Pros

The team is great with helping you troubleshoot any problems and my team loves how easy it is to use.
I really love and appreciate the ease of use. It's super easy to throw together an email, assign tags, create lists, etc.
I am so happy to have Active Campaign on board. It is just what I needed to help promote my online program.

Pros

It's a very feature rich, easy-to-use, integrated marketing and sales system with exeptionally good support. Very fast, helpful and competent staff and they constantly developeing the system.
I frequently send gift codes and one of the benefits is that they can be tracked. The customer service is very good, they are always ready to help you achieve your daily goals.
The progress that they have made in these years is amazing. All the functions in the system are evolved and they do their best to make them better every day.

Cons

And that hurt our webinar registration for that week (which was a bummer) and we found out about this on the day of the webinar.
The major problem is the lack of ability to copy an email to more than the recipient. The lack of this feature is putting the continued use of this product in doubt.
I've a problem to pay for my upgrade plan due to an currency problem. The website automatically converts the price to my local currency.

Cons

One of the processes that has been more difficult for me has been the connection between the APIs and the platform.
With the help of customer service and automatic segmentation feature we managed to reactivate about 25-30 of our emails, after that we remove the useless, dead emails.
You have to learn a lot before you can start for example sending marketing emails. When you log in you can see plenty of different options but there is no priority of them, poor UX.

Pros

This is a quick and very easy work flow tool that has made our email campaigns much easier to quickly generate and get live. but not only that the tracking has done wonders for us.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve with this software but once you are over that newbie hump you can do pretty great things with it.

Active Campaign is a great tool to start E-Mail marketing and marketing automation endeavors.

Pros

What I like most is that ActiveCampaign is an all-in-one E-Mail Marketing tool, that enables the sendout of newsletters, the creation of e-mail marketing automations, lists, landing pages and much more. The tool has great integrations with Zapier that enables lead generation campaigns from other marketing channels (e.g. Meta, Google). E.g. we target users interested in our white papers on Facebook and integrate them to our e-mail marketing campaigns with ActiveCampaign.

Cons

For highly customized layouts and designs, ActiveCampaign is not the right tool. The landing pages do not really look very nice, and it is not easy customizing them. Furthermore, we had problems reaching the support the time our account got blocked. The Lead Scoring capabilities in ActiveCampaign are given, however they are not easy and intuitive.

I already recommended ActiveCampaign to a colleague looking for a marketing automation tool. AC has great potential, it seems it's well-thought-through already. Email marketing features are quite competitive, marketing automation meets our needs fully.

Pros

The platform is nicely developed, we're mostly using AC for email marketing, lead nurturing & automation. The features are well developed in that area.

Cons

I get the feeling we're not using AC's 100% features, would be great if the pricing plan was flexible so that we can pay for the features we use.

What i like the most is that you have everything to keep under control your database, your leads. When sending out an email campaign, it is so easy to set it up that even someone without experience could use it

- Many many many Marketing Automation Feature - Lead Score - Good visual flow builder of any automation and campaign - Good deliverability - They don't charge you many times the same lead (like other email marketing software...)

Cons

- It require some study and test to manage all the feature - The price is very different from the beginning and the higher plan are expensive - ...but it value all the money!

The excellent marketing and targeting options. The very detailed automation features.

Cons

The only con is not about the software features, it is about the fact that the deep data integration sometimes disconnects (we are using WooCommerce) and fails do connect again. The support wasn't very helpful with that. It happened several times and supports only solution was "disconnect and connect again". This procedure taks sometimes 3 (!!!) weeks.

Maybe the best set of features out there - CRM + Email Marketing + Marketing Automation. Unfortunately these features don't really work...

Cons

I haven't seen a software with more bugs - and they never get fixed. A few days ago my campaign was sent to people whom I specifically excluded. So we had to deal with angry customers. At the same time we haven't got any response from the customer support for 5 days. Whenever you have a serious problem they stop answering for days. We have been customers for almost 3 years but I am really disappointed and looking for an alternative.

ActiveCampaign is an excellent marketing automation tool, especially for B2B organisations. Very easy to use.

Cons

Events tracking is as powerful as other tools (e.g. you can't filter on event properties in workflows) but this functionality isn't necessary for most organisations. You cannot yet trigger automations based on Account property changes.

Pros

ActiveCampaign comes in two categories Lite and Plus, which you can pay a monthly or yearly. I like the simplicity and how the tools are put together giving one good suite. I love the following features which are available automation, CRM, landing page builder and email marketing.

Cons

The integrations with other platforms are not as comprehensive as one would like them to be and the landing page builder is unable to allow custom design page as one would like to do build

Field management and auto-fill functionality is lack. Email/Templates builder while works well is very rigid and locks in to the system, requiring custom builds to be made inside the platform. Little to no documentation or functionality for importation of external builds.

Great drips (marketing automation) & other email marketing features

We realize our marketing automation and campaigns using the software. We have tried the landing pages features but this feature could be more useful (more templates & user friendliness). Our devs enjoy the easy-to-use webhooks & API integrations.

Pros

The email drips are very robust and easy to set up (marketing automation).

Cons

A tad expensive when you get to the higher number of contacts

Pros

Easy to use. In my opinion the most intuitive and easy to navigate user interface.

Cons

To have a complete marketing automation platform, you have to essentially build a stack. Lacking Page Builder, useful analytics, and campaign measurement.

Most visual system for Email Marketing Automation Strategy

I could really understand how email marketing automation works by working with the visual map.

Pros

Email Marketing automation has been tough and time consuming. Active Campaign makes it easy, because it gives me a visual interactive map of every element in my email marketing strategy!

Cons

The lite plan lacks CRM capabilities, such as lead scoring and deal flow which means I have to upgrade!

I never choose another software after using them for one time

Pros

They have the best and integrated marketing automation product in the market. You can set your automation based on your audience behavior on your website

Cons

I would like to have this kine of software for sales but they are mostly b2c
