Pros

While many will say that the platform is a bit dated, Cision remains the gold standard in its field. The reliability, usability, and overall data quality makes me an extremely satisfied customer.
It's very comprehensive and has great customer support. You actually get an account manager which is helpful when you are first setting yourself up on the platform.
I was actually the person who convinced my boss to purchase Cision for a start-up I was at in 2018. It was helpful, but I'm not sure if it was entirely worth the expense.

Pros

The company listens to its customers and is always improving their product. The customer support is excellent: fast and friendly.
Love the ease of use and the support from the team. Helps keep our team organised across multiple locations and disciplines.
From the demo stage right through procurement and training, to implementation, our experience with PRGloo has been superb.

Cons

Horrifically bad value for money - our worst software purchase of 2017.
We sent out a first press release and the results were terrible.
Cision isn't always the most user-friendly/easy on the eyes. It can be awkward to fill out press releases, and they look different once they're published.

Cons

Lack of multi-lingual functionality initially, which is now being sorted by the developer team.
We've had a little confusion over topics, themes and tags within PRGloo, but that's more teething troubles on our part.
If PRgloo isn't the answer, you're probably asking the wrong question.
