I use Infusionsoft as a marketing tool, pairing it with Salesforce. Very powerful tool, attracts leads, and has generated significant new business. Very happy overall, and hope that one day I'll be able to eliminate Salesforce and use Infusionsoft as an all-in-one tool.
Really automates a lot of marketing and sales tasks, enabling me to run lean teams in those departments--saves time and money. I'm a fan of the campaign builder, because it allows me to customize interactions with clients despite the wide scale outreach I'm achieving. Everything can be customized on the software as well, and I cannot forget about the tracking capability!
Pricing was a little steep in my opinion, especially since there was somewhat of a learning curve. Still requires you to put in the time and effort to utilize its features to their best ability.

Looking at most CRMs the database aspect is pretty much the same from one to another. What I have found is that most are slightly better setup for sales than for customer service. The people of InfusionSoft know how to help customize their software to whatever you want to follow, no matter how unconventional it is. They work hard at through free of cost assistance to leverage their program to the clients benefit. They have a large and deep community of users that help enrich the users' experience.
Its integration is less ubiquitous than that of SalesForce, but is growing constantly.

Infusionsoft is very user friendly CRM marketing automation tool geared perfect for small businesses. One of the best features of this platform is the dashboard because of it''s customization ability. The main dashboard is organized into drag-and-drop widgets that user can customize. One of the most useful dashboard is called, My Day. This dashboard is similar to a project management dashboard that allows users to organize tasks, appointments, notes, and lead opportunities.
Infusionsoft does not have social media marketing automation built into it. However, it does have an open API and integrates with Zapier allowing users to connect to social marketing products.

I worked for a company that partnered with Infusionsoft when they were a brand new company. It was immediately clear that they had both a winning software, and a winning team. Infusionsoft is one of those products that doesn't have stuff just because it can. It's functionality is there because you need it. Feature-rich, logical, and pretty darn nice.
Like Salesforce, Infusionsoft can have a moderately steep learning curve if you're new to CRM software.

They used to be the best game in town by a long shot! Today, they're middle of the road in my opinion - still a solid system but lots of options out there now. But I still use them and like them!
Marketing automation is different their strength. Being able to setup automated marketing workflows quickly and easily.
Their reporting needs a major overhaul. No good, data-driven dashboards & metrics compared to systems like Salesforce. You can get the data but not easily nor intuitively.

Marketing Automation!!!
The marketing automation is hands down the best thing about Infusionsoft. From the ability to design your shopping cart to embed on your website, then actually creating the products in Infusionsoft so that when someone buys, it can trigger followup campaigns immediately. Also, the landing page builder is really nice!
While overall I think Infusionsoft is great, there have been several instances where I need to contact support for random minor issues. But with such a robust program, there's never been anything serious enough to make me want to switch, and their support team is great. One thing I'd like to see improved is the CRM functionality.

Needs to have a much better training program. I found someone who had a series of videos on how to use it. Much better than paying the to get the training.
Can implement, track and control your own marketing campaign. It provides you good feedback on if marketing campaigns are successful.
Extremely difficult to understand (especially for someone that is not tech savvy). Several people I know refer to is as confusionsoft.

Solid marketing automation principles.
Very solid marketing automation program with years of experience. Very good SPAM dodging technics which ensure a high delivery success rate.
It is difficult to set it up yourself. When I signed up they offered me a coaching sessions to assist in getting started. This never happened, I requested it a few times without response. I think one of their draw backs is that they do not offer a support desk where you can get a ticket number. To get support you need to use the chat window and it took the guys (several different support people) on the other side almost a week to sort out a little problem.

Truly the future of marketing.
It really helps to streamline so many processes. We can reach so many more people in a shorter period of time just by tagging our customers as we go. We can add each customer to relevant categories and it allows us to reach just the customers we want without bugging customers who do not want that info. For example: Customers who can only use product A will get the product A e-mail. Customers who only use product B will not get the product A e-mail. Customers who use product A&B would get the product A e-mail.
It takes some dedicated time to learn it and patience but it's worth the time. It is also a bit pricey but it has proven to be the best that I can find.

Automating everything in the marketing and sales process and tracking results. It is the most powerful marketing tool with toms of possibilities.
It's like a blank piece of paper that can be used to communicate many things. You're going to have to put 10x the work into getting the process in place than you would think. Once it's in place though it's great.

There is nothing i like least about infusionsoft. I'm coming from other software and they where very rough, and anytime i had to connect the software for marketing automation to the CRM and check which people where in which list. Now every people receive his own comunication and has its own funnel.

Infusionsoft has a great flowchart-style campaign builder. It makes building email campaigns fun. You can even personalize each campaign to any all your different clients. Infusionsoft has a private facebook group and great customer support
The cost is ridiculously expensive AND, on top of that, there is a mandatory kickstarter coaching package. The software is very complex and so you will need the kickstarter package.

InfusionSoft has really streamlined our marketing efforts, making it much easier to track leads, as well as organize and stay on top of follow up efforts. Their initial strategy coaching was super helpful in getting our campaigns up and running. Anytime I have had questions or wasn't sure about something, the InfusionSoft help desk has been really helpful in finding solutions.
The only thing I would rate poorly is the initial learning curve of getting used to a marketing software. We jumped from excel sheets and outlook calendars to InfusionSoft, and the transition was a bit uncomfortable for a few members of our marketing team.

For Email-Marketing, infusionsoft offers great tools.
As CRM-System for small companies it is totally unsuitable. The usability is very poor, every second updates they made changes, that you have to adapt your processes, which needs a lot of time and mostly they made it much more complex.
