Pros

Encourages cross-team communications. Great support from the vendor, and strong community of users and third-party integrators.
Was quite easy to understand for novice and navigate around and had easy to use and useful automated marketing features that made reaching a large audience seamlessly easy.
We use salesforce daily to engage with customers on a daily basis. It has been very helpful in managing customer journeys, sending and preparing emails, and getting good reporting.

Pros

Happy using surveymonkey, once I prepared office Christmas party and I used it to create a voting platform to present funny awards to the employees.
I love survey monkey I feel this is one of the best survey software out there. The setup process is very fast and seamless.
Customization on this platform is really fantastic and everything is so easily customizable, the user interface is slick and clean and very friendly looking.

Cons

The price, the user experience, the lack of multibrand use. When I threatened to take my business elsewhere we had one call with the VP but then he stopped responding to calls and emails.
It felt like they were just as fed up with this crap tool as we are. Although they didn't say it, I think one of our key employees quit over the frustration of dealing with marketing cloud.
Not all pending sends will list themselves under "Pending Sends," so that has caused some issues with accidentally sending the same email to the same list more than once.

Cons

The company's take on my dilemma was - "Pay for it" and you'll get the information you need. In my opinion they shouldn't bother having a free version of this software if it functions that poorly.
And completing would give you typically anywhere between 0.5-2. All surveys initially start with a few boring routine questions, which make you pissed off.
There should be more protection factors when approving registrations and preventing fraud.

We typically use Survey Money to allow subscribers to enter their survey responses, and for that data to get round-tripped back to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The integration works great for this purpose.

Pros

This survey software has saved our teams from having to write custom survey software/websites time and time again. There are tons of helpful integrations, including an integration to write survey responses directly back to Salesforce Marketing Cloud's Data Extensions. It's also easy to pass parameters from the survey URL into the behind-the-scenes data, or to use a survey variables on screen.

Cons

It might take a few tries to get the software to do what you're trying to do, depending on how complex of a survey you're attempting to make--but it gets easier as you go.

We use survey monkey for quarterly customer survey, we like that it is widely available and trusted by our customer base.

Pros

Relatively easy to setup and can start surveying customers in no time. Survey can be free provide that the results are not linked in Salesforce.

Cons

It does not have native app with in Salesforce, meaning we need customization if we need the survey results stored and integrated in Salesforce.

Pros

Learning Curve is very short. Lightweight, extremely user friendly. In the need to get a Survey out immediately post a webinar or event. Surveymonkey is the easiest and quickest.

Cons

Needs better integration with Salesforce and other CRM tools.

It's very easy for someone new to creating polls/software to figure out how to set up in survey monkey. Great way to dip your toes in polls/surveys.

The integrations aren't what we needed (salesforce, marketo, etc.) for our growing business needs.

This product works REALLY well for us as a stand-alone survey tool. However, we use Salesforce to house and report on customer data and getting the survey information to automatically feed into Salesforce can be challenging and cost/time consuming.

Pros

It's great to gather information on user feedback and also team feedback. Very easy to use and it's great to get others involved.

Cons

Not too versatile, very straightforward product. Wish there were more features that can help with outbound marketing.

Pros

It is vital in any business to be able to research the Market and come up with the Customer Persona that your marketing is going to target. Survey Monkey is the answer

Cons

Nothing bad at this time. It is a very useful internet marketing tool to have in your arsenal

Very Robust/Powerful, Not So Intuitive. Not So Affordable.

It was better when it first started and was simple. If they ever chose to get back to basics, this would be a great solution. However, as they grow and charge more, there's too many solid competitors for this to be the go-to anymore.

Pros

It does email marketing to the fullest, and more. They're the heavy in the industry, and are integrated with virtually every marketing platform that's worth anything.

Cons

There's not much that's intuitive with the interface after log in. It's so feature rich that it's overwhelming. Started off free up to 10,000 emails. Now, the limit is really really really low. There are so many alternatives at this point, that it's hard to justify. The email templates are limited, and clunky to operate.

Easy to use and powerful.

We use Survey Monkey frequently to gather data on employee satisfaction. The anonymity of responses allows us to gather the true feelings of the people who report to us. The honesty and clarity makes a big difference to how we manage our teams.

Pros

In a few minutes you can write a survey and start getting results. Quick and easy for simple surveys and robust enough to do more advanced data gathering.

Cons

I really have to think about a "con" for Survey Monkey. The monthly marketing emails are kind of annoying.

Simple and convenient

Pros

The questionnaires are easy to compose and send out to associates and / or customers to fill out . Because of how convenient it is, you can expect a good conversion rate of respondees .

Cons

They are very on the nose with their marketing and logo . I would also love to see more font options .
