features and automations available which weren't available on other platforms. Moving my subscriber lists over was very simple as was setting up automations and starting new campaigns. I found some of the software a bit tricky to use at the beginning, but the Customer Support team are very quick to reply which has helped me overcome any issues very quickly. I would definitely recommend AC to businesses looking to diversify and upgrade their email marketing.
I found some of the features a little complicated to set up (the automations especially) however Customer Support were really helpful and since then I have had no issues.

a loss of money
Was really excited to start using Active Campaign as it easy to use and understand. The potential for this software is huge and i was keen to exploit it. Contacts, Automation, List and Forms all easy to use and set up.
Here's the rant!! I started with a huge contact list with the view of reducing it to about 20% . First (and only) campaign was set off and filtered out non responders, bounce etc with a view to deleting them. FIRST CON : could not delete unwanted contacts to desired amount and therefore get reduced subscription. Soon after Active Campaign takes monthly fee the contacts are reduced to some RANDOM...
