Pros

Encourages cross-team communications. Great support from the vendor, and strong community of users and third-party integrators.
Was quite easy to understand for novice and navigate around and had easy to use and useful automated marketing features that made reaching a large audience seamlessly easy.
We use salesforce daily to engage with customers on a daily basis. It has been very helpful in managing customer journeys, sending and preparing emails, and getting good reporting.

Cons

The price, the user experience, the lack of multibrand use. When I threatened to take my business elsewhere we had one call with the VP but then he stopped responding to calls and emails.
It felt like they were just as fed up with this crap tool as we are. Although they didn't say it, I think one of our key employees quit over the frustration of dealing with marketing cloud.
Not all pending sends will list themselves under "Pending Sends," so that has caused some issues with accidentally sending the same email to the same list more than once.

A heavy hitter, but work to be done in UX

Despite being somewhat clumsy in real-world use, Marketing Cloud is a powerful, high quality suite for those looking to pursue robust, personalized digital campaigns.

Pros

This is an outstanding product for 1:1 engagement with an existing audience. We're still somewhat new to it, but are quickly coming up to speed. Best modules are open APIs, Journey Builder (basically pulls the entire suite together to build repeatable workflows), Audience builder (works hand/glove with Journey Builder), and Mobile Studio. It will take time for us to gather enough behavior and other attribute values to really put this to work. But it has plenty of horsepower and data tools and really get us to advanced personalization and performance analysis.

Cons

The suite is a set of modules cobbled together via the original product (ExactTarget) and new apps purchased by SFDC (e.g., Social Studio, which as Radian 6). This makes it cumbersome to assemble an entire campaign because you're constantly pinging back and forth through different modules (via a tabbed interface) to get things done. It's probably too late now for a truly unified, campaign-based UI, so it will have to do.

I dont see any negative about this product except for the complexity of the product, but it is tolerable since the Salesforces Marketing is very useful and you get what you pay. A must have App.

If your organization has the technological expertise to handle Salesforce's platform, choosing their CRM should be a no-brainer.

Pros

Salesforce's Nonprofit Starter Pack gives organizations built-in modules to track constituent's engagement metrics. Their Engagement Plans allow you to develop sets of tasks that help you develop constituents as they get more involved in your organization!

Cons

Using Salesforce requires a tech-savvy staff member to navigate and manage its complex interface and features. If you don't have an individual like this, you should look somewhere else.

Pros

Customer Journey Builder is the one which helps us to define the steps and activities to generate and nurture the leads and other I love is social studio, it helps monitor social media posts and taggings.. etc.

Cons

Even though it is Salesforce product it's not part of Salesforce suite of default products and don't utilize Salesforce default customer account, we need to manually map and use that. Licensing is also little bit complicated compared to other salesforce products.

The personalization options are pretty cool. But when you use them (with AMPscript) the Journey Builder is pretty much useless as Engagement Splits don't work with them.

Cons

Where to start. - Extremely buggy system. We had multiple issues with the Journey Builder that resulted in a number of our subscribers receiving thousands of emails which put us on the spam list for Gmail. - The Journey Builder is extremely rigid. You have to create new versions if you want to make even the smallest edit. Then you'll likely need to double check every single step because things break...

Poter utilizzare il CRM collegato alle varie funzioni di marketing cloud e gestione dei prospect e delle segmentation list non ha prezzo. Mi aiuta nella gestione non solo delle attività di marketing, ma anche per le strategie di vendita e per la digitalizzazione di molti dei dipartimenti aziendali dall'R&D, al Business development, alla corporate communication.

Bisogna affidarsi ad aziende consulenti per il settaggio e la gestione delle funzionalità più spinte del prodotto.

I have been using Salesforce Marketing Cloud for a few months now and overall I am very pleased with the software. I love that Salesforce can cover so many different facets all tailored to just about any business. For example, if your business does not have or intend to have a social presence, then you will not need the social media access for social listening, etc. I was impressed to learn how to map out journeys of ideal customers then setup analytics on behaviors and actions to track the progress.

Cons

Truly nothing. I wish I could have used every single feature but I was only able to experience parts based on what my client used. During a long engagement, I was able to help my client set up automated email marketing campaigns then track the progress along a defined journey to generate leads. Great interface. Sorry, this asked what I liked least and I lost track.

We are a business team and not the direct owners of the CRM layer. Using Salesforce occasionally for project-specific campaigns requires a lot of assistance from expert consultants or more experienced coworkers.

Pros

End-to-end campaign management for direct emails and omni-channel customer journeys. Powerful tools to segment, address and followup the customer base.

Cons

Very powerful but very complex interface: mastering its potential requires significant knowledge and hands-on experience.

Salesforce is an extremely powerful and useful tool. I would recommend it to any large scale business that has many accounts and needs to stay on top of all of them all the time.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a customer relationship management platform allows to create and manage marketing relationships with the customer and also to conduct campaign and maintain a good relationship with the customer.

Pros

1. Reliable and Easy to Use 2. Its supports integration with different apps and software 3. Userinterface is also really good. 4. Easy to configue as it base on force.com platform

Cons

Price is high as compared others in the market Lead scoring is not present Need to configue multiple things to make it works.

Great to streamline initiatives

Salesforce MC allows you to create one to one experiences. The MC allows a marketer to give a unique experience to each customer. For instance, the female, twenty-something customer will receive a different message than the 40 year old male who likes sports. This allows for a higher conversion. Salesforce MC allows you to create marketing journeys that are unique to each individual to further the buying process and foster the customer relationship.

I really enjoy the interface it is easy to use and has a lot of features that aid you in finding the help you need. It also helps out business in more than one ways.

Pros

Comprehensive marketing integration across email, mobile, social media, web, data and analytics make cross-platform marketing simpler. Sales Offers tailored fit Plans.

Cons

No customer assistance help line. Only provides 20 plus pre-built email templates.Pricing not yet available.

There are vastly more features offered with this CRM when compared to the competition (zohoo, Microsoft CRM). It offers customization for almost all of the features so that you can only work with the tools and settings you need. The preset templates for reports are useful.

Pros

- Customization - Preset Templates for easy use - Powerful Search tool - Sync calendar and contacts with private e-mail

Cons

- Difficult to reach customer service - Requires a significant amount of time to learn how to use everything

Salesforce MC is the best marketing automation tool on the market

MC is by far the best marketing automation tool to date, however it is not perfect. I wish Salesforce could offer customer support service as good as HubSpot, then it will truly beat all the competitors.

- Powerful features, anything you want, it has it! - Easy to use overall - Easy design tool for email responsiveness

Cons

- Customer support line is not as great as HubSpot's. - Resource library is a little difficult to use

As i have worked with many other crm tools but cheetah digital is more convenient and easy to use. From creating segment to executing campaign or downloading reports is very easy process. The best part is that you can create segment, test and execute withing 5 minutes. However, other crm tool takes 10 -15 minutes to do the same.

Pros

Cheetah Digital is the best tool for email marketing as we can easily upload the data in the form of csv and create the segment. There is very simple and easy method to execute email marketing campaigns. You just copy and create the campaign and paste the html code and run the campaign. This software is designed in a very easy way that anyone can execute the campaign.

Cons

This is very best software however real time campaign killing option is not there. You have to contact support for the same. It is time consuming process.
